Excellent service! I was purchasing a vehicle in Nanaimo but I live in Chilliwack. Auto check did a pre purchase inspection for me that was very thorough and gave me the confidence and assurance to buy it without even seeing it. They recommended some repairs, completed them for me on the day of purchase and had me on the road shortly after arriving to pick it up. I can't recall the lady's name working the front desk but she is top notch! A wonderful service person and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!

I’m happy to say that I found the shop I’ll be going back to. Jayne was an absolutely joy to speak with - she was thorough, kind, and funny (what a bonus!). The shop manager Ken drove me to my car when it was finished, and was also an absolute joy! I didn’t meet the folks who worked on my car, but if you see this: thank you, my brakes feel great!

Moved to Nanaimo a year and a half ago and this my new go to auto place. Reliable, thorough, and friendly service. So glad to have found them.

They did a thorough inspection on a jeep before I purchased it. I was very impressed with the quality of the report.

Everyone was very professional and respectful. The whole process from inspection, diagnosis, repairs and billing were flawless. Jayne was wonderful to deal with.

I had just moved to the area and needed to get some work done on the vehicle. Chose based on proximity/numerous good reviews. Went in for regular maintenance and they highlighted numerous deficiencies and decided to return for the recommended repairs. Upon picking up my vehicle I was greeted with a dash light for my ABS for a speed sensor on my right front (they acknowledged and had diagnosed the alarm prior to returning vehicle). Was told in no way was this associated with the work that had been done. But I've never had this alarm, nor any problem with this part of my vehicle in the 10+ years of owning it. Received a quote for the repair and additional +$450. I'm all for coincidences/bad luck but to get an alarm (never had) such as this after all sorts of repairs including to the front suspension seems too coincidental. Happy with what work was done, but likely will find a different shop in the future.

Had clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder replaced. Staff was very friendly and transparent and the price for the repair was fair.

Honestly I go here for all my auto repair needs. I always do a pre-road trip inspection. They are always so friendly and helpful. Let me know what needed to be done and what could wait. This time they fixed my air conditioning and despite being busy they got it done and with a smile. Thank you autocheck.

Second time using this shop. Wheel alignment and sway bar links. I was very happy. Quickly scheduled, reasonable cost, friendly staff. Two thumbs up.

The car detailing service was awesome. I got in the next day for a car detail and was very impressed on the transformation and quick service.

I’ve taken my car in here twice now. Most recent time I got an oil change and a general checkup and got an email with a very thorough list of everything that was checked and notes for each one from the mechanic. Great staff too, I will definitely be taking my car in here next time

Professional place to go, little-bit pricey though. Staff picking up the phone aren't the staff doing the service (hard skills). That's reflected in their good courtesy or mannerism (soft skills) when making appointments etc.

Good service is a rarity these days and exceptional service is almost unheard of, but today I received that elusive exceptional service!
I had a “knocking” sound from the suspension every time I hit a bump so I took my car to Auto Check. From the moment I arrived nothing was too much trouble. Dennis booked it in for a diagnostic check and told me that worse case I was looking at a $3,200 bill. However after a thorough check it turned out that some of the parts didn’t need changing and my quote dropped by $2,000! The work was carried out today. The Shop Manager, Kenneth, drove me home and picked me up again 3 hours later. The car was completed on time with no surprises. A great job for a fair price.

It was obvious that I was prepared to pay the $3,200 from the original quote and I wouldn’t have argued if they had said everything was worn and had to be changed, but they didn’t, they were honest and only changed what was necessary.

One Month Later ………
This business continues to amaze me!
I took my car in for an unrelated problem; I found oil on my garage floor. I did not have an appointment and arrived unannounced. Dennis dealt with me promptly and said someone would take a look. About an hour later I got a call to say that my car was ready. The issue was minor and only required a new filler plug on my transfer case.
This was a golden opportunity for a less reputable garage to make a mountain out of a molehill, and tell me I had a big problem, with an accompanying big bill - Auto Check doesn’t however do this! They tell you the facts and charge accordingly, if it’s a small job, you get a small bill.
