Nando's Walnut Grove

Very unprofessional we came there before the store closes and still they refuses as to take our order.wait there in the line and the person infront me gave his order and by the time when our chance come he told us store is closed.

A little disapointing as the manager /owner missed our drinks when bringing the food to the table. It would be nice after paying to get a thank you as well. Chicken was great, coleslaw dry and dressing wasn`t enough and tasteless, rice was slightly undercooked (a little hard).

I got dinner for 2 whole chicken and fries. I usually take out and eat at home many times but today 2 whole chicken was horrible which was so dried out not fresh at all and no sauce. I was so disappointed. I won't order again. When my husband call and tell them about it they didn't say anything. It cooked like long time ago not just cooked when I ordered. I really disappointed about that. I payed over 60 dollars and didn't eat cause of taste was horrible.

My order was late by over 10 minutes and they also forgot the garlic mashed potatoes and laughed in the back when I asked "where are the garlic mashed potatoes? " And they said another 2 minutes (which ended being 6 minutes) on top of the extra 10 minutes late originally. Also, nobody was wearing a haircut while handling the food and didn't wash their hands in-between. As far as a "spicy kale caesar salad" goes.only 3 tiny pieces of kale in the entire salad, plus barley any dressing.thoroughly disappointed in this visit tbh.always relied on Nandos for their food and service, but as soon as they got rid of their peri peri wedges. I feel nandos has unfortunately gone down hill.:/

The food was good. We only had water to drink. We were given a cold jug after we sat down. We didn't receive any further service. We asked for refills on the water and they took the jug away and refilled our glasses with room temperature water only. I guess you are only allowed one jug per sitting. The staff were not very friendly.

They don't put sauce in their chicken, not polite at all to their customers and drivers, takes forever to get the order.

I bought a whole chicken with 2 sides and I got 1 side when I got home. Called and left a message. No one bothered to call me back. And I asked for extra basing on the chicken, but they didn't put any.

The chicken was so delicious! We had a wonderful time. The portions for family sharing were smaller than we expected but overall a lovely experience.

Very tasty chicken, whether in a sandwich, a wrap or with rice, whatever spice level we choose. And the peri peri fries too take fries to a new level. The place has always been well maintained, clean and the staff always professional and efficient.

Middle aged Indian woman with glasses working in the front this evening has zero manners or customer service skills and a disgusting body odour. There was also a younger Indian man working in a blue polo and his body odour could be smelled from across the restaurant. Very filthy and off-putting! The liquor licence here has also been suspended due to violation. Get your staff to take a shower!

Absolutely worst service on nandos all over the world. Tony had been the worst first person i have ever at nandos.

Food is good. Unfortunately customer service is lacking. I'll be coming back for probably just pick up but dine in was not that much of a memorable experience! Hope they work on that and improve in the near future as it used to be one ofy favorite spots

Spiced rice was soggy. I ordered the quarter chicken and no sauce was included. I thought that would have been automatic. I should have asked at this store. Cause every time I ask at a different Nando’s store, they would always say it’s already in the bag.

Ordered a full meal with two sides. When we went to pick up, they were out of corn so we sub'd a salad. The staff member who was operating the front till went into the kitchen and without washing hands or putting on gloves, packed our salad using bare hands - really disturbing from a hygiene perspective, and to be honest ruined the meal for us thinking about how the other food items were prepared.

Best nandos! They seriously have the best food, the way they cook is better than any other nandos I’ve been to! Great service always so friendly! My kids love coming here to!

Food is great. BUT! The Interac POS system adds tips. They range from 15 to 25%!

I tried choosing my own amount, pressed F4 and it auto chose 15% for me. At that point I was over it.

The tipping does not really seem optional.

This method is not standard. I’ve not seen it anywhere else.

Compared to Nando's in Abbotsford way, this place doesn't do the brand justice. Stark difference

I ordered a half chicken to go, when I got home and opened it up there was a 1.5 inch strip cut out of the middle of my chicken breast. It was obvious the cook had cut out a large piece to eat themselves, then served me the remaining chicken at full price.unbelievable.

I recommend eating literally anywhere else.

They do a great job like most of the franchisees that own a Nando's. The chicken is cooked to perfection and they can't go wrong with a consistently good quality meal! Keep up the great customer service!

2 stars only because they do not fill the skewers like the other Langley location. Sometimes a third of the skewer is bare. When you go to Langley bypass location they fill it and you can't see the skewer! Maybe it's to save money?

Really good food. Ive only gotten take out from this location. So cant speak for dining in, but the service is good and food is ready on time for pick up.

I ordered a plain chicken for my toddler. I mentioned it twice that I need plain for kid.
After 30 minutes we received hot as f* chicken. My toddler started crying that it burns and I felt it too. Even my husband who loves spicy food and had a hot chicken for himself noticed the spice and assured me it was not plain.
It looks like it was marinated or covered in hot sauce.

I asked the waitress if there's any mistake because the food is spicy and we can't eat it. She said no and went away.

No apologies, no substitute. They never came over again.

What an awfull experience!

Whenever we drive down the Vancouver we try and make sure to leave early enough to make it to this Nando’s for dinner. It is easily accessible from the highway and the food and service is always wonderful. I have introduced many Canadians to the heaven that is peri peri at this location! Keep up the good work!

Arrived at 8: 45, it says they close at 9: 30 but the person at the cashier said only chicken is available and we can’t dine in. She very rude and disrespectful, do not recommend for anyone.

Good service, meal was fresh and tasty and price was very reasonable for the generous portions.

15-20 min wait for takeout became an hour, felt brushed off by staff. Poor service but food was good. Waited at starbucks for an hour (periodically checking in) till my food was done.

Nando’s is always my second home. Staff is extremely friendly. Loved the Peri Peri fries. Yumm

I ordered lunch at this restaurant and picked up. For 16 bucks I only received an over-grilled chicken leg, four small pieces of breads and a drink. It took them quite a while to get my order together.
From my understanding Nandos is just one of the fast food brands. Also I have not seen this ridiculousness at any other Nandos locations. Don’t go to this place if you have a second choice.

We just had our lunch here and this is the best Nandos i have been to here in Canada. The food was excellent, fresh, yumiii, and the restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. Will be back here for sure

I don't know about you but good, saucy, homestyle baked chicken is hard to beat. My stomach's not one for spice so went for the mango and lime. Absolutely loved it and brought bake many memories of growing up in Africa! Really enjoyed the fries too and if you fancy a little taste of Portuguese culture, make sure to grab a Pastéis de Nata (custard tart)!

They are not polite.
After paid 95$ I did order Two and half chicken with extra garlic bread. The order should be have 24 pieces of bread, they give me just 12.
When I called them m, said no your order have enough stuff and we never made any mistake.
It’s my last time here.

This clown show tried to charge me $1.59 for a side of mayo for my fries. I can buy an entire jar at Walmart for $2.87. The greed here was completely unreasonable and if this is corporate wide rather than just this location I won't be back to Nando's again, period.

Ordered through skip the dishes along with my co-workers at work. Got our food, barely any sauce on anything. Didn't follow the basic instructions we asked for.

We would have ordered from the location on Langley Bypass, but they are are temporarily closed.

Nandos in Walnut Grove staff is amazing! They care so much about front line workers, the manager of that location came and brought my staff and entire lunch for 20 people as a thank you for working during this covid 19 crisis! We all really appreciate it! Thank you so much!

So fast food is fast food and my expectations aren’t very high. However one would think, especially during these more difficult times that an owner would run their company realizing that good customer service is a must. And at the very least, be friendly. So here is the breakdown of my one star review: We called in ahead to order a large order of potato wedges. They said to come now they already have them ready. I walked over (2 minutes away) and the wedges weren’t ready and weren’t even started yet. Ok, no big deal, I can wait 5 minutes. What really put me off was the unfriendly, “unwelcome” I received. No smile, no welcome, no interest in me as a customer what so ever. I have had similar experiences the past 2 other visits to this location, and now realize this is the culture of that Nandos. Given the fact that you can buy fast food anywhere, I will not be wasting my money supporting this location. I do not recommend ordering from this location, stay away. Go somewhere else where, at the very least, you get a genuine welcome and thank you and will feel good supporting their business.

I feel very disappointed. I have aways loved Nandos and bought regularly from this and the Willowbrook location, however I have not been eating out since late February because of Covid. Now that the world has become more aware I wanted to try and do so to support local businesses because a broken economy is catastrophic for all of us. However when I called to ask what precautions they are taking the gentleman man said he wasn’t sure what I meant so I asked, “well are you guys wearing masks? Are the people in the kitchens wearing masks? ” And he said they don’t have to do that. I told him that if they aren’t wearing masks and talk over the food while they are preparing it droplets fall on the food. Anyways I have no control over what precautions they take so I told him never mind and the guy just hung up the phone, didn’t even say good by or anything. I was left on the phone thinking “Really? How is this going to help your business? ” Honestly I want to support local restaurants but I can’t if they aren’t taking this pandemic seriously. Small particles of saliva fall out of our mouth when we talk, it was a fact before covid, it is a fact during covid, and will be a fact after covid. People in kitchens preparing food should be wearing masks. Guess I won’t be eating out for quite some time until people connect the dots.

First time visiting Nando's. Had chicken sandwich Medium hot. It was okay. Not too impressed. May be have to try spicier non sandwich option!

Positive:
1. Cozy place
2. Nice and friendly people working
3. Tasty food
4. Clean washroom
5. Good customer servise

Negative:
1. Prices are a bit high (in my opinion, it's a little axpensive to pay $14 for a burger when you can buy at least as good one in Burger King for $7)
2. They position themselves like "something that was delivered especially for you from Africa, its pure soul. " but in fact, there is a piece of chicken, salad leaves, and a bunch of hot pepper. I don' argue, it was tasty, but is it $7 extra for the "story"?

I hope I didn't offend anyone. It's only my opinion.

Order your chicken as collection then your chicken will rest for a longer time and be super moist. It was great.

Nice quiet place to have some good chicken. Loved the food. Combos were great. Service was also great.all in all a good place to have a nice lunch.

Went in with my family today and our skewers were a quarter the size they were last week, it was mostly just a stick. When I asked the cook where the rest of the chicken was he responded that new rules they are this size. Won’t be eating there again, what a rip-off!

I love me some Nandos. Great food and I like the mixture of fast food and table service. This franchise location has am aesthetically darker appearance. Lower lightning, darker furniture and accent pieces. My review lost one star because Nandos, as is proudly stated everywhere on their brand, is Portugese. But while in the restaurant the station was tuned to East Indian music, which I'm sure goes against the brand and franchising conditions. I suspect this was because the staff were all East Indian. I probably wouldn't have noticed the difference except that the volume was high enough that it was intrusive over conversation.

Nando's is great. Unfortunately, this location doesn't have the customizable fountain pop machine, but the food is still great, as always!

Food is good! The service can be slow at times.all in all, a great lunch or dinner as long as you arent stressed for time.

Price is high If your not careful. But if you like chicken, It's the best bar none. When I leave I feel full but never bloated and gross. Place is clean and very friendly service.

Food is great but the service is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. They don’t appear to care about customer satisfaction. It’s sad, I’ll still go here cause it’s close to home but I’ll never expect to have good service. They didn’t even say hello to me today, I waited while she spoke on the phone.

Good chicken no doubt BUT &A HUGE BIG BUT on this is the side dishes. A large side dish is the size of a tea cup. No joke. Which is supposed to fill a family of 6 people on a party Pak order. You get 3 sides. Each giving a very small portion to each person. It's actually laughable that a food chain would chince- out on such a menu. The upgraded Share Plate is bigger than the large but you will pay more.of course. Nando's Head Office I hope you're listening in shame.how insulting are your portions.

Terrible customer service. My friend received her order and mine sat on a plate while other people who ordered after us had their food brought to them. My friend kindly waited and we wondered why they did not bring my food at the same time that hers was brought out. My friend went to the counter and asked them if they were bringing the food. When I received my meal, it was cold. They were very rude and did not seem to think anything of it. This was my first and last time at Nando's.

Extremely disappointed. Took them 20 minutes to make my to-go chicken wrap yet served before me another order that came 10 mins after me. Terrible service, I wouldn’t come again to this specific location

We enjoy this location not even as often as we'd like. The food is great.service is very agreeable. It's pretty much the only Nando's we go to;)
