Be careful of best before date when shop here, picked up an item already past best before date for a month, the cashier said it’s best before date not expire date, it’s still ok to sell and rudely asked me if I still want it?

This is the most convenient Asian supermarket in the Fleetwood area and has the best selection of products. Despite the name, I wouldn't say it's only a Chinese supermarket; it's more pan-Asian as you can get all sorts of spices and snacks. Things can be a bit pricey at times, but worth it for the convenience and being able to check off a bunch of things at once. Definitely recommend coming here for your Asian goodies and groceries.

Not busy. Lots of parking space in the back. Has a variety of Asian sauces and spicies. There's even some ingredients in making sushi and poke.

Love getting my Malaysian foods. Pretty much complete of supplies here unfortunately your store has a strong smelly grease (probably from the bbq meats section) that’s makes it unpleasant to visit

Please check the expiration date because every single items i bought here is expired. Never trust this place ever again

The ONLY place in the lower mainland where u can get authentic Malaysian CNY goodies! Also one of the cleanest, brightest Asian grocery store in the area. Good service, clean place, great & authentic products from Malaysia. & lots of parking front & back of building.

Many items passed the expiry date, so be cautious when you buy items. However they have lots items sold in local, so i usually go for fresh vegetables

First time going there today and it brought me back home to Malaysia! So many things there that is from Malaysia. I bought a lot of items. Their BBQ pork was also delicious. Very friendly BBQ server. Lots of Chinese new year goodies that I grew up with and so many treats there that I haven’t seen since my childhood growing up in Malaysia. Even the music made me feel right at home. Will definitely be returning. Clean and highly packed supermarket.

Pretty nice little store in the Fleetwood area that carries a lot of Asian foods. Seems to be a bit cheaper and better quality than other vegetable stores in the area.

Purchased the snack way beyond expiry date. Contacted the store manager, he was extremely rude without apology. Even told me it is legal to sell the expiry day food in Canada. That’s ridiculous and insane. Stay away from the store.

We were out in Surrey and we decided to drop by Nanyang Supermarket. This supermarket carries a very good selection of Southeast Asian foods that can't be found at regular supermarkets or even a T&T supermarket. My husband loves coming here. He especially loves Aisle #12 where he gets a lot of ingredients for cooking curry! Other things he has come home with in the past include pineapple tarts, BOH tea leaves, and Kaya spread. (You can get Kaya in other places but the one he gets from Nanyang is far superior in quality)

I noticed that they had Boba poppers there. The only other place I've seen Boba poppers is at Granville Island and they are fancy, expensive ones. When we've finished out our fancy boba poppers, I can't wait to go back to Nanyang so I can buy the more affordable ones and give them a try.

This place probably has the best Chinese BBQ in Surrey. It's not the usual red Char Siu that most places have, this place has a more flavorful style that I think uses Black vinegar. Pork Belly is fantastic, they gave me a vinegar and chili sauce with the Roasted Pork that was also delicious. Chinese sausage was also great. Soy chicken, dark and delicious skin and super juicy.

The prices of most things are a little cheaper than T&T and about the same as Henlong Market. They have some stuff that those stores don't have, some stuff is expired but most of it is just sauces with lots of salt so it doesn't really matter because you can keep lots of that stuff beyond expiry.

Going to give this place 5 stars just cause I liked the BBQ so much.

Always clean and organized. The staffs always smile and helpful. Not too big but they have what I wanted. Close by my place so pretty convenient when I need something. The vegetables are always fresh and looks nice. The prices are reasonable for me.

Met with Gary, the owner and was very grateful for his hardwork. One of the best South East Asian supermarket with a good variety of food and sauces! Coming from Singapore, I literally found gold!

Me and a group of friends always buy lunch at this supermarket because of its closeness to holy cross and since were students that buy lunch the 10 dollar lunch deal is great. Also the staff there is super kind and friendly. I recommend getting the roast pork its delicious.

Have to watch out for items found in this store. Bought some sauces and turns out to over three months expired. The selection of south Asian product is quite extensive but check the expiry date of everything you buy.

Was here on a Sunday afternoon and the bbq meat section was still full of assorted bbq meats. Don’t think I’d trust the protein section of the store at all due to their lack of product quality control.

Their product section was also very sad. Lots of veg/fruits that has been past its prime.

Would come due to the convenience factor but nothing to make a trip out of the way for.

Throughout the store there were many products that were expired or very close to expiration. Also, I found that some spice packets charged double the price that other grocery stores did. Buyers beware.

This place is one stop for Malaysian household items. I found dodol, tau sar piah, ikan masin, bah kut teh spice and Babas curry powder. This is what we call 1Malaysia I hope the owner stock up murukku flour soon. Overall satisfied oh yeah dont forget to check out the Kai Fun stall at the back worth trying.

Great place to get Asian goodies. Lots of Malaysian, Singaporean snacks, grocery items. Right now they have Chinese New Year cookies from Malaysia. P

Nanyang is a true gem of Fleetwood and is stuffed with incredible products at competitive prices. Try the Hong Kong BBQ stall at the far end of the aisles, and don't leave without a box of matcha latte powder!

They sell items that are expired. It hasn’t happened to me once but by now 3 times. It can be anything from sauces to cookies. I only shop here because of convenience for asian food. They also do a gift with purchase but those are often expired as well. It makes me wonder how fresh their meat is. Be careful. I want to support local but they make it really hard. Not the friendliest environment either.

I come here for my Malaysian snacks. Great variety of Malaysian goods I cannot find anywhere else

I love this place. It's a convenient and short trip from our place. There's lot of parking. The store is clean and does not (yet) have the quintessential Asian grocery smell. The inventory is vast with a lot of items that any one ftom South East Asia would be family with - and crave. Like the Kuching (Sarawak) Laksa. The prices are excellent compared to other similar stores. Staff is friendly. And best of all, they sell chendoh!

I live in North Vancouver but whenever I head to Surrey, I make sure I go to Nanyang Market because of the selection, fresh produce and the nice staff! When I need help finding something, the ladies are always so very helpful just like Corrie last week when I was there. I hope the owners know what a gem she is and how much a customer enjoys dealing with her.

Great selection of Southeast Asian grocery items that you can’t find elsewhere! Great customer service. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Will go out of my way to make a grocery trip here.

Great addition to Fleetwood. This place is like a mini T&T with a solid selection of Asian food including a well stocked freezer section. Aisles are narrow but pretty well organized.

I love how much food this store imports from Malaysia and Singapore. They even carry brands I wouldn't expect to see at T&T.

Excellent Southeast Asian selections from pandan leaves to banana leaves. Even frozen galangal! Definitely a go to place if you’re planning to heat up some southeast asian cuisine at home. 100% recommend to others.

This is an amazing place to shop for your Malaysian cooking needs. My family and I go to this store at least twice a week. The products at this place are quite cheap compared to other groceries in your local neighborhood. Products such as flour, butter, milk, eggs, meat, produce, and cheese are well below price. The owners are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you out and carry on a conversation with you. You can find 100 Plus, Twisties snacks, the Tarik, Kopiko, Milo, satay sauce, rojak sauce, all types of sauces and condiments that Malaysia has at this store! If you require something, just let the owners know and they might be able to order it for you (it has worked for me in the past). Will definitely be going back.

Discovered this market a few months ago. Very close to our home and absolutely love it. My son and I are huge fans of asian food and we often go there and stock up on asian food like ramen, soup and much more.

Well maintained and organized market full of Asian goodies. Carries a number of items not found in other markets.plus, pricing is super competitive! I had asked one of the male staff (owner?) a question about a product and he was very friendly and helpful. He also pointed out some popular Malaysian products and I am glad I took his recommendation. The Nonya Sarawak Sambal Laksa Sauce is amazing! A new go-to market for us - thank you!

New supermarket so things might pick up in time. Produce volume is limited, for example there were only 10 russet potatoes. Otherwise good variety especially Asian veggies. Good selection of Asian products like dumplings, soups and snacks. Very handy location so I'll likely return.

Shopping during this global pandemic has become a very stressful situation. Thankfully Nanyang Asian Supermarket is within walking distance of my home. They have everything I need with good prices and service. They have physical distancing floor markings, PPE for their staff, and plexiglass barriers at the checkout.

This is minutes away from my home, I love the selection of Asian treats. The price is competitive and staff is friendly. This small yet cozy supermarket is awesome. Plenty of vegetarian friendly options, even better than T&T!

All staff are helpful. Reasonable pricing. Wish they could consider to open the BBQ booth soon so people will have more meals choices on the go.
