I will never be able to provide an adequate summary for how exceptional NVH is. Everyone at the clinic is so thoughtful, the environment is welcoming and the quality of care simply cannot be beat. I can imagine the daily challenges presented to the ladies at the front desk, but you would never know because they are always so kind and accommodating, both on the phone and in person. Dr Alex is thorough, knowledgeable and flexible in her treatment recommendations. I have always felt comfortable asking her questions and never encountered an ounce of resistance when asking why she suggests a particular treatment. Thank you NVH, for continuing to provide the most outstanding care to the animals in this city.

Dr. Briggs, and the whole staff were great with our dog, thorough and professional. They checked what was going on with her ear and prescribed the correct medication.

The fact that we could call early in the morning and get her looked at same day, was very important to us.

Won’t recognize my vet records from another clinic and say they have to see my cat even though it’s been less than a year. Purely a money grab. Will be going somewhere else

Our Chocolate Lab, Belle, was in for her yearly check-up, plus (unfortunately) to have her lymph node aspirated for cancer. The aspiration was explained to be difficult, but Dr. Milligan was able to get a sample and Dr. Alex called with the great news that Belle was cancer-free! I've never heard a vet be so excited over the phone!
All the vets that we have seen and all the front desk and RMT staff are so caring and compassionate. I've already recommended Nanaimo Veterinary Hospital to a few people!
