I would like to thank tom McGee at National for his help when I was looking for a car. Unfortunately I had not done as much preparation as I should have when I started to look. By the time Tom found what I wanted my spouse had already found what delighted her and since she would do most of the driving we bought it. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for a car from the Nationakl inventory. A straight forward and honest man to deal with.

Bought a few cars here, the selection is smaller but it’s worth checking since the prices are reasonable. The staff are helpful and not pushy.

Ricardo's low pressure sales environment was refreshing and made it easy to make the right decision. Financing options were great and we are really happy with our new car!

Their focus is on what you as the customer want, rather than just selling you a vehicle. That focus probably gets them the sale. No high pressure and great customer service.

We couldn't be happier with our purchase. They showed willingness to resolve any issues, bring the vehicle from Nanaimo to Victoria, be flexible and we can't recommend the team of Ricardo and Tom enough to any prospective buyer. They treat you how you want to be treated!

Stopped to look at buy a new car, salesman was very nice. No pressure to buy. Very pleasant experience. Paperwork and insurance was handled on site. One of my best car buying experiences, would recommend to anyone looking for a used car.

I can not say enough about how great buying a car from Nanaimo National was. The staff are friendly.no pushy sales person here.this is not your regular dealership at all. I can honestly say this is the most fun we ever had buying a car. Can’t recommend this place enough. All of the staff are excellent! Ricardo helped me purchase a 2016 Hyundai Accent SE in beautiful condition, with low mileage and brand new brakes. He stayed much later than he needed to on Easter Monday with me to make sure everything went smoothly, and let me take the car on a test drive by myself to get a feel for it. I came back a few days later to have a few small scratches dealt with and met Tom, who got the touch ups done right away for me even though the staff member on duty was about to leave for the day (and he did an excellent job!) I really couldn’t have asked for more from this place. Excellent service, great prices and an unbeatable selection of vehicles.

Very happy with the customer service here, and the car. Ricardo went the distance to make sure we got the best deal for the car we wanted. We felt the opposite of pressured, which was a welcome change from everywhere else. We felt that Ricardo really cared, and he was respectful and friendly at every turn. Great service and very friendly. We LOVE our van and feel that we got a very fair price. Today I went in to pick up some headphones that came with the van and Ricardo came out to the van to try to help me with an issue with our Uconnect system. I recently purchased my second vehicle from National and I can honestly say if I need a third I'll be going back again. From the moment I stepped on the lot I was greeted by friendly staff who were very hands-off and allowed me to explore vehicles and test drive them on my own at my own pace. There were no pushy sales tactics and it was amazing to feel like the staff genuinely had my best interests in mind and were not just trying to make a commission. As most reviewers mention this is not your usual used car lot. Really nice people that don't try to push the sale and happily answer any questions that you have. They offer the cars at very competitive prices and they know it so no need to play any games. In my case I dealt with Tom but it seems like Ricardo is as good as him.
Regarding post-sale service, when I took the car home I noticed the direction wasn't perfectly aligned (only noticeable at high speeds). I let Tom know and he booked me an appointment right away at a location that was convenient for me to have it checked, no questions asked.
I've owned the car for 5 months now, over 10000 km and zero issues. 100% recommended

Ricardo was exceptional in helping me get a car. I never felt pressured and even when it seemed it was not possibly he assured me something would work out. He went above and beyond and got me a good deal. I will definitely be coming back for future purchase and getting anyone who needs to buy a car to him.

This Victoria (Colwood) location is by far hands down the best place to find your next vehicle! I had researched the vehicle I wanted prior to going, so there were no surprises. What did surprise me was the staff and inventory.zero pressure at this location. (I was worried they would swarm me like sharks) My partner had bought his vehicle here and told me to make this my first stop, and he was right. The pricing is fabulous, they are attentive in what needs you have in a vehicle search. I love my car and will have it for years to come.
What Ricardo and the Scotsmen did for me,
* I test drive a few different vehicles
* they pulled from there fleet, the vehicle I wanted at a different location.
* they detailed the car, and I drove it away with a full tank of gas.
* second key/fob at no extra charge
* they inspect, car fax. Warrant the vehicle leaving there lot.
* icbc rep came on site
* they got me a great deal on my old suv for trade in value. (I didn’t end up trading, but was satisfied with the quote).
* they give honest opinion, told me straight up if another vehicle was in a minor accident, not like other places where your signing the papers and they go. “ oh by the way. ”
* they don’t have a test drive route, meaning I took it out for 30 mins, side roads, hills, highway, very laid back attitude.
* I found Ricardo to be a family oriented man, which is important to me. He does business deals the right way, I saw first hand what an asset Ricardo and the Scotsmen were to National car sales. They both show pride and knowledge in what they do. Others lots could learn a thing or two from them both!
********its important to take your time when committing to a vehicle purchase, Victoria location does not rush you or talk you into anything! They stand by there word and will help you anyway they can. This did not appear to be a business focused on profit, they appeared and re affirmed there focus on what your needs and wants are in a vehicle search.

Good price and great customer service. When it appeared there might be a problem with my recent purchase it was checked out immediately, no questions asked.

This is car sales unlike any other I have experienced. Ricardo as salesman, Tom as manager, and Nathan as maintenance, come across as decent people with no sales pressure. The vehicles are in great condition, pricing is right, and there is only a modest document fee. I bought a wonderful 2016 Town & Country minivan in excellent condition, and they repaired immediately and without question the couple of small imperfections I saw. When I need another vehicle this will be the first place I come to.
