Great service, had to change our car out because of a flat, the answer to all our concerns was, "no problem". And we were in a new rental and on our way in minutes. I think we even forgot to fill up the tank!

Jay was great to buy a car from. Super friendly and helpful and didn't pressure us. Felt like it was an overall positive experience.

I'm unfortunately LEFT WITH AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR on my newly purchased car and am finding the management team less than willing to assist in a meaningful way. Upon realizing the AC on my vehicle was non operational I contacted Ferdie (National Manger) to follow up. Along the process I've had 3 mechanics independently review the issue and the consistent message is that the DAMAGE was LONGSTANDING and I unfortunately purchased a vehicle without working AC during the winter months (in hindsight defrosting the windows were very slow from day one).

If you are purchasing a vehicle from National I would HIGHLY recommend having an INDEPENDENT MECHANIC do a review on your behalf. The consensus from the mechanics after our purchase is that there were some significant items missed with our vehicle having passed it's safety inspection and some ongoing concerns with who has been providing this service for them in the past.

Even if you are told that there is an opportunity to discuss concerns afterwards (as I was) it may leave you holding the bag to speak. In the end I've been told that I'm responsible for the vast majority of my pending repair in order to be able to safely use our newly acquired vehicle.

As my wife says I can sometime be too nice, so I've given plenty of opportunity for this to be addressed in a mutually beneficial way, but we've gone from a family who was recommending this business to writing this less than favorable review.

I cant say enough about the crew here. I Can honestly say this is the first time no pressure.they listened to what our needs were.did not try to upsell at all. We had so much fun. We got a great car at great price.sorry the other dealerships could not hold a candle to their customer service. You gotta go here if your looking for good honest helpful fun staff.most fun we ever had buying a car! Thank you to all the staff the owner should be very proud if you all!

Disapointed. I bought a car there. I realized a few months after the sale I was only given one key. When I called a few months later to get the second key the sales person did not even bother to look. The car also ha a few problems. This car dearlership is not committed to customer service Best avoided. Buyers beware.

After searching in Vancouver for a newer Prius and having little luck, we contacted National Car Sales in Nanaimo. My partner spoke with Ferdie, and while he did not currently have one on his lot, he sent his driver to pick one up from the National lot in Courtenay. We took the ferry over and Ferdie picked us up from the ferry terminal, in the Prius, so we could test drive it back to his lot.
The whole experience was easy and quick and was such a refreshing change from the weeks of stress I'd been through trying to source a vehicle. The Prius is in mint condition, was a great price, and I'm so excited to be it's new owner. Thank you Ferdie for being so fantastic and for going above and beyond.and for having so much patience with us and our goofy photoshoot in the lot before we left!

Bought a car from here a few months ago and the customer service was good but the price for th car was higher then they mentioned with a lot of hidden fees. When I was signing the papers the rate they originally told me went up 2% even with an excellent credit score

Traded in two vehicles, got decent trade in prices, got a used car. Extremely professional, friendly, Ferdie and Jay were great to work and talk with. No problems at all, great experience for someone looking to get a vehicle. Would recommend highly.

After a less-than-desirable experience elsewhere in town, Ferdie and everyone at National made the process of buying a car much more enjoyable, quick, and simple. The service provided was absolutely outstanding and we found the perfect car for the perfect price. I will definitely be returning in the future for any car needs that I may have.

My experience with National Auto Sales was positive from beginning to end. I was served by Ferdie Roxas. Ferdie possessed thorough product knowledge, was always polite, helpful and friendly. He did not sell but rather facilitated the purchase a vehicle. He was never pushy or aggressive but always happy to respond to any inquires I may have had. All the people at National were genuinely friendly and helpful as opposed to the fabricated friendliness one usually experiences at the traditional dealerships. The pricing of their vehicles is very fair – I compared extensively and found their prices to usually below their competitors and never more. My next vehicle purchase will be at National and I would recommend National to good friends and family.

I am very happy with my recent car buying experience at National Car and Truck Sales. I have not purchased a car for many years and was feeling intimidated with the whole process, but that feeling did not last long once I walked through the doors. Ferdie, my sales representative, is a really personable and grounded man with the integrity required to ease my mind while creating the best possible financing/sales price package for my new Hyundai Accent. Recently purchased a used vehicle from Jay at National Car Sales in Nanaimo and it was perhaps the most painless experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. After deciding on the vehicle we wanted, we searched the web for the exact specs and mileage we wanted.they had it on their lot and held it for us until we could pop down and look at it from our waaaaay up northern BC home. Vehicle was a great price to begin with, but dealing with Jay and Ferd made the overall experience very pleasurable. These two come highly recommended online and I'm happy to add to the positive reviews. Keep up the great work guys!

I recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Accent from here and I couldn't be more happy! Very friendly staff working there! I did not feel pressured into anything which made my experience there so much more relaxing compared to other places. Ferdie took the time to make sure this car was the right one for me. When it came to test driving, he encouraged us to take it for more than just a 5 minute trip around the block, which allowed us to make sure the car would be a good choice. Overall I had a fantastic experience during a very stressful time and although I hope not to get another car for some time, I will definitely be keeping them in my mind for the future!
