Huge portions keep this in mind. Fresh great tasting food. Obviously family run which I love. We had beef noodle soup and crispy chowmein. Delicious

Update: Oct 2023 Felt like I just needed to do a shout out here to Henry, Tein and crew at New Saigon because I forget to give them the credit they deserve. Having just been to a few other shops in last month in various places around the PNW these guys really shine! A definite go to for us and for others we have introduced over the last decade plus here in Abby.

Ordered the special wonton soup with ming ming spicy broth and it was delicious. My new favorite wonton soup in Abbotsford.

Also love their house made iced tea!

My wife won't let me get pho anywhere else because she loves the food so much at new Saigon!

She went to go pick up grub and her phone died, so she couldn't pay, awkward situation was lifted as the people let her charge her phone and sat her for a little bit.

I have a new favorite restaurant in Abbotsford. Sad we only discovered it now. Our lunch was exceptional. I had the Chicken Curry Stew and my friend had the Henry Special. Both were delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try all the other dishes.

I’m still here and had to do a review because the FOOD and SERVICE was impeccable! I had the Henry special with chicken and my partner had spicy seafood pho with chicken it was all amazing clean, fresh and the team here is so sweet definitely coming back THANK YOU!

Have been a few times now, one of the best spots for local Vietnamese! Always tasty and fresh and consistent. A bit of a smaller place, so it's usually busy. Which is to be expected with good food! Cute atmosphere. Great service every visit! Check them out, bet you'll be back if you like Vietnamese!

Had the C2 pho and it was awesome. A must to go place. The salad rolls were fresh and very delicious. Two thumbs up

Henry's pork special is very tasty and reasonable priced. My wife had the chicken special. Both of us enjoyed our meals. A little cold during our meal as the wind comes in with every customer cooling the place down. An active heater would help with that.

Food is great! Best pho broth I've had so far. Spring rolls and super rolls were also great.

My new favorite place, we are looking for hot soup, and I got the best taste ever, the Pho is delicious the next table recommends the Henry special, our first time with Vietnamese flavor and I love it.
Also we got friends, an amazing time, an angel paid our bill as a chain of favor. This was a beautiful day, we received a lot of blessings.

Family run pho restaurant Henry and his family are awesome, always a pleasant experience coming for lunch with friends. I usually get the large pho house special and ice tea.

Have been to this place couple of times. Good menu options, great quality food, good service, bit pricey though for the ambience.

Vietnamese Coffee and Royal Tea are absolutely amazing. Have tried some chicken entrees and those have been great. Food tasted pretty fresh and the portion size was pretty good. Wish they had Lunch portions on the menu. The place apparently has been in business for over 25 years.

It was super vibey restaurant with authentic restaurant interior. The restaurant was packed the whole time we were there, constant people coming and leaving. Super warm food for a cold day. The pho was delicious as well.

As we have been to many vietnamese restaurants, they don’t always speak fluent english, but here everyone could understand english which is great!

The only reason for 4 star is the lack of meat. Even with a large bowl of pho, we barely had 2 tiny pieces of beef and 2 meat balls. It was disappointment on the meat part.

Food was scrumptious, the ingredients were fresh with authentic flavours. I was in love with their imperial spring rolls. They were incredibly crispy! We were impressed and surprised to find such great Vietnamese restaurant in Abbotsford. The only complaint was the long wait for food. There were many online orders.

This our first time eating here. We were looking for soups, and this restaurant was highly rated for them, but once here and looking at the menu, my husband and I decided to try some of their rice dish and spring rolls.
It was oh sooo good, very flavorful, fresh made with love from scratch. The portions were generous, great service, clean, quiet just a nice peaceful mood.
We are definetly going to come back for more.

I ordered the most expensive salad rolls I’ve ever had and noticed the prawns are sliced in half! You get one prawn in a roll

If you're getting the Tofu Hotpot Soup I would recommend asking for noodles in it and the veggie broth.

This is an amazing restaurant with the best food and top notch service. Family owned and run for +25 years. Try the Henry Special…. Named after the owner. It’s amazing…. Well basically everything is amazing. New Saigon will not disappoint.

Today was my first time trying New Saigon! Salad Rolls, Wonton Soup and Henry Special were all very delicious. Very fresh ingredients. Great service. Will be back to try everything else!

First time trying these guys, this is my wife’s account. They name there bun bo hue differently but they still have it. Top knotch. Will be back.

Excellent food and AMAZING service! The owner is very friendly as are the staff. I can’t emphasize how great the food is though. I’ve lived in Abbotsford a long time and feel robbed that I hadn’t been here before.

A long time ago I had a bad experience here. But I can’t help revising my review after my last couple visits where the customer service and food quality exceeded expectations!
Especially when dining take out, going above and beyond makes the experience even more memorable and welcoming.

This little gem has got to have some of the yummiest food around, people are absolutely lovely, the first time I tried take out but the second time I ate in and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. You guys are doing great, we will definitely be back, those little crab cream cheese wonton wraps THE BEST!

Today my body could feel the cold of winter creeping up and just needed a warm bowl of soup to clear those winter time blues. New Saigon Abbotsford did that for us today. The service was good/friendly and the food was great! A definite must try…

I decided to try this place out last night for wonton soup with a side of noodles. I was so disappointed with the size I got, and the soup broth had zero flavor or spice. Even the wontons were bland. I can't believe how bad it was, I seriously could have made better myself. I will never order from here ever again.

They tell the walk in customer's to wait 50 minutes because they have a big order, how do you tell a someone to wait 50 minutes when there is no customers in the place!

Warning! Bad customer service. Do not eat here if food allergies are a concern. I made a order for take out asking them for a tofu meal to be made vegan multiple times with them even repeating my order back to me. I arrived to pay and pickup my order then realizing that I received a chicken meal instead of a tofu. I let the employee know of the mistake and she goes on to tell me that I am wrong and have to just deal with it or pay for another meal.last time going to this place.

This place was very good. The waiter was very friendly and spoke perfect English. The food he recommended was delicious and fresh. Would make this my primary Vietnamese restaurant.

Henry and his family are the best. They are so welcoming and kind. The food is amazing. I recommend Henry’s Special, the prawn salad rolls, the coconut curry stew and the ice tea.yum! Every dish is so fresh and delicious! It’s a lovely place to eat in.when covid restrictions end.or take out. I never have to wait for my take out order. We also enjoyed a birthday dinner and Henry ordered us beautiful dishes. It was fantastic evening. Thank you!

Loved our pho tonight! Ordering online was very easy hade great service at pick up. Delicious broth, high quality toppings and accommodated our special request! I particularly appreciate the high quality packaging as well. Thanks guys! Will definitely be back.

The soup broth is very tasty, however prices are quite high and the portions of meat are VERY very small (about 1/4) compared to most pho places.

This place used to be really good, but something has changed and it has gone downhill the last 2-3 years. They have raised their prices and charge for *everything* (without informing you of the charges), including tea - which most ethnic restaurants offer complimentary.

As the meat portions are so tiny, I generally don't go to this restaurant anymore. However, I was recently in the area and decided to splurge and ordered a house special with "double meat". I was charged an extra $5 - bringing the total to $19.95. They gave me 1 extra meatball. (6 slices of 1/4 - 1/6 meatball, bringing the total meatball content of the soup to less than 2 meatballs). I received the normal tiny amounts of everything else - 1 razor thin half slice of beef, and a pinch of tripe. I called to complain and was told that it was an extra $4 per item, and would have been $12 EXTRA for double meat. I explained I had asked for extra meat, was not told that it would be $5 or that I would only receive 2 meatballs. Management didn't care. (I'm okay with the $5, if it was actually double meat).

There are several pho restaurants in town with near-same quality pho soup, and significantly more generous portions of meat - and at lower prices. Don't waste your money, support reasonably priced restaurants that care for their customers instead. The "Saigon" chain of restaurants are owned by the same family and I have had similar experiences at their other locations. They even charge you an extra fee to order pickup online.

Family friendly. Open for dine in during covid. PLR I panels to separate dining areas. Menu is provided by a QR code at the table. Delicious food and a worthwhile price.

Been trying to find a great place for Pho in Abbotsford and this really hit the spot! The broth is great, meat was beautiful and all the toppings are just fantastic! Can't wait to go back again and try some of the other stuff on the menu!

The beef noodle soup is the best in town. The owner Henry is very nice and the service is great.

This is the BEST vietnamese food in Abbotsford, no questions asked. And of all the places I've tried in Abby, Langley, Surrey, Burnaby and Vancouver, this places ranks top 3. Definitely a must go. If you talk to Henry, you will hear his love for food and his pride and passion is put into every dish, giving it the most wonderful flavour. If I could afford it, I would eat here every day and would not get bored of his beautiful and expertly prepared food. Thank you Henry for continuing to provide such delicious food that feeds my body and soul!

So I’m not really the type to leave a review on a restaurant, but I just had to!
My brother in law and I stumbled across this restaurant totally by chance, and I’m so glad we did!
Hands down the best Pho I’ve ever had, and awesome awesome service! I’m admittedly not very knowledgeable on Vietnamese cuisine, but our server was so patient and even excited to explain everything to me, even with my constant barrage of “what’s this? ”
You can tell that the staff are treated well there, and there’s a lot of passion put into the business. I even saw the owner Henry making the rounds, and found it so cool that he knew the majority of his customers by name.

The restaurant is smaller but beautifully laid out and feels super clean and fresh too, which just totally added to the experience on top of everything else. Presentation was 10/10, staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. This is now officially and forever my go to!

I had never been here until today when I stopped to pick up some gift cards for a work event and WOW.
I believe it was the owner's son who helped me and he was the sweetest. Helpful, friendly and even made me an iced tea to go, free of charge. Amazing customer service and the iced tea is magical. You've won yourself a customer. I can't wait to try the food!

Decent food and the prices are a bit higher compared to Vancouver and the other surrounding cities but I guess its fair due to supplies. The staff were friendly and accommodating. One thing though, they charge for extra lime, basil, sprout and whatnot which I find a bit weird.

I will drive 30 minutes from Surrey to come eat here! The broth is flavourful without being overly salty, the iced coffee is nice and strong and the owners are just simply wonderful people.

This restaurant never fails to produce the best food in Abbotsford, the customer service from Henry is absolutely amazing.
He will remember your order and name even if you don’t come that often which just provides that extra little bit that makes a difference.
The coconut curry stew (D5) is a must order, it’s been the same recipe for 5 years since I’ve been coming and the stew is superb.

Always fresh and delicious meals. We love that there is good variety. Gluten free is a winner for our family. And we love the iced tea! Definitely recommend New Saigon to all of our friends and family.

Second best pho broth in town. First belongs to vila, they are family tho. New Saigon is a bit sweeter but definitely delicious. Spring rolls are however mostly noodles and dry with lack of flavour. Asked for extra onions and only got a few. Super nice owner.

Had Henry's special for lunch and it was delicious! I tried this place as it was so highly rated and I was not disappointed. Very friendly staff and clean inside. Will definitely return:)

I ordered the beef meatball noodle soup. It didn't look appetizing to me at all and I lost my appetite. My husband tasted the meatball and he said it was rubbery and had a really weird texture. My husband had the curry stew and the chicken was fatty and had gristle and it was more sauce than anything else.
Very disappointing!

Stopped in for lunch, got the Henry Special and it did not disappoint. The food was so good with a lot of flavor. Try it out.

The Vietnamese food here are ok, not as good as other Vietnamese restaurants in Metro Vancouver.

The spring rolls look nothing like from their picture. Neither does anything els. Unfortunately I didn’t open my bag till I got home. The spring rolls are charcoal black for the first inch on each ends and middle just tastes like over cooked sausage roll. It’s mostly meat and burnt. I don’t understand why they would wrap that up and give it to me because that’s something That should have gone straight to the disposal at the restaurant and not mine. Its overpriced so I was hoping it’s good but in this case It was NOT.

Wow. Their pho broth is something I have never had. I can taste all the different spices and herbs that they used. It was clean. And Why am I just finding out about Vietnamese ice tea? !? It's delicious! My group really enjoyed their food and the owner Henry, was exceptional!

My favourite place for Vietnamese Food in the Fraser valley. Their hot pot soup is the best I've ever had with so much flavour.

They have the best lean chicken pho and spring rolls! They have a lot of vegetarian options as well. My aunty took me here and got me hooked.

I have been going to this small family run place for several years and the whole family is hands down the nicest folks you will ever meet! The food is absolutely amazing and it shows in his dishes that he full enjoys making each meal the best they offer I have over the years introduced many friends and family the the owners and their kids and they all return for many more meals if it’s not on the menu ask Henry to make it for you if he’s not swamped he’ll be sure to do his best to make you happy! Best place in abby hands down! Thank you he met and Linda for all the hard work and dedication! Love this place!

They were able to accommodate my vegetarian diet outside the normal options on their menu. I was on the search the vegetarian Phõ (which apparently isn't available anywhere in Abbotsford), and when I asked these guys if they could make some, they gladly made some for me (even though it isn't on their menu). Also, I arrived a little late when the kitchen was closed, and the staff was willing to make a batch for me regardless! Food was tasty, but the service went above and beyond for me.
