Im a big fan! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I love their churros and hot chocolate

This place could be amazing but staff are very rude, unprofessional and totally out to lunch. Been a member since January. Used to come here often (daily) spending over 60$ per day, really, I used to come here daily.but stopped due to rudeness of staff a while ago. Today I thought I'd give them another chance, bought over $130 of stuff and tipped 23 dollars. Staff member came tried to get me to leave or to pay 2 non member ship fees without even checking to see if I'm a member.

They even have a poster inside that says spend more than $50 and membership fee is waived. They didn't even check to see if I was a member or ask if I was staying or having it to go. She came at me hard for the membership fee so I told her to apply my tip to the membership fee. She said she couldn't do that as that's not how it works.

I don't know the girls name but she was probably new, but the most unpleasant thing to deal with. Needs some desperate customer service 101 lessons. The other staff member is a gentlemen with black nail polish. Tried to charge me for an extra sandwich and then when he realized his mistake didn't even apologize, generally just overly aggressive and always seems to be really uptight.

I'm never coming here again, go the cannabis lounge upstairs, the staff are way friendlier. Just buy coffee and food elsewhere and hang out at the lounge upstairs. 1000x better environment.

I don't know who the owner is but I would def have a mystery shopper come visit this place to keep staff in check.

The place and atmosphere are great. We were a party of 5, and the clerk charged us an extra cover and refused to charge for the food accordingly. We noticed and asked for a refund on the extra cover. They tried to blame it on us and said they wouldn't be doing any refunds but could offer a joint. We disagreed, as this wasn't our mistake. They got upset and pulled out a $10 bill and said, 'Don't come back. ' It's sad that a place that claims to be 'friendly' and 'safe' does not uphold this through their customer service.

Updating my review after my first visit since the pandemic began. It's comfortingly mostly still the same place I know, they've rearranged things a bit to make more seating room but still very familiar in there. The food is exactly as I remember it, heh, not gourmet but it does the trick when one is stoned.

I don't know if this is typical these days but they weren't that busy on a Friday night, there was room to distance if that still matters to you. Again, I don't know if this is typical these days, maybe last night was different somehow.

Good tree. Lady rude at night asking if we were customers because we needed to use the restroom. And fyi I was a customer twice that day.

A must visit when in Vancouver. The root of Vancouver Weed Tourism. Great staff, menus, and atmosphere. Enjoy a latte and joint anytime of the day!

First time here, usually go upstairs. Very good vibe, good music and kind staff. Tried their Cinnamon bun which was massive, and their milkshakes are too chocolatey. I will return. Thanks.

The manager was super impolite and he was racist with me and my boyfriend. The were talking behind us that we do not know even how to speak english and making fun out of it. I really do not recommend going there. It is not secure for LGBTQ community, foreigners and appently for people that does not speak english.

I really liked this place, its a super chill atmosphere. We had a great night. The food and deserts are really good.
You can rent all smoking tools and devices by the hour. Even rent a rolling tray kit with a grinder, different rolling papers, filters, a lighter and the tray for $4.20
The staff are all super sweet. It's a $10 membership fee to get in and then once your member, its $5 each time.
My only complaint (if I can even callit that) is that the seats are not comfortable.

Membership is a ripoff. I bought a membership last year and they still added the new member fee when I visited last weekend. Also overcharged for other items. Bit of a con, best to avoid

The $10 entry fee is a little stiff, but I assume that's to keep people from just coming in, smoking, and leaving. Otherwise, a great spot with surprisingly good drinks and fantastic service.

Great atmosphere, we enjoyed both the main floor and the lower level during our stay in Vancouver. All of the staff were so friendly. We'll be back!

I was just discriminate against due to my medical status! I have been supporting this business for over 15 years! Bringing people there to advocate for them.buying merchandise and always paying for my stay. I will no longer be supporting this.

What a gem of a spot! I was walking by and felt like a latte. The ambience is so cool, creative and welcoming. Service was super friendly and my vanilla oat milk latte was the best latte I can remember having! They do offer to add some other things appropriate to being a cannabis cafe; however I just had the latte. A very cool place that I will go back to for sure.

Great spaces to imbibe on the green stuff. The levels to this place with each room having a different vibe. We spent our time in the basement lounge which is dark with lots of atmosphere. Plus if ya pay $5, zones can use their well stocked paraphernalia of various shapes & sizes. Great staff, excellent prices surprisingly plus they have a bounty of sweets at the ready for when the munchies begin. Definitely a place to return either on my own or with friends.

I mean, how could you not love this place. I gave em 5 bucks they let me borrow a clean-as-a-whistle bong to enjoy some sweet sweet cheeb! Cool people everywhere. Will be back nightly while in town. Bring your own tho! Dab rigs available too if your into that kinda thing. Of course you are if you're reading this

One of the best coffee shops for more reasons than you'd think. Super helpful positive staff, great Co op vibe and superb coffee sandwiches and treats. You won't regret your visit.

If you want to date someone, bring them in this place. I used to date my friends and loved ones twice or even thrice a week and I am looking for a best place with a great and peaceful atmosphere that would give us comfort and convenience-and I found this amazing place! The staffs, the food and drinks and the amenities were all excellent. My niece ask me that I would take her back in this cafe again because she loved the food that I ordered for her. I was thankful for the great services and accommodation they offered to us. It really met our needs. Thanks!

The staff made me feel comfortable even though I was by far one of the older patrons. It’s a very easy going place and the mocha latte was great.

So great! Plus we were being harassed by some homeless man when a worker stepped in and helped us! We were so thankful and loved every minute!

I've been coming to the 'Dam since I moved to Vancouver. It's a staple of the local DTES community, and a place that everyone should check out. Combination cafe, smoke lounge, and head shop - there's something for every cannabis enthusiast here. Don't expect the fastest service in the world, but the food is good and the shakes are better! During the week you can only light-up after 17: 00, meant to show respect to surrounding businesses who may not appreciate the traveling smoke. There's also a downstairs lounge, which is a bit of a different style. Downstairs is darker, has some couches, and has an exclusive "club" kind of feel to it. Either way, check out the Dam. You'll probably like it.

Love coming here with a friend or family or by myself for a snack even if I'm not smoking. I go out of my way to stop by when I can. Staff is great and the lounges are all super cozy. Thanks y'all!

Small space when busy. Great gift ideas. Friendly atmosphere. First impression, walking in, OMG they're smoking sh** everywhere, this is how the world should be.

The staff is wonderful. A chill place with yummy munchies. Try the baked goods they are always delicious. There is even a lounge downstairs! Always stop in for a coffee or a hot drink and to see the lovely people who hang there.

Staff in the cannabis culture were excellent and on the contrary the Amsterdam caf staff needed better training.

Didn't love the 3rd floor, they treated us poorly since the beginning, but the second is ran by this awesome dude, so nice and helpful. Loved the Volcano!

It's like a coffee bar, there's no heater in the place it can get pretty chilly. You can't smoke anything during workday on the top floor, but you can roll your joints. It cost a minimum of $2 for an hour and a half (top floor) or $5 in the vaping launch (downstairs). The place is not wheelchair friendly. I give only 3 stars because of the heat problem.

Nice place to chill. The food is really testy and the service is friendly. 5 buck per hour totally worth it. They don't sell neither alcohol or weed. Be aware of that.
