Nando's Queensborough

Came here for a lunch meal. At nandos I always order the chicken sandwich. I have never had a piece of chicken this small. I kid u not it was mostly all bun & a couple bites of chicken. I called and she said all pieces of chicken are small for the sandwich and this is how they come now.
Well that's the last time I ever buy or eat there chicken sandwich. I want an actual proper portion of CHICKEN in the chicken sandwich.

Ordered a Chicken Peri peri bowl with this Nandos. I was served VERY raw chicken it was pink in every strip. When we brought it back to the counter, the manager was anything but nice to us. She gave us an extreme attitude back to me when asking for a refund and didn't seem to care at all that the kitchen just gave out pink chicken.

Extremely disappointed and utterly disgusted they served us all raw chicken, we’re not apologetic we had to demand a refund and I had to educate them that chicken is not supposed to be pink. The manager said they were understaffed I advised that is not an excuse as salmonella poisoning can be deathly. My chicken was colder than a freezer and the smell made me sick which caused me to leave work early. I do not recommend this location, they used to be great and quality and efficiency has gone downhill

We order delivery regularly from this location when our crew is working late. They constantly forget to pack utensils with our orders which are mostly chicken salads.
Happened again tonight. Unfortunately we have nothing on the job site. Not impressed.
Be warned if getting takeout.

Portion size has recently been drastically reduced. I always order a large Casa Salad with chicken and it has consistently been good. Today, the salad was not a fresh as usual, about 1/3 less than it used to be and the chicken was at least 1/2 as much and so overcooked it was hard through and through.

This place was on par with the Kingsway location near boundary road in Burnaby. Excellent service, chicken was cooked properly not over done or under done. Juicy flavourful chicken all around. What I would expect from Nandos all these years.

I love this place and the staff are nice and service is good. But if you order "marinated tomato and Halloumi chicken salad with grilled corn" you will NOT get marinated tomatoes, (they were whole) and the corn is from a can. Very misleading.

The venue is bright and clean. Food came quickly and were delicious. I highly recommend getting the perinase for the chips. The staff were also friendly.

Haven’t been to Nandos in a very long time. Figured I’d try it again. Service was friendly and helpful. They made an error with my order but fixed it. I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes. They taste like they are straight from a box. Chicken Caesar wrap was meh. Fries were very salty. Drink cup given was super small. It will probably be awhile before I come back.

What a nice surprise! The service here was excellent and the food exceeded our expectations too. Great value for your money. Will definitely eat here again.

Me and my husband ordered a Share Platter that comes with a Whole Chicken. It’s been 3 days and we have been severely ill with food poisoning since… (stomach pains and vomiting) I don’t think they follow proper sanitation/health & safety. The chicken had a slight odor to it, I regret consuming it so much! Be careful here, there have been complaints to Fraser Health with this restaurant in the past for related incidents.

Came in with my son, ordered a 2 kebab meal with two sides. It came quickly but shortly after receiving our food we noticed there was hair in it. They quickly made a new one only for it to have another hair in the food. No manager came to rectify the situation or make our experience any better.
Also when we ordered our drinks we were not told they only had 3 options of pop flavours which my son was not into any of them and just wanted ice tea.
I am extremely upset with the service and quality of food we received. I will not be returning to this establishment and will share my experience with my friends and family.

Order Nandos thru their actual website and it told me it would get to me in 50 mins about an hour and 30 minutes after I called Nandos to follow up with my order and they said Doordash has to pick up my order they don't know how long it could take and when I explained to them I didn't order thru door dash and they hanged up the phone on me so I drive all the way to them and they said door dash had my food I tried getting a refund they said it would take up to 3 days keep in mind I was just trying to get lunch during my lunch hour, they don't even deserve one start with the costumer service they have not recommended at all restaurant is full of disrespect workers

Chicken was cooked perfectly. Excellent service by the manager and staff. Restaurant was decorated in South African art which took us back to our trip there last year. Not a step but a leap up from KFC or another chicken fast food place. Last visit needs a bit more training in customer service. Maybe cause I paid cash and left the tip on the table. Still no excuse.

Our family only has done takeout at this location several times, not one issue to date.

We usually order either the Family platter or Jumbo chicken platter.few pics are attached.

Portions - decent for chicken.as per sides, don't really like having to pay a fee for the rice to family portion. The one the platters come with is not enough for a family.

The food was delicious as always and the staff person who helped us was great. However their debit machine was down necessitating ordering from the website rather than in the restaurant.

I love going to Nando's, they have a good variety for the spices on their chicken which is so juicy, I can have spicy chicken while my 4 yr old has plain chicken, and both taste good. I even bought some Peri-Peri sauce for the house previously. They have a decent variety of sides, and options for individual meals. The food is prepared in a good time frame from ordering, and it never feels like you are pressured to order because you have to approach the counter to order.
The decor is nice, lots of wood which makes it feel kind of rustic, but nothing overbearing, and a variety of paintings.
It is just unfortunate they are not allowed to have their drink dispenser working with the pandemic because it has an amazing variety of flavours.

Amazing food. I ordered 1/2 chicken with mashed patatos. Service was fast. Staff was really nice. Store was clean. Will go back again forsure

Hi, worst service, I didn't got what I ordered, it happened to me twice. Secondly, no hygiene, staff don't wear any gloves.

I got skip the dishes from this restaurant earlier today and found an item in my coleslaw that should not have been there. The item looked like it was a fish scale, which definitely does not belong in coleslaw. I normally do not leave reviews however, I feel that others should be aware of what could potentially be in their food. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

The food was very tasty. I had the chicken sandwich and the bread was so fresh including the filing.
I will keep coming back here.

Came to this location for the first time and absolutely loved the food. The food was extremely delicious and the staff was following covid protocols. They also were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back to dine in once in dinning is allowed!

Got the skers today. All staff wearing masks. Hand sanitizer available. Dine in served with take out sauce and cutlery. Looks well organized. And still delicious

Always love a cheeky Nando's. Great grilling on the chicken and they also give you sauces to take home if you're doing take away. Make sure to ask if you want extra sauce.

Visited for first time at this location under new management. Beautiful and vibrantly decorated dining area. Excellent service and both dishes i ordered were cooked perfectly, so succulent and juicy. Clean and well maintained, staff was following COVID-19 protocols.friendly and vibrating staff. Looking forward to see u guys again.

Expensive for the lack of meat, just go to Walmart and buy a pre made chicken and call it a day. There is better quality from Walmart then from this place.

The worst visit ever to this nandos.the cashier was very rude as if they are paying for my meal.even the fast food cashier assist more professionally and accurately.i would have mention the name but they don't have name tag on.

This location has amazing customer service. I live in delta and get dinner couple a times a week and the food is very good. The restaurant follows all Covid protocols, very clean. I highly recommend this Nandos for dine in and take out!

Friendly and quick service. The combo isn't as good of a value than ordering them individually. You save roughly $0.50-$2 when ordering them individually than in a combo.

The food here is amazing! To make it even more authentic the manager (I think) is a really friendly South African man. It is for sure busiest at lunch, but well worth the short wait.

The food was fresh, the staff were professional, polite, helpful and prompt. I appreciate good service and good food, period! A clean atmosphere and great customer service.

Ordered takeout of 5 whole lemon chickens for a varsity basketball team dinner. They were so friendly & accommodating. They cut up the chickens & packed them into one serving tray. They gave us cutlery, napkins & plates for 20. They also threw into extras like dipping sauces & butter. The chicken smelled so good & the boys thoroughly enjoyed their pregame meal. The restaurant itself is set up very nicely with nice modern decor. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

This location is by far the best Nando’s location I have visited. Chicken was tender and full of flavor! Staff was very friendly. Ambiance and atmosphere is wonderful!

This is the best chicken place ever. Their chicken breast and skewers are amazing and the perinaise sauce with the fries is delicious. The service is very unique and it makes sense. Overall very efficient and friendly staff.

My coworkers and I come here for lunch pretty often. They treat us really well and do a great job of serving the tables. The order counter usually has a line, and if you're in a rush you should order in advance, but we frequently get a party of 6-8 in and out in 45 minutes or so, dining in. Very yummy food, very clean restaurant, lots of parking, lots of tables.

Ordered a whole chicken in medium spice. Love this place. A nice restaurant to have dinner at the end of the working week.

Some of the best workers I have experienced. Super friendly team and would recommend to others. I believe the workers who served me with such virtue were some young adults named clifford and calvin.

Food was cold, girl taking order had attitude. Appetizers came after food. Garlic bread was really late.

I had tried a couple of Nando locations in town, and was not impressed until I visited this place. The chicken is juicy and very yummy:)

Was here a couple of weeks ago, I really liked the front sitting area as it looks like it's being recently renovated but the chairs in the back are in bad condition there's some rips here and there, but regardless of that, the food was really good and what I liked the most was having a sink with soap to wash my hands right after eating my lunch

When you get that craving for really good chicken! 1/2 lemon herb and 1/2 spicy for ME.can't be beat on the cold and rainy days!

Great food, so fresh and tasty. I don't do spicy, so I had the mango lime chicken breast. It was very delicious, chicken was moist. Love the choice of sauce and dressing. Reasonable prices

This is the third change of management i have noticed. Ambience is modern. It still has that rustic look on the tables and walls. The light fixtures are very modern and inviting.
The lounge is clean.
They keep the condiment stand stocked and clean.
Music is Brazilian traditional.
Ladies washroom is kept clean!

Now the food I ordered came in well presented on a ceramic plate. Food portion is reasonable for the price placed.
The only bad comment I have is my peri peri fries was salty. I did not bother complaining coz I was thinking maybe it was just that portion but it ended really salty until the last fry!
I wish they would grill the chicken more!
There's nothing wrong with the taste of the chicken but just needs more grilling texture on the outside

The South African manager runs a tight ship, his / his staff customer service and the food quality is top notch.

The food is tasty and they have a lot of different fountain drinks. The location is also really nice. It is worth the try.

Terrible.
Ordered the vegetarian portobello mushroom wrap, only to be biting into massive chunks of chicken.
First and last time for me. Showed up around 8: 45pm and all the staff were not excited customers were still coming in with 45 mins of service time left advertised on front door.

I love Nando's. We had a big order for 45 people. Order was made ready on time. Staff was very friendly and helped us to get our food in the car. Great choice for company lunches and dinners.

We regularly eat here as we found this to be the BEST Nando’s locally with awesome meals including a warm welcome & exceptional service from Arnold. Just love this Nandos!

It's flame grilled chicken. Wraps are good quarter chicken is good. Honestly can't go wrong and priced decently as well.

Amazing place, a beautiful atmosphere and lovely staff. Delicious food prepared fast and for a good price, would DEFINITELY eat here again and again.

Great chicken. With a lot of flavor. The place was full but was because of the time we arrive at noon. The service was fast the tables were clean. The dispenser machine gives too much ice so don't pres too much. Prices are acceptable for the food.

Even at the busiest everyone we interacted with was smiling and gracious.
Definitely a nice bustling sort of Nando's! The food was top notch as always, and they have one of those fun fountain drink dispensers that have dozens of flavours.

Let's talk about my favourite restaurant "Nando's". If you have not tried or do not know about Nando's, they serve Portuguese style grilled chicken with their famous Peri Peri sauce. They have great menu with variety of options which all are about chicken. You select how spicy hot you want your food to be prepared and your meal can be combined with variety of appetizers to choose from. They have some thing for any one. Their famous Peri Peri sauce starts from mild, "Herb & Garlic", to extremely hot that you should be crazy to try it. Their food is generally very healthy comparing to lots of other options around. Prices are fair considering the size and quality of the food you get. Personally, I rather to have Nando's for the same price that I should pay for some of the garbage fast foods that we eat some times. If you like their sauce, you can buy them from their store, Costco or some of the large chain grocery stores. Their sauce is good and can add perfect taste to your barbecued food.
I also recommend trying their Peri fries, as that is the best to me.
Now, about this particular location, I can say they provide very good customer service and really care about their customer experience. This store is owned and manged by cooperation and every thing is about customer service, from the time you enter to store and how they great you all the way to the end. Personnel are very polite, friendly, and caring. I specially was impressed by store manager who was working hard to make sure customers are happy and every thing is taken care of. As I mentioned, I love Nando's and am a big fan of them. I have been in so many of their restaurants in both BC and Ontario and overall they care about their name and are good with their customer. They can be very busy sometimes which can effect their service but comparing to lots of other restaurants they are way better.
I strongly recommend at least trying it once as you will enjoy the food and unique decoration.
