Went to Mitsubishi with my family because my old car was on the way out. We were promptly greeted by Devin Chapotelle who made the effort to see what we needed for our family. He quickly started telling us about all the safety features of the Mitsubishi's they had in stock as well as how it would handle in a collision which is very important to me. My husband and I were very impressed with his vast knowledge and his enthusiasm. Devin was never pushy and always remained very friendly, accommodating and respectful. You could tell that his goal was for us to be happy with a safe new vehicle. It has been a few days now since I took the car home and so far I am loving it.

We have been going around car dealerships just checking and having a look around trying to get the best deals that we can. When we first stepped in Nanaimo Mitsubishi I must say that the vibe got me. It was so inviting plus the Agent, Eric was already standing by the door waiting for us. I have been working in the Hospitality industry for 10 years and I must say that their hospitality is Top! They will be with you from the start until after getting your car. We werent supposed to lock a deal with them yet but they got us. That's how good they are.

Not enough stars to click on From start to finish, this was meant to be.
I drove out of the lot today in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler and headed for the big puddle in your lot it was then I knew, this is the beginning of a beautiful adventure.
Excellent communication from Scotty, special shout out to Jacob for his Jeep knowledge and for giving me a free torque set from his own vehicle so I wouldn’t be without one.
Kayla and Tanya? Thank you both for making the hard part of paperwork easy.
I can not say enough good about the whole team at Mitsubishi. You helped me check off #1 on my bucket list.

Called and spoke with service manager about an issue. He advised me I needed to speak with the sales manager. I have made three or four attempts to contact him including leaving messages with other staff memebers. My advise to the sales manager to contact me before I am forced to voice my concerns on social media.

Honestly amazing service.the service agents went above and beyond to help me through a bit of an emergency situation with my vehicle, proactively communicated with my regular mechanic and I on the issues, provided fair quotes and recommendations in a super timely manner.arranged a courtesy pick up at the last minute and i picked up a spotless vehicle the same day i dropped it off, for a thorough and fairly-priced repair.i could go on, but you get the idea.

My first experience was not a positive one with a certain sales rep who’s name starts with a “D”. But they were quick to rectify it and a new sales person took over and reached out to me before I had even left the parking lot. Their customer service from then on has been excellent. Hopefully I’ll be driving my new eclipse cross soon!

Well, we came uplanned! But the good guys there were so warm in welcoming us and just straight away ask what we are looking for.and at the end of the day, we got ourselves a new truck!
They will find a way to meet every needs you have, whether its for the vehicle or for the budget! All boxes are checked! Kudos to all the staff! It’s really been a very nice experience!

Great new location, compared to their old location which was an utter cluster mess.

Dealers seem nice only met a few ; they all seem to have the drive to achieve success an provided the best customer service they can.

Aside from minor personal issues I'm giving them 3 stars.

Bought a 4x4 truck, guaranteed that everything worked. Turns out the 4x4 wasn't working I guess I'm a chump for getting it delivered with out a test drive. Now they don't answer my calls, thanks Derak.

Experience was good, the attendant at the service desk was great, he explained what they were going to do for a service and why and also the price. The shuttle driver was professional and very courteous. Would’ve been 5 out of 5 if they had been able to also detail my car but the detail bay was unavailable… so they had to cancel my booked detail.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. I’m from the Mainland but during my vehicle research I happened to call and speak to Richard at Nanaimo Mitsubishi. He was so engaging, happy to answer my many questions and made it so that it was worth it for me to buy from Nanaimo vs 25 minutes up the road. He even picked me up from the ferry! Richard, Matthew and the finance team really made my buying experience an amazing one. If you want to feel like a truly valued customer this is the dealership to work with! You won’t be disappointed.

Found the vehicle I wanted write down to the trim package and kilometers I wanted.

Only down side after getting it and taking possession
I noticed the Dr side locking mechanism was pushed out.asked about it getting fixed never heard back.

Always hit up Nanaimo mitsubishi for services when in town, get good quality service staff. Been one of their customers for last 10 years, bought 5 vehicles from them. Can't wait to see their new building when completed. Recommend dealing with these guys if in the market for new ride and good service department.

Would of got 5 stars this time but had incident with their sister dealerships' shuttle driver (was filling in for them) needs to learn to slow down, had to talk to service manager and let them know what happened. He apologized on drivers behalf and made sure to make things right.

I lost my brother a year ago. All I had left of him was a Rose from his casket.

Brought my car in for the usual service and when I got my car back, the Rose was gone. I guess a temp guy threw it in the dumpster but, bless his heart, he jumped in and got what was left of it.

I was absolutely angry and heartbroken and although thankful i got it back, I was still upset.

Anyhow, I was told it would be made up to me as that was such an irreplaceable object that I now have destroyed in a bag.

Well I went back for my next regular service check and apparently, to mitsubishi, all my dead brothers rose was worth was $50.

Mitsubishi itself, not bad.
Mitsubishi Service Department, no thank you. Terrible. Deplorable. Sad.

Both my mom and myself were looking for new cars, from start to finish we took about 2 weeks to a month to decide on finally making the jump. Hermon, Scott Harrison and Scotty Aldred were all extremely patient with us, answered all questions, worked hard to make our deals fit our needs/budget, and were upbeat and fun to deal with the whole way through. If an issue arose during the process the team fixed it quick and genuinely cared about us being happy.

This was both my mom and I’s first time financing a vehicle, and the guys eased all of the nervousness of a first purchase. Kayla and Devon in financing were both thorough in explaining everything as well!

Thank you Nanaimo Mits! We can’t wait to see the new location and we are two new loyal customers!

Do not purchase a vehicle from them! I was lied to for 4 months about receiving money back after I signed the paperwork and I had to bring in the GM to fix the issue. I was told I'd have free lifetime oil changes, but went to get my oil changed and they hadn't ordered the oil filter for my make & model so I had to make another appt. 3 days before my other appt I received a call that I didn't have free lifetime oil changes and I had to send all text msgs, email conversations and signed forms to prove I had free lifetime oil changes. The list goes on and on. The branch and the whole "lag auto" group of companies are awful. I've had issues with the Nanaimo and Duncan branch. I strongly urge you to not purchase a vehicle from here because everything told to you will be a lie!

I am so fortunate that Justin Tryon was my contact the day I came into Mitsubishi. I really appreciated Justin's advice and because I listened, I am now driving a 2019 Eclipse Cross. During this past year the restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 have had me jumping over so many stumbling blocks that I was losing the ability to keep a positive attitude. However, Justin, helped me to turn the corner and as I changed direction I have been able to focus on the good things in life, in spite of the pandemic.

His expertise and professional demeanor encouraged me to have confidence, in the decision I was making.

Although it was late in the day when I arrived at the Mitsubishi dealership in Nanaimo, all the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone wore masks which showed me they cared for my safety and well being.

Justin was with me through the whole process so I was well prepared before I met with Devon Wilson, Finance Manager with Mitsubishi, to sign the documents. I had been observing Devon who had been diligently working non stop since I first arrived at the show room. Everyone was working hard. After signing, Justin escorted me over to Cailey Holman, who quickly filled out all the necessary Transfer and insurance papers for my signature. Before I knew it I was in my new car driving away.

Zero Stars. Last year my wife purchased a new car from this location and it was a pleasant experience. This year my wife upgraded to a newer model and the experience has been a disaster. Unfortunately this time resulted in huge headaches trying to get the financing correct. At the end of the day, the bank was blamed and we were left feeling as though we should've have given our business to a different Mitsubishi dealer.

At first my wife was dealing with Aly over the phone as we live out of town. He was able to find a great vehicle with the financing and features that she was looking for. He was great to work with and efficiently answered all the questions we had.
When we arrived at the dealership to pick up the vehicle she noticed a different car that she was interested in. Scott was great to work with and was able to get her into the vehicle that she really wanted with the financing that was acceptable.
My wife is absolutely in love with her RVR. We received exceptional service and would not hesitate to recommend this dealership.

Typically I wouldn’t write a review but I felt like I need to. I was in contact with this dealership 2 weeks ago, the salesman did all the typical things to start a deal with a trade in etc. He told me he was pretty sure he could get me into an suv which would be significantly better for my family with a very similar payment. I agreed to go ahead.forward to now I have yet to get a call back with any kind of update if I was approved or not, I even after I have called and left a couple messages. I honestly haven’t seen such poor customer service. Very disappointed.

The service department is wonderful but I'm not impressed with the sales end. We bought two vehicles recently. It's been a month and a half since then and we are still waiting to get the things done that they promised us. My partner is driving around with a cracked windshield that they promised to fix on his pre-owned vehicle. I keep having to call in and see what's going on. Our neighbour had the same issue with his vehicle. He said he'd never buy from them again. I don't know what's going on but it seems they will do anything for a sale but then move on to the next client and not make sure they follow through with the previous ones. Frustrating.

- It's been three months almost and we are still waiting for work. Still driving with a cracked windshield too

This is my 4th Outlander I have purchased from Mitsubishi and the second from the Nanaimo location. The sales staff I have dealt with have been awesome, both Tai and Nate were very knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend both. The finance manager, Devon has been amazing, doing whatever he can to make this sale happen, both before and even fixing problems after the sale! The service team, probably the best I have dealt with anywhere, bar none. The only issue is they really need to replace the furniture in the waiting area, lol

Took my car in with an issue that turned out to be more than we thought. The car had to go a few a few times (eliminating possible causes for the issue and wating for ordered parts to come in). Wayne in service was great the whole time, lots of updates to let me know what was going on, he let me know step by step what they were seeing how they were going to try to fix it. No pressure for any kind of upsell, all warranty work. They even found some stuff that was missed by a different Mitsubishi dealership. Overall a great experience.

I just got my first car (Mitsubishi eclipse) second hand and I phone asking about reprogramming a spare key I was given with the car, they quoted me $60 and a 25 minute wait. I arrived a little early and he Immediately used multiple sale tactics to pressure me into paying more for parts I don’t need. I also decided (after he talked me into it) to get a new cover for my original key. After talking to me, he tells us it will take 1 hour. I leave and head to mall across the road. I returned an hour later only to be told that they where unable to program the spare key, then hands me a bill for $115.03.he the asked us about purchasing a new spar key for $300 multiple times. The only thing I left with is a plastic key cover. I ask about the bill as I didn’t get the product, he then told me that he’d only charged me $29.95 for the failed programming. My expectations where not meet is an understatement. I left without what I originally came there for, as well as paid almost twice the amount.
If I could give it zero stars I would. This being the first and last time this 17 year old female will go to Mitsubishi Nanaimo.
EDIT: Soon after posting this I was contacted by a Mitsubishi employee, who apologized, and talked about paying for a tank of gas. He said that he would be back in contact to give me an update/sorting the details (he said he would talk to his team). He never got back to me. At this point I’m past astonished, not only to have this experience but then for them not even follow through with it.

I purchased a 2019 Outlander GT last year from these guys, and I just wanted to give a thank you to, Hermon the man, for negotiating me the deal I needed to fit in my budget, Liam the grand wizard for getting me the financing at a intrest rate I needed to feel comfortable, to Dez and DJ for taking the time to answer my questions and to remind me, not to sign anything, unless I'm truly ok and comfortable with the deal, and big shout out to the service department for not trying to sell me the ol wallet flush and being honest with me, bigger ups to the original OG Victor who's straight VL:) and congratulations on being with Mitsubishi for a decade!
I recommend these guys, any questions you can ask me, I'll give you a straight answer!

The service department is the best in town and other dealerships should take notes.

The dashed department however was better when it was owned by Harris. Ever since it switched I'm constantly getting phone calls for trades, my info on the computer is always wrong, and they still call me about my vehicle I traded in years ago.

If the rest of the company was as together as the service department is, I would rate them 5 stars.

Also if I wasn't such a big fan of Mitsubishi, I'd go but a Kia to not deal with their salesmen.
