Nero waffles

Best waffles in town. Favourite is the crispy Brussels. This time it wasn’t as crispy as before but will tasted great. First time having savoury waffle there and it was great. Please note there’s no washroom there. If you need to use the washroom, will have to go to McDonald’s next door. Only have about 3/4 tables so if it gets busy, there may be a wait.

The location we went to was a quaint and cute little shop. We got our food pretty quickly and the two waffles we got were delicious! Not too sweet, and very filling! Highly recommend the "Heaven" and the "All the berries" waffles!

Visited on two separate occasions since it was a quick walk away from where I was staying - tried the Brésilienne waffle (Brussels style; crispy), as well as some of the mini liège waffles, all of which were great! I'd say the Brésilienne was a bit pricy for what it was. If you have the mini waffle in store, they plate it nicely too:) I tried the dark chocolate (my favourite), pistachio, and summer berry flavours of the mini waffles and would recommend the former two.

In-store there are tables for 6 pairs of 2 (12 seats in total) and self-serve water.

Fast service, good covid preventions at the tables, delicious waffles! Great dish presentation, too.

Great waffles but disappointing customer service. We came in approximately 35 minutes before closing and we were told we could not dine-in since they were "done" for the night. Multiple dine-in tables were still available, and there was still a group dining in.

The associate said we could order take-out and eat our waffles (with ice cream) outside in the cold sub-zero temperatures. The lack of empathy was disappointing. We reluctantly agreed since we had already paid for parking.

After we finished, we noticed that the same group was still dining in. There would have been zero difference to them if we had dined in, minus having to wash an extra plate and 2 forks. But I guess they were too lazy to do that.

Delicious waffles! Highly recommended. Waffles were light and crispy. The fruits were also very fresh. Will definitely come back again.

Love love love the waffles here. I can't order waffles anywhere else. I order the brussels when I dine in and the liege when I take out.

Perhaps this is only my local experience. Unfortunately my order got served with expired and spoiled whipping cream. Adding to that not so friendly staff and service.
I might assume on a better day experience could be way better.

Good work into the waffle and the choices. Their seating area is average to be honest and their coffee choices are kind of limited.

Overall, it was a good experience!
I recommend the rocket waffle with poach eggs.

I don’t which two girls were working on Nov 2,2021 but their service was horrendous. First off, they charged me and my partner for two coffees, yet forgot to give us the second coffee. When we politely asked about the second coffee, we were met with a hostile attitude, almost as if we had accused them of committing some kind of heinous act.

After much debate, they finally charged us for another coffee. After a good ten minutes (this was an Americano by the way), one of the girls came out and asked if we wanted cream and sugar ON THE SIDE! I can safely say this was the first time I’ve ever been asked if I wanted cream and sugar on the side of my coffee.

Needless to say, will not be going back to Neros Waffles. Two stars are for the tasty treats.

Probably the lightest, crispness waffle I've had. I was dealing with some urgent work related stuff while here with friends and even then I could tell the waffle was exceptional

Both locations are great in terms of food. The waffles are one of the best in Vancouver. The only thing is the Robson location you cannot sit down to order so whilst deciding to order, a whole line up started to form behind us which is not a great experience. It’s not that hard to have a QR code on tables for a menu that’s easy accessible to customers who wish to dine in. Just a suggestion that would really improve this place. If you want to dine in, I would recommend the Seymour location more! Hope this helps.

A little over priced for waffles in very small portions but it tasted great. I got the mango waffle with vanilla ice cream and it was divine, just a little smaller than I expected for the price.

The best waffle I've ever eaten hands down.

I went for the Nutella mousse one, swapped the caramelised banana for berries. I chose the Brussels waffle base, it was cooked to order using proper yeasted batter. The end result, light, crisp on the edges, soft and fluffy inside. It was incredible. The ice cream thick and creamy like gelato, the mousse and cream not too sweet and sickly but added lovely richness. The berries worked a treat to cut through and provide some tartness. I wish I could get these waffles back home in the UK.

Sampled the Fall flavors Mini Liège waffle box and it was a delight! One each of the original, vanilla custard, speculoos, raspberry, white chocolate, hazelnut and churro de leché. If you have a sweet tooth - definitely visit this place! Waffles come in a cute box that would be great for gift-giving or just bringing treats to the office.

Always amazing for and good service. If you want to sit down you do need your vaccine passport but take out is also available if you don't have it.

One staff member (an Asian lady) was unfriendly and seemed as if she didn't want us there, although we did nothing wrong. The place is small/uncomfortable to dine in and we were told there's no bathroom we could use, so we had to go to the McDonald's next door. I'm pretty sure it's illegal for a dine-in restaurant to not have a bathroom for customers, unless there are certain unknown exceptions they fall under. Would be worth it if the waffles were as good as the reviews made them out to be but they're mediocre at best, nothing memorable. We got banana brulee one and a berry whammie plus some drinks and none of them stood out to us.

A friend recently surprised us with the mini Nero Waffles at the top of a mountain, & they were absolutely the most delicious waffles I've ever had! Going to check in one of the Nero Waffles bars soon!)

So yummy! My daughter and I went and it was one of the best we've ever had. If you're not a sweet tooth like I am, get “Heaven”. A refreshing and light dessert. My daughter ordered the “Brésilienne” which was fairly sweet but just to her liking. Would come back here again! 10/10.

Got the Strawberry Biscoff Brussels waffle and it was so delicious that I finished it right away. I got 2 more mini waffles to go, thinking about saving it as snacks for the next day but ended up eating them all at night. There weren’t many different flavours for waffles when I came over, maybe because it’s the end of the day. Would definitely go back and hopefully get to try different ones.

Loved the waffles! Service was fast for just one person working. There is minimal seating inside and out, but it wasn’t too busy when we went.

A decent dessert spot! Portions are light and the options are in my opinion more expensive than they're worth.

Only ever walked by but that musician Astroturf everyone buzzing about is said to have loved it there surely had he eaten it.

Go-to place whenever we are in Downtown Vancouver Area. Ordered the berry mascarpone, banana brulee and took home a box of mini liege waffles.

Our kids loved the waffles so much we had to go back a second time during our trip in Vancouver. Nero serve delicious sweet and savory waffles! Each waffle is unique! They were so kind to substitute fruits for our son who is a picky eater. Also, we loved their cappuccino. It was the best one we had in our entire trip. Reminded me of the perfect Cap I would have on a European Patio!

The waffles are amazing and delicious, place are tiny but cozy and lovely. I gave 2 out of 5 just because the servers are not friendly at all! Couple of times coming here and they are always not welcoming. Not wam and just like “forced” to work. Better go to the Seymour one!

Favourite desserts place downtown. The banana brulee is very very good. Small but intimate seatings inside. Good for dates.

So Delicious I totally love the unique and so very delicious I'm telling you just have to try and decide for yourself, but I already know that you're going to feel the same way about Nero waffles as I do. Just don't go there on a beautiful Saturday or Sunday afternoon bcuz it does get over crowded and there will be line up go in the morning or evening. K

I wish there were more then 5 stars to give. Out of this world waffles topped with amazingly delicious imaginative toppings. The Banana one and the Oreo one are why we chose and we were all blown away at how good they were.

One of places to have snacks! Absolutely love their food and vibes. Their staff is amazing and customer service is top notch! Very limited seating but absolutely worth going there.

Cute, stylish, and trendy. Nero is an amazing place to have breakfast, lunch, or grab a snack to go. The staff was friendly, helpful with the menu.

The biggest thing I noticed while here was that even though it doesn't take up much space, it uses all of it. Fun atmosphere meets great food and who doesn't LOVE waffles!

They haven't reinvented the wheel, but they have made you notice how great the wheel is again. Highly recommended!

Cheaper than coffee too - those mini delicious bites! If you're passing by towards Stanley park for the walk this would be a quick bite place! <3 Fantastic staff & service.
Note: 2 diff locations serve diff things on the menu this one is little limited but still good!

The wait is usually 20-30 minutes. We got a table we wanted though which was great. We got the Liège aux Fromages and Speculoos on Brussels waffle. It was amazing! We got to sit on the patio with our blankets and coffee and enjoy delicious waffles. We will definitely be back. Service could have been a little faster in my opinion. (We waiting like 10-12 minutes for our coffee and water)

Today I got better serve when we're in Miku compare yesterday. Was Yesterday we book for lunch but waiters rude not give us best place which she said full book (which I saw 2 empty table) and she not put on Cutlery at all on my order which those are steak. Totally was emberasse me yesterday.
Today, we passing by again no reservations and we got table, plus very kind waiter which she prepare well table with napkin and Cutlery.

Better service today. I give lot tips too.

Overated, overpriced and undercooked. These words sum it up. The waffles weren't even warm when they got to us. I'd prefer a less hyped place any day. Save your money.

Absolutely amazing service! I’ve been a customer for years and I always keep coming back for more! Today Steph was kind enough to make me two chocolate mini waffles even though they were out. I told her my nephews would kill me if I don’t show up with they favourite waffle and she certainly did not let them down! This 5 star rating is well overdue, keep up the amazing work guys.

Today I order an ice coffe. It was so poorly made and the coffe was at Caribbean water temperature. Instead of offering to make a new one, they added more and more ice until any taste of coffe was gone.

Service and staff are just tops and the waffles to die for. Just go and see for yourself. I had the caramelized banana and nutella with a nutella mousse. And my friend had raspberry and dark chocolate both served with vanilla ice cream and cream! Yummy. I do not know why I have walked past this place for years without going in.glad i did yesterday. Those waffles are filling so go when hungry!

A small and indulgent waffle bar. The waffles do not disappoint! They have an excellent selection of sweet and savory waffles that are bound to satisfy.

The food was good but not worth the trouble for parking. We sat inside and there were fruit flies around us (just a few but still). Direct above us on the ceiling were three huge flies.

Yummy waffles with 2 different choices on what kind of waffle you get! Only thing is there isn't very much seating so it's hard to eat in on a rainy day

Service was good. It's a very tiny place but feels homey. The waffles are great! A bit on the pricey side, but it's good to share with friends as a snack.

Waffles were decent.but too sweet. Poor slow service. Had a leak on my table and when mentioned to the waitress she said. "no worries" what does that mean? Really? Not going back. 3 waffles a d 3 milk for 45 dlls? No thanks.

I took my cousin here 5 years ago and when he came back to vancouver this was on his must eat again list. Fast service and yummy waffles. Seating is limited and can get a bit hot inside.

Very tasty waffles, we tried a few varieties. I liked the Nutella + banana on the crispy waffle with ice cream for a couple of extra $.
Everyone liked their waffles, don't ask about the calories though.

One thing to mention is that they don't have a bathroom for customers which to me is not acceptable.

The best waffles in Vancouver! Seriously! You can order waffles from your breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a deliciouuuuus waffle menu with a lot of toppings options. Love it!
