Absolutely delicious food! Truly simply fantastic!
The staff & service is awesome. The store itself is small, I have never eaten inside, always takeout.

I ordered snowing cheese chicken to go, my friend told me the cheese powder is too little. So I ordered 2 extra cheese powders.

When I open the box at home, they forgot one of the powders. Plus the amount of the extra cheese powder was a joke. The cheese powder was just sprinkled and I could see the bottom of the container. And they charge for that. I don’t know what to say to that.

Very disappointed.

I ordered the original boneless chicken. It was super flavorful and crispy, not too greasy! The pricing is on the higher side but has decent portions. I will definitely come back to try their other flavors.

Amazing Korean fried chicken. Very good portion and tastes very high quality. Criminally underrated.

Yummy fried chicken. Totally check it out. If you do & order online via Google Search, DO NOT click on the "ORDER PICK UP" on the Google brief. It takes you to the virtual 'storefront (by Door Dash or other similar delivery company) & not directly to the Nene Chicken website that you can order directly from saving you $3 for a half order. Even though the 'fine print' is visible & says the storefront by xxx is severely unfair & completely misleading that the most obvious click point for online order is a redirect from the website you're there to find.

Wanted to try out Korean fried chicken. Definitely was please to try it here. Will go again

Great battered fried chicken and french fries. I preferred the original flavor to soy garlic, which was too sweet for my taste buds. Food comparable to offerings from other vendors. Loved the pickled radish, crunchy and acidic to offset the oil.

Service super friendly. However, food took a while to arrive (20 minutes) even though we were the first customers when they opened.

I have to edit the review because this business clearly lacks a grasp of the English language. Bait and switch = you (nene chicken) offered the bogo deal on Uber Eats, then proceeded to change or switch that deal to a pay $x to get drumsticks deal during the same day because you couldn’t afford to offer the bogo deal.

Bait and switched a Bogo medium boneless chicken on Uber eats. Very dishonest business.

This business model is an absolute disgrace. There is no choice at all for an individual to eat here. No choice in which piece to have and no wonder the place is empty all the time.

The chicken is marinated too long but tender. The chicken is good without any special flavours.

Taste no good. Freshness no hood. Shaker fries gross. I do not recommend this place for fried chicken at all. The batter is so thick you can’t tell what is chicken or chicken skin.

Ordered take out twice and the food was still super crispy and hot when I got home. Original sauce + green onion, snowing cheese, and hot bling are all amazing flavours. I would recommend ordering the chicken with original sauce & green onion, then adding the snowing cheese + hot bling on the side. That way you can have all three flavours and control the amount of cheese/gochujang (hot bling) on the chicken.

Snowing Chilli tasted great.
But I kept biting into bone bits while eating bone in chicken.
Either the chicken isn't fresh or it wasn't prepared properly.
It's bad either way.

We ordered the full sized boneless chicken with half and half seasoning to share between two people. For seasonings we chose the soy garlic and snowing chicken. Both were delicious, but I loved loved loved the snowing chicken. It was so addictive. Overall, it was generous portions of chicken and they were deliciously juicy and crispy.

I visited to order the chicken but didn't order it cause I saw the kitchen staff didn't wear a mask properly and they were talking to each other without masks. I can't trust their hygiene standards.

The good: The original chicken was tasty. Not very greasy, which was nice. Lots of meat on the bones. The swicy flavour was great, but wasn’t spicy at all.

The bad: For almost $50 (including tip) I was expecting at least more at fries than what we got. They charge extra for the chicken with sauces on them…

Overall impression: the quality of food is good. Better than a traditional fast food place, which is reflected in the price. You will get to taste Korean style chicken here, with Korean style sauces and spices. Even the radish that comes with the meal is a nice Korean touch and quite refreshing to eat between bites. The interior of the place is clean and open with lots of natural light. Staff are friendly.

Reiterating the sentiments of the last few reviewers, I have to say this place is over-hyped and their social media campaign has obviously worked very well for them. The sauce in the YES Burger is awfully sweet and inedible, leaving you no choice but to dispose of it rather than torture yourself to carry on eating it. You are better off going to Churches, KFC or better yet, Downlow Chicken for a real fried chicken experience.

Bone in swicy ‍️‍️‍️ (meat is tender juicy and well marinated. The swicy sauce tastes nice, no wired artificial smell. The batter and chicken skin are just all right, balanced.
Overall very satisfying and decent. Love the finger glove

Boneless fried chicken:
The portion size is a bit smaller for the price but it's still filling. High quality, not greasy.

Breading is a bit too thin but you get a lot more meat. I was surprised by how juicy the meat is.

Not the best bang for your buck, but it's well-made. Orders come with a side of pickled radish.flavours are on the sweeter side.

It's a smaller operation so wait time can be annoyingly long.

Absolutely horrible! We got the switcy which tasted super sweet n tomatoi n not at all spicy. The original was just tasteless. We had to discard majority of it unfortunately n it definitely not worth the hype. ITS BAD. Save ur money n time dont come here for fried chicken.

Surprisingly mediocre - chicken was crispy, but nothing special about it. It took the restaurant 50 minutes to complete our order (which I understand with how busy it was). What I don't understand is why the chicken was cold and fries were hard and stale. They estimated a 50 minute wait, we came back after that time estimate and they told us it would take another 20-30 minutes but everything was cold and hard. I don't really under the hype, but hoping that the standard of food is because the restaurant is still relatively new.

Heard lots about Nene Chicken and the long waits so waited a while to try. They now have online ordering and it was super quick. I had a 10 minute drive from work and the order was ready when I got there.

I ordered the Hot-Bling burger combo which came with fries and a soda. The price is pretty reasonable compared to other burger places. The menu had two chilis indicating the spiciness, but wasn't that spicy. However, it had enough spice combined with the bit of sweetness with crispy and moist chicken made it a very good burger. The bread was different (good different) and still a bit toasty by the time I ate it. The fries was packed in this little rectangular box, was a bit on the soft side, but not the restaurants fault, just took too long for me to eat. Solid fries.

Next time will try the regular Korean chicken, was tempted this time, but just can't finish that much food. Good and quick lunch with online ordering.

We ordered the Hawaiian burger, spicy burger, fries, onion rings, and the coleslaw.
The fries and onion rings were mediocre, supplier chain frozen pack product. They were also not warm even though we had to wait for our order to be ready.
The burgers were fine, but the piece of chicken in both sandwiches had a tough, chewy section to them.
Coleslaw was generic, with dressing similar to KFC's.

The boneless chicken and the regular chicken was amazing, very different to all the other korean chicken places that I've went too!

This chicken is overrated, overpriced and extremely tasteless! Their swicy chicken is soggy and not crispy at all. Their stores do not have what states on their website menu and their locations are super hidden. As such, I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone as it is a total waste on money and effort.

Great Korean style fried chicken. I recommend the green onion friend chicken. I already ate half before I remembered to take the photos. Get the green onion sauce if you like wasabi

Delicious with different sauce that you can choose, But you have to order online and pick up, so I was wondering if we can have service from App to delivery, it will be great.

This chicken was way too overrated, overpriced, and tasteless. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Also, they do not have everything that they claim to have on their website.

We got the YES burger and the swicy (sweet and spicy) boneless chicken. The burger was a nice balance of crispy chicken, lettuce and bun- would order again. The boneless chicken though was not crispy enough considering we had it right away. I get that Korean fried chicken is supposed to be saucy but I’ve had others that were crispy and saucy. I’ll probably try the snow chicken next time.

We had the soy and garlic chicken and cheese chicken. Both were good, but I don't like the soy and garlic is a bit too spicy. The box is cute, but the chicken is by all means not cheap. It was crispy but the chicken has more batter then the chicken from rib and chicken.

Snow chilli chicken is a unique flavour that you can’t get from other chicken restaurants! Chicken is overall very crispy. Their packaging is very cute as well.

Overly hyped. Not even close to what you get in Seoul. Way too much sauce, and the blind spicy is not very spicy at all. Just do Churchs, or Popeyes

Ordered online and was ready in about 20 to 30 minutes. Easy to pick up, no waiting. Chicken was nice and crunchy. Not salty, not oily.

I'd say comparable (price and taste) to Chico Chicken but with less options.

Packaging is a bit wasteful though.
