All I can say about Dino and his team is that these guys are true professional! The team arrived just before 9: 00 am and was done installing a new furnace and tankless water tank by 5: 00 pm! The work is excellent! Everything looks clean and uncluttered now! They even removed all the old stuff they took out!

My hot water tank was leaking /end of life so I called Nation Heating & Cooling for an assessment/quote. Dino was at my house the next day, showing me the issue/leak with my existing hot water tank and provided quotes for replacement options. Dino answered all my hot water tank and tankless water heater questions so I can make the best choice for my household. A reasonable quote was provided without any hidden charges and Dino was able to secure a new tankless water heater later in the afternoon. I cannot believe Dino & Team installed the new tankless water heater, removed the old tank and cleaned all in the same day! I will definitely use Nation Heating & Cooling in the future. Dino and his crew replaced our ancient boiler and water tank with a high efficiency combi boiler system. It was a big job and they did not disappoint. We recently had our 2 gas fireplaces serviced by Peter, who was friendly, professional, efficient and very thorough. Our fireplaces are quite old, and 1 of them hasn't been working very well for years, even after someone else did a service. Peter did a great job finding a few issues that only required some proper cleaning and slight repair, while maintaining safe operation. Now the fireplace works like it did years ago. I will use company again and definitely recommend them, especially Peter, to others.

Highly recommend Nation Heating. We had an emergency boiler gas leak and they responded on a Sunday, came back to replace the boiler to a combi boiler over the next 2 days (and rescheduled their other work for our emergency as we were out of heat and hot water on snowdays). The team stayed late on the first evening so that they can finish the job on the next day. Bobby and Peter in particular took the time to explain to us what was wrong (we are no techies but we understood what was wrong at the end and finally feel more informed about the system we now have), while Dino was higher responsive. Everyone from Nation Heating we dealt with were courteous! Bobby redid all our piping as well and made sure everything was efficient and built right. We have 4 young kids in the house and are so thankful that the team resolved our heating and hot water issue as quickly as possible, while doing the job well. Thank you Nation Heating! I'm dropping the other company and will be calling you guys again for our maintenances in the future!

They attended the same day I phoned, at a time when others could not. They assessed my needs and arrived the next day w a new efficient furnace- it was new years eve and the team worked for 9 hours to get the job done. They were efficient, professional and cleaned up- no hidden costs. I would use them again without hesitation.

I called Nation on Wednesday night last week. My furnace of 30 years had stopped working. I talked to Dino. I also wanted to replace a 13 year old water heater. He came out the next day to have a look at the job. He gave me a quote for a tankless water heater and a high efficiency furnace. Dino and Bob started work on the Friday removing the old water tank and furnace. Work continued on the Saturday. Bob stayed until 6: 00pm to make certain there was hot water for my family. No work on Sunday but that is to be expected and there was no emergency. They had the furnace going by noon on Monday. It was a big job in a cramped and confined space in a 90 year old house. We put the exhaust for both units 30 feet up my old chimney. They did a high quality job as short notice and very quickly. I'm giving them 5 Stars - Well done.

After realizing my hot water tank was long past its lifespan, I contacted Nation based on the positive and detailed reviews. I was helped by Dino who easily assessed the tank was rusting at the connection points. We talked about options and pricing and decided on a tankless system which has a much longer warranty and lifespan. During the installation, he even added a proper drainage channel in place of the hole in the floor leading to the crawlspace. After the installation, there were no surprises on the pricing and the work was quality. It was an informative, professional, and clean process from beginning to end. Dino and Paul installed a new boiler for us recently. We bought an older home last year and a lot of things weren't in good condition. I was able to get in touch with Dino right away and have him come over to check our boiler which was making loud noises. He took the time to check it out and showed which parts were the issue, but with the age of the boiler, he suggested a replacement to save money over the long-term. The quote was good and we decided to go with it, and scheduled the replacement for the next week. They installed the new boiler in a day and reconfigured pipes to make it more efficient. We needed our hot water furnace replaced as it was over 35 years old. The house is also hot water heated so a direct replacement of the furnace would is more complicated than without the hot water heating system. The pilot light kept extinguishing due to a leak in the heat exchanger so it was extremely inconvenient having to continually re-light it every few hours.

We called a few places to get estimates and recommendations. One complicating factor was that the furnace and hot water tank were located under the stairwell. The hot water tank was still good but if we just replaced the furnace and later required to replace the hot water tank, then the furnace would have to be removed in order to get the hot water tank out.

Therefore, we decided on getting a tankless hot water heater as it would take up significantly less space and we would not have to replace the hot water tank later.

Dino gave us an all in price and told us it should take two days so we would not have hot water one night. He indicated that he would be able to use the existing exhaust vent that exited through the roof.

Dino and Paul were able to schedule us in two days later and started on Thursday, the day before Easter Friday. Well things don't always go as expected. On the second day, Easter Friday, they realized that the current exhaust vent was not straight and actually had two curves. This was not apparent from a visual inspection as the exhaust vent appeared to run straight up through the main and second floor. It was also not apparent where the second bend was and we would have had to opened up sections of the wall which was not ideal.

We decided to go through the wall in the adjoining room. The bylaws required that the exhaust vent be at least 3 feet from any window, which again, became a slight issue. Also due to the requirement to cut through multiple walls and properly seal the vent on the outside wall, the installation took another day to complete.

So a two day job became a three day job. I don't blame Dino or Paul for the delays or issues. The extra work required was not initially apparent. Also, we had two new switches for the six zone hot water heating system and were going to use the existing ones but Dino replaced them all. We were not charged for the extra work or supplies. Everything was cleaned up so other than the exhaust vent pipes, you would not have known they were even there.

The wiring and piping for the original hot water heating system looked like a bird's nest. The new system is very clean, compact and out of the way. We can actually access the space under the stairs now without having the be a contortionist, especially if you did not want to be burned by the hot water pipes.

I would highly recommend Nation Heating and Cooling and Dino and Paul. Excellent service, as fast as they could be given the circumstances, polite and they stuck to their estimate, despite extra work and supplies being needed.

Dino has been very friendly and was able to have our heater installed on time despite of their busy schedules. All the workers are very professional as well.

Paul and Dino were phenomenal and very friendly people. We called them to help us restore our home’s heating and hot water which has been fidgety basically since the first day my family moved in years ago. Our old boiler was an outdated one and they recommended to us that we use a combi boiler system instead. I have seen this used in my workplace and was pleased to know that it was also Nation Heating & Cooling that installed the same unit at my job, so I know that it would be a well-done job. They gave us a reasonable price for repairing our heating and installing a new boiler while also installing a better vent for fresh air for the boiler repairing the exhaust vent for it. I don’t have a background with any of this, so I was hoping for my dad who has a background in this type of installation to look over it, but Dino and Paul explained their work and process very clearly to me on what has been done and how the new installations work. On top of that, they noticed that our gas regulator needed replacing and installed a better one on the house! These men are very experienced and for the amount of work they did over the 2 and a half days, I am very happy with the work and believe that it was better to go with this company. If you need something done about your heating and cooling, Nation Cooling & Heating with Paul and Dino are the way to go. They will make sure their handiwork is done right and do right for their customers. 5/5 for sure!

Dino and his company guy are reliable. They know that we need the heater because its been 2 days that it was been broke down. Came early and work so hard until they finished everything. Dino, make it sure that it is really done properly and working well by checking every vent in the house. Such a wonderful guy. They're all professional.
