Nagoya Sushi

Not busy, yet waited 15 mins to get a booth at 1: 30 pm. Well after lunch rush. Then sat for 10 more minutes while owner waited on takeout patrons. Food is good, but this time the service was very poor. Not satisfied.

Service was friendly and efficient, the food tasted immaculate especially considering how affordable it is. Would go again.

Good local sushi restaurant. The ingredients they use are fresh and they have unique black rice for sushi rolls. The set menus and trays are good value. The restaurant is clean and staff are friendly. Would recommend trying this place out.

Actually a little on the pricier side in my opinion, I would give it $$ not $. However, the presentation and taste live up to the price, and the serving size is good as well.

What the hell are they serving here. This was some of the worst, smallest sushi I have ever eaten. 100% not worth the price, maybe worth half the price but not more than that. You can get much bigger, better tasting rolls in the Guildford area. Based on the reviews I thought it would be worth trying, but it completely spoiled my evening. Definitely will not return here again and don't recommend coming here for sushi.

Had to pull over quickly because our 2 year old needed to use a washroom (potty training) pleaded to use their washroom they said NO only for customers. There were no customers in their restaurant, also doesn't seem like a valid excuse to turn away a 2 year old!

They make great quality sushi! They specialize in black sushi rice! Since 2012 their sushi quality has remained high. They have good prices as well! The restaurant was very busy, many people coming in to eat and many people picking up food. Service is good for sit in dinning! Would definitely do take out when in the area next time! Definitely recommend the spicy chicken karrage and beef udon! Good portions for the price.

Picked up food for my bday that was ordered by somone else and they drew on it and said hbd to me when I got my food. Food is always good here and it's my go-to sushi place because of the quality, portions and price but I just thought they outdid themselves this time. Love this place.

I have been a customer for many years. But I have noticed that in some dishes they have reduced the quantity and the prices have increased. Just an observation.

We love go to Nagoya as a family. Great value and delicious food. Also very friendly owner. She and her staff. Highly recommend

Called in for a take out order told me 30 minutes. Showed up 30 minutes later and apparently I never ordered anything. Last time ordering from here.

Food is good, but I had an issue where I ordered online and they didn't honour the price I got and the only answer was that the website was not up to date

Have been coming here for many years more than I can count. I drove 15km just to get food here and they turned me away more than 1hr before close saying they had too many orders sorry

I have been to a lot of sushi places and this place by far has the best spicy dynamite rolls. They are absolutely delicious and so fresh!

The sushi rolls are absolutely delicious from here! My friend and I got different rolls to try and each one was yummy!

I never knew if I would ever eat Sushi in life but these guys make the best one. You are missing something if you haven't checked out this place.

Our family has been long term customers but lately the prices have increased substantially and quality has gone down slightly. Not a good combination. Makes us sad as it is very close to home and was our go to Sushi place for more than a decade but now we'll be looking elsewhere.

Their online ordering system and pick is so easy! I love the sushi here and always get it to go for lunch. The service here is super helpful and efficient, and orders are always ready when they should be! The food is consistently great and so satisfying

Nicer pricing than many of the other restaurants on nigiris. The unagi was a bit disappointing and the rice was a bit undercooked. I would try ordering again for the pricing.

We really like Nagoya. It’s a good quality sushi place. Always busy so it’s always fresh. I waited at least 6 months to review to see consistency. They lost 1 star due to noticeable portion decrease in both fish and meat. I’m 100% FakeCorona is to blame. Not a deal breaker as we still buy from them. Great customer service and polite. They are cheaper than most places and is worth the money.

Excellent quality ingredients and portion sizes (even their Ebi Sunomono was larger than expected—a welcomed surprise compared to the dinky sized ones at other restaurants). They have ample special rolls to choose from, each presented splendidly. It’s a quaint little restaurant with limited seating but the food is above par. I also appreciate the option for black rice (upcharge of $1) : it’s a nutritious, flavourful choice and highly recommended.

I have yet to leave this restaurant dissatisfied. Nagoya is definitely among the best sushi restaurants in town.

Very fast service, and the sushi was good. It was one of the rare times it wasnt busy so we got a seat right away.

My first visit to Nagoya, I was starting to get a really bad cold and was shivering. The waitress had come by and given me medicine as well as miso soup even before I ordered to help me feel better. I can never forget that moment and to this day they are still caring and helpful! Small restaurant with good portions and delicious food! I always choose the black rice option whenever I'm here. Would definitely recommend coming here

Great price, amazing service. For quality cheap sushi that's quick this is the spot. Our waitress was first day on the job today and everything was impeccable. This is now our go to sushi spot. I'll update with pictures next time.

Tried out this place just to switch it up with my girlfriend. First impressions were awesome, really quick service. The employees are super friendly and helpful. Seaweed salad and miso soup were really good. Sushi was pretty good, not the best I’ve had but for the price your paying it’s really good. Will be back.

The food is decent.
However, the old lady at the front is rude. Asked her nicely how long my food would take after paying and her response was “do you want your food or not” like wow!
Also, gave me no chopsticks or soy sauce with my to-go order.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Great way to end our annual Vancouver trip, definitely ending next year's trip here.

Been going here since I was 14. Pretty good sushi with he sweetest owners. Also helps that its one of the cheapest places around.

Amazing customer service and prices are somewhat reasonable.
However, the space is limited and we had to sit very closely next to each other.

Been going here for 6+ years. Small, family-run, and good quality at reasonable prices. Only 6 tables, so there can be a wait; most of their business is take-out as a result. As noted previously, they offer black rice if that's your thing. Friendly service every time we've been there.

Came in and ordered a Cali, salmon tempura roll and some beef short ribs. My 2 rolls come out first, as we’re waiting for the beef ribs the waitress asks us if we’re going to eat the ribs there. I said yes (obviously) but she said it’ll be done in 5 more mins and they’re closed in 1 minute.they couldn’t wait another 10 mins for me to receive the rest of my order and eat it? !? Absolutely furious!

Prawn tempura didn't have much flavor but at least they were big.

Ordered fried dynamite roll, again not much flavor.
They could work on their tempura batter.

The yellow dragon roll was the best roll of the night.

Ordered another couple of rolls that were nothing exciting.

Great family run restaurant. Service is good and warm. Food is okay but inexpensive. They do a lot of takeout business and have half a dozen tables for a quick bite. Sushi is pretty good (for the money). Other dishes (tempura, Don, yaki,) could be much better.

I made a special request to add extra wasabi and ginger twice before paying. I was even willing to pay extra for it, but got back home to learn that they just ignored my request. I was upset because this is the second time they did this and feel that it was intentional than just forgetting to do so. Other customers in the comments have shared the same experience. Cheaping out on wasabi and gingerg.really? 30 min.wait time. Salmon and rice I ordered was also cold. Def.would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Very good sushi. The rice was so light and the fish so fresh. Not a big deal but the pieces on a single roll varied in sizes which I have never really seen before. Also the broth if the spicy seafood ramen was a really good chicken broth- I was expecting it to be seafood. For people who like their seafood to not be as "seafoody"- this is the ramen for you.

Nice small intimate atmosphere, sashimi is fresh & tender, service is good. Sushi is average. Miso soup tastes watered down, skimpy meat portions in the udon noodles.

The food that came out was quick and good but the service wasn't the best. They completely forgot about the other half of our order and when we asked if our chicken udon and chicken teriyaki roll was still coming she went to check and said that it was being made right now. We asked to get it packed since everyone was already done eating and when she brought it to us, we were still missing the chicken teriyaki roll.

This place is incredible. We went there just picking a place at random and it was great. Awesome food and fast service.

Please don't change your prices cause what you guys got at nagoya is pretty damn magical. This is close to being a perfect restaurant. Just revamp the seating and you're golden!

Never had a chicken teriyaki don with raw cabbages before. Small piece of chicken. Complained about the discrepancies of the prices online and they told me the prices haven't been updated on dinedash which i referred when orderkng. Wow. Whatever. The meal I ordered was not worth the money I paid. Tuna was not fresh either. Never going back.

The staff are lovely. Such great service here. The sushi was quite good for the price. Quaint little place. Will definitely be back!
