I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jared at this optometrist and I must say, it was fantastic experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, the exam was thorough and efficient, and the selection of glasses was impressive. I highly recommend visiting Jared and team for eye care needs.

Best eye doctor in the game. Staff were also amazing. Great services. I have seen alots of doctors in my life time but he was the best by a long shot.

Was looking at a place in new west to get new driving glasses after 15 years they fell apart.

I got some google hits and checked them out and New Westminster optometry had lots of genuine and quality reviews

I booked an appointment online quickly and the staff were so great, they made it a painless process.

I paid the optional $45 for the detailed eye exam and it was well worth it, Dr. Jonathan was so great and he gave me WAY more info about my eyes then what I get from one of the top eye specialists (I am diabetic), 3D and color images of my eyes compared to 2D black and white

They direct billed my insurance and msp for part of the glasses and exam costs, I also got progressives and transition darkening, paid about $250 on top of my insurance coverage but this was pretty reasonable based on everything I got, and the optional eye exam.

If you're just looking for the cheapest place to get glasses then go elsewhere but I think they have incredible value for service if you care about your eyes

I went to this shop Tuesday 10 minutes before closing to drop my frame but a staff didn’t allow me to do anything and said ‘we’re closing in 10 minutes. I can’t do anything. Come tomorrow. ’
I said ’I can’t come early tomorrow, you’re closing 5pm. ’
(They open till late only Monday and Tuesday)
But she still said ‘I can’t do anything. ’
I ordered my lens of glasses a day before and I supposed to bring my old frame to make shape of my lens on Tuesday.
I don’t understand why they open until 8pm BUT say
“I can’t do anything? ! ”
On Monday, all staffs were great so I am not complaining for another staffs though.

I took my girls (8 months) in for their first eye exam and it was a great experience. The receptionists were very friendly both in person and on the phone. Booking (and changing my booking) were super easy over the phone. And Dr Thom was knowledgeable and great with kids.

This is a great clinic! Dr. Bjarnason is very friendly and thorough. They don't have a huge selection of frames but they are very knowledgeable and have a huge selection of contacts from a variety of brands. Their service is incredible!

I was very pleased with my experience at Lifetime Eyecare in New West. Dr. Bachra is very professional with just the right touch of humor. The office staff are very pleasant and seem to work as a team. From my examination to walking out the door with glasses I had no issues. Being a member of the Canadian Forces, I was thankful that they were able to work with DND/CAF specific paperwork without issue. I highly recommend Lifetime Eyecare.
