We ordered take out sushi. It was okay. Considering it was so close to the ocean expect everything to taste more fresh, however it did not. The food was okay, but not excellent!

This was our go to Sushi place for years until a few months ago when we were treated poorly by the girl at the counter. We decided to give them another shot this past weekend and the same girl gave us the same bad service.
We are treated as if we are inconveniencing her by coming in. She is unfriendly and unwelcoming.
The woman who used to be there was so happy, friendly and knew us by name. Sadly we will not return.

A good restaurant with good service. The rolls were decent, although with too much cream cheese and not actual sushi. The Maki and Nigiri though were amazing and our favorites.

Yummy food, fresh sashimi, quick service.what more could you ask for? I like their sashimi bento box!

A bit irked by them only having packets of soy sauce vs a little dipper cup. (so much plastic waste)

The freshest sushi I ever had so far! Tasted delicious with a generous amount of fish in the sushi and the cones! Highly recommend!

From the outside it looks dingy, but they have great sushi to go at reasonable prices. If you want to quickly pick up some sushi, this is the place to go. I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the sushi.

I have been ordering delivery from Nemo since moving to Nanaimo in 2021 upon commencing my studies at VIU. Their food and service is unparalleled, there is no other place like them! From the fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and delicious appetizers, you cannot go wrong. Absolutely amongst the best sushi I’ve had, and I have eaten at countless restaurants (sushi compromises most of my diet>:) Definitely amongst the best on the island. Something that they did, I’m not sure if they do anymore, is personalized sticky notes thanking the customer for their order. It was a lovely touch and helped me see the brighter side of life when I was struggling. Food is top-notch quality and consistent. Staff is always fantastic!

Awesome awesome food and great staff. Wish they would give a bit more detail in the description of the online menu. A lot of people don’t like sauce on their rolls and I wasn’t expecting it to come with any.

Had takeout from here for my fiancés birthday meal. It was great and came in 15-20 minutes. Well done Nemo!

It is one of the best places on the island. Great value for money. They use high-quality ingredients. It's a to go place, but they have casual seating inside. It's definitely our favorite in Nanaimo.

We got food for pick up. I'm not sorry to say that this was horrible food! Wrong drinks. No utensils to eat it with! The deep fried food was soggy in our Don Buri bowl and hardly any teryaki sauce. Our Wasabi was smothered all over our sushi. No care in the packaging. I know it may sound as if I'm just picky but trust me when I say, find somewhere else!
