Nanaimo Seniors Village

I recently helped a friend move her mom into the NANAIMO seniors village - assisted living wing. It was very hard for both my friend and her mom. Her Mom didn’t want to move, but she really wasn’t safe living alone any longer.
The place is beautiful, clean and open with lots of light - they have lots of activities for the residences - the food is good! And the best part is the staff! All of them! - from Jason the maintenance person who helped me get rid of boxes and move furniture, to Val, Jo, Christine and others. They all went above and beyond to make this transition as easy as possible for both my friend and her mother, I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity of spirit!

Nanaimo Seniors Village is the best. The Clients/Staff/Management are amazing. Not only do we work as a team we are supported fully by management. I'm grateful to beable to work with such and amazing team and most Thankful I get to be apart of so many incredible people lives "THE CLIENTS".

Good working environment specially in long term care. Management and staff are friendly. Residents and visitors are nice too.

My husband has been in the complex care for almost a year. We find the staff and accommodations very good. The residents are treated with respect.

Me grandma lives on the 2nd floor levels and she is treated quite well and it is tidy and mopped, compared to where we used to stay this has been a huge improvement! Thank you guys

I have worked at NSV for 18 months. I started in long term care and now look after all 3 buildings. The staff are wonderful to work alongside. The residents are fantastic and a pleasure to be around. They are the reason I do what I do.

My husband has been in long term care at NSV for over 2 1/2 years and I have nothing but good things to say about all levels of the staff and about how he is always treated with kindness and consideration. Not only that, but when I am feeling upset or anxious the staff are always there with a hug and a kind word for me too. Thank you NSV.

Very friendly staff, everyone there has a workers mindset and a helpers hand at any given moment, all the residents are super kind

My wife has been placed in NSV since June of of 2017 with Demencia and has been in Pacific Place Unit over this period. I have only great things to report on this establishment The management are always very approachable and any issues brought to their attention are dealt with in a very timely manner. I have a a lot of respect for all the management staff, the RN, and LPN.the care workers.as well as the cleaning staff. The meals are always well prepared and never a shortage of portions. In the six years I have been going there to see my wife I can truly say I have never had any issues and find all the staff helpful and and always display kindness to all the patients A great care home.
