Fresh food, quality products, large selection and great customer service are reasons I continue to shop here.

I’ll keep coming as long as they keep having me.

Also I enjoy the deli daily.

This would have been a 5 star rating because the store was beautiful, produce was fresh, staff were friendly. I did not enjoy waiting in the line to pay for my items. The line went all the way down one aisle and then half way down the aisle at the back of the store. It would have been great if the supervisor on duty could have hopped onto a cash to help clear up the line.

Not really big store but in general, there is almost everything you need.
Nice for this neighbourhood.

Shopped here for ten years almost daily - over the past year or so they have stopped selling almost everything I came here for, and are out of inventory on basics so often it's genuinely not even worth coming here anymore.i now make an extra 16 block walk to go to a competing store where all the products this store no longer sells are still available in abundance.i get the strong feeling that new management is doing everything they can to cut corners - but they recently stopped selling my coffee now too so this place is finally dead to me.no nesters for me ever again.too bad cuz the cashiers were always cool - but I can still wave when I walk right on by.i sure hope the numbers on those papers in the office look greater than ever because I feel really sorry for all the locals who can't just make the extra 16 block trip to get the things they used to rely on this store for.management job well done i guess.

Very well laid out, earth and inviting small market with lots of options and variety for the size of the business. Produce was fresh and inviting, good selection of snacks and deli items. Very reasonable prices. Surprisingly few vegan options considering the location.

It appears I am not the only customer who feels the same way about the deli counter at #4556 Main Street store. I am left standing there for at least 4 minutes (i have timed it) before I am even acknowledged. When i finally am acknowledged and I give my order I get the "look" as if i am speaking an alien language? I have to repeat myself at least 2 times. After all this I have to watch the employee like a "hawk" as my request was clearly not understood and i get 2x what i ordered or 2x less. I do not any "hello" how are you" nor "thank you" I am there almost every day and yet this is the service i get. When they do get the order correct it is like watching "paint dry" it takes them forever to slice 5 slices of deli meat. Are they not happy due to takeover of Nesters? Whatever it is they are losing clients as many of my neighbors feel the same.there are other local market stores.or many of my neighbors are driving to other market stores. This specific store may want to review their logo of "where the locals shop".

I miss what Nesters used to be; now be prepared to fork over more than you should be to Jimmy Pattison.

Terrible staff. Produce is outdated.
Took blueberries back as they were moldy and the clerk said sorry no refund untill I spoke to a manager.
Will not shop there again.
Will stick to save on foods.

It's a small local grocery. But I do wish they had more cashiers open during busy times (just before dinner time).
