Shannon (the hygienist) is very kind and professional. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything what she is doing. I am really happy to come all the time knowing that I am in a good hands. Also Shweta (the receptionist) very kind, friendly and great customer service. All in all I am happy with the service that I have received so far! Thank you

Terrible establishment. Doesn’t care for patient’s. They messed up a family member of mines filling, now leaving her in excruciating pain. Will not return calls or prioritize fixing their mistake. Not the first time. Terrible customer service. DO NOT GO HERE.

DO NOT GO HERE. Honestly feel like I’m going through hell right now. I went here to get one small filling done that was not causing me any pain but I felt was necessary since I could vividly see it coming on to my front tooth. A younger male dentist does the work on my tooth and about 4 months latter the filling pops out leaving a huge gap and an insane amount of pain. I complained about this and asked for them to get my dentist to fix it. They then informed me that this particular dentist was no longer working with them (?) and they’ll get someone else to fix it for free. It’s now been 6 month of excruciating pain and sensitivity after my second filling and I am now holding a chunk of tooth in my hand once again. My front tooth has been ruined And this establishment should be closed.

The staff is courteous, the hygienist is both proficient and gentle, and the doctors exude confidence while also being gentle. I’ve been with this clinic for almost a decade and always feel like I’m coming home when I visit.

Nice office! Staff are very nice! Doctor is very professional! The front desks help me to check my insurance before my appointment, explained everything in details to me! I will referral my friends here!

Terrible service from the get go and I never got to see a dentist because the receptionist have zero human skills. Bunch of discriminatory practices that go on here at this office from my experience.

A great place if all you need is a dental cleaning. The hygienists here are amazing. I had Shannon and they did a great job on my teeth. The dentist here on the other hand don’t care as much. The dentist looked at my teeth for 0.2 seconds, gave no tips or advice and just left. My hygienist however was amazing and asked me questions and made sure they understood everything I hd issues with. Even gave me some dental supplies at the end.

TL;DR - Don’t go here for the dentist, go only if you need hygienist.

My Mom has a denture since I was young.
She find out her denture getting wrong and that causing a number of problem to her gum.
After Dr. Lee having delicate surgery to her lower gum, Dr. Lee recommended implant OverDenture to her. The minute that my Mom and I walked in the office we felt at home, we found the staff very friendly. We had Dr. Lee look after us. He took the time to explain the procedure for making dentures in my case and he was very thorough.
We will certainly recommend Sedation dental Clinic to our friends.

I gave this clinic to root channel and put crown on two of my teeth. I lost my first teeth after only 2 years and my second teeth became loosed now. I am worried to lose my second one again.

This was a traumatic and horrible dental experience. I chose to go here because I need sedation due to extremely sensitive teeth. I had a crown done a number of years prior by Dr. Lee at his Burnaby office. Dental assistants were good there, I recall. Dr. Lee, did his job. Although, that said, that crown was never quite right. Always continued to be sensitive. Not a great experience but not terrible. This year I went in for a tooth ache at the New West office. The assistant saw me and did not explain what was going on as I underwent an extreme number of X-rays. Then when Dr Lee popped into see me and do the exam, he was rushed and rude. I pointed out which tooth was aching and that I needed a full cleaning when under sedation. He then ended the appointment and didn't explain what was next, the front office staff did. They were extremely confusing - trying to sort out my benefits. Long story short, I went under sedation, that all went well. Went home. Noticed he'd done the tooth NEXT to the one I had complained about. Sure, likely they both needed doing eventually. And, the front desk assistant told me that they only did 1/2 of the cleaning and I'd have to come back for the other half! Dr Lee was rude and dismissive when I returned for the fitting of my permanent crown and mocked me for saying he'd done the incorrect tooth. NO ONE communicates at this office. I had no idea what was going on. The fit of the permanent crown was so excruciating and he was so rough that I ended up with an excruciating jaw and headache for weeks afterwards and numbness down my arm! I was so traumatized by it, I could not even call the office or see him again. The tooth he did do has never really settled down and I wonder if something went wrong with the fit or the root canal by the way he and his assistant behaved at the fitting. More X-rays, no explanation and I was moaning in pain as he wrenched my jaw and head around. I had to pay my acupuncturist and massage therapist afterwards to try to recover. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE OR DR LEE AT ALL. And the confusion over the benefits was never really resolved or explained. Horrible service.

My consultation for a wisdom teeth extraction was very quick (about 10 mins). He did not explain what to expect or how the procedure would be done. He showed me my x-ray but did not explain anything and instead gave me a pamphlet regarding prep for my procedure. The whole time he seemed very nonchalant and dismissive. On extraction day, he left me waiting about 45 mins from my booked time to see me and once he arrived, immediately put me under. After the removal of 2 lower wisdom teeth, I woke up to see no doctor but the dental assistant instead. The doctor did not tell me how the procedure went and the assistant handed me a paper of aftercare instructions as well as my prescriptions. By day 3, the swelling on the left side of my face began to dissipate, however the right side began to get worse. By day 5, I was in excruciating pain and was admitted into the ER to have an abscess removed. I am very disappointed with my experience with this doctor and it left me traumatized. Please, I urge you to research your oral surgeon. Even if they were referred to you.

Best dentist and staff ever! I am so afraid of the dentist and this place helps to put my mind at ease at every restoration appointment. Highly recommend.

Having a busy schedule at work, I have a hard time scheduling appointments, but they are accomodating and patient. Friendly staff and clean facility

Impecable service, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable they do all the insurance stuff for you directly. They also send reminders for follow-up appointments.

They’re great but they constantly try and change appointments a day before. Very annoying and it’s the reason I switched.

Wife and I both went in for a cleaning today. Our appointments are always right on time with no waiting.
Wife is in a wheelchair and they are so helpful and patient with her.

Dr. Lee and his colleague Lily did a great job today. There was a third person but I did not get her name.

It is not often you can leave a dentist chair with any other review than uggghh.

On time, quick and efficient.

Atten: ppl who don’t like dentists or have a phobia or anxiety response to dentist’s. Dr. Tom. Lee & his team are great! They made me feel comfortable & most of all “SAFE”. Most don’t realize how much of the population has some sort of fear of dentists’. This clinic is great, clean & super professional. Dr. Tom Lee is very thorough, to the point and has the latest tools & training for modern, pain free professional dentistry. I highly recommend Dr. Tom Lee & his team for all and anyone, especially those who have extreme bouts of anxiety when it comes to Dentists’. Thanks for making me feel safe, comfortable and cared for. It’s nice to have a Dentist or Dr that doesn’t let you feel like “just a number”.)

I've been waiting for 2 yrs for them to fix my teeth. I've been approved since January 31st for my bridge and crowning. They haven't even called me back just made me go through root canals then to avoid my calls all together. Charging my medical for sedation I haven't even got! Don't come to this place! Now they want $600 from me to get sedated. Crooks!

I am really nervous when it comes to dentists but Dr. Lee was made my experience by easy and all the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Front staff has a great service. I Would definitely recommend this place!

I have been going there since they open. They were ok. This time i got Tom Lee dentist and i was told i had 1 cavity but needed work on 12 teeth.i have good teeth.i went for a second opinion not only did they lie about the cavity (i told them i had sensitivity) but all of my dental work is fine and None need replacing. Its not because we have insurance that they should order useless work to get insurance money. Avoid and find an honest dentist and save your teeth useless drilling.

Fillings chipped twice. Didn’t get a receipt of one of the payment. Overcharged by a lot for cleaning. They were never clear on how much it’s going to cost.

I want to give you guys.   Actually I have been ignored my dental problems during this pandemic for over 2yrs. I don't like to see a dentist either, but My right back molar started killing me. When I came here, I was so surprised that there were friendly receptionists and they treated me with amazing care and with a perfect explaining my priority. And Dr. Lee, he is amazing. During the extraction, I didn't feel any pain! And It took only 10minute! Now I'm so happy and Thank you for all:)

I had a bunch of work done through these guys recently and was blown away at how well they all worked together. So skilled. They know exactly what they are doing and their attention to detail is unbelievable. They constantly asked how I was doing during the procedure.making it very obvious they were aware there was a human at the end of the drill. I love you guys very much. Thank you all so much for your dedication to your practice. Whoever does the hiring here knows what's up.

Great work by the team, took really good care of the bridge! Great quality all around. Also helped immensely sorting coverage with the benefits provider.

I read the negative reviews but still decided to give them a shot. Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. The dental team here is not attentive they will give you a quote for everything possible and say you need it all done ASAP. They do not tell you what is most important, they go over everything you "need" to get done and leave you with the receptionist to figure it out.

I have dental anxiety and have not visited a dentist in 2 years. The the dentist here was pushing me to get all this work done and get 4 wisdom teeth out, even though they were not bothering me. When I asked if I could wait until my coverage resets in January, he rudely responded with "well you've waited this long". The dentist was also pushing me for IV sedation (for cleaning and fillings) when I insisted I didn't need it.

I decided to try another dental office and I am so happy that I did! The new office came up with a plan for the work I needed to get done and for the stuff that could wait. I was able to do cleaning and fillings with freezing- no IV sedation required.

Amazing Dental office with great staff and Dentist. I highly recommend getting the treatment done by Dr. Joshi. During treatment, he always made sure that I am comfortable and kept checking in with me. After my wisdom teeth extraction, I neither had much pain nor swelling. I am immensely satisfied with the treatment provided by Dr. Joshi.

Wanted to extract wisdoms and do fillings on my 20 year old daughter that were, after a third consultation absolutely unnecessary.
They provided no visuals of the x-rays, did not explain anything, and proceeded to bill her for UNNECESSARY work.
This was realized after she sought x2 diagnostics later on.
Absolutely disgusted with this treatment.
Not only did they try to take advantage of my daughter with misleading information, but in my opinion, if I hadn't intervened, would have practised FRAUD.

My experience at Sedation Dentistry is always amazing! I really enjoy the ambiance. The office is very professional, yet friendly looking. The staff (Front Desk, Assistants, Hygienists, Dentists and Surgeons) are extremely knowledgeable, patient and caring in their approach. My dad's new dentist Dr Chen is really gentle and was very nice to him, even though my dad's English is not good, Dr Chen was very patient and explained everything. The fillings were also very well done and my dad has no more toothaches! Thank you Dr Chen!

Horrible receptionist due to covid my boyfriend was sick an she told him due to him not making that appointment then tells me she needs a doctors not for today as she wanted him to get one okay so you clearly don't know the new rules that you do over the phone consults you can't just walk into places he wasn't aloud to go there an then continued to be rude thats not a fair policy an i don't recommend going here they have maybe one good lady who does teeth but they have left so many problems on other teeth they worked on I will be finding a new dentist an they are over priced

The front desk receptionist was very friendly when helping me book my first appointment! The dentist whom I met, Dr. Kim, was also very kind and well informed. I would highly recommend this office!

Recently had my cleaning done by very friendly & experienced Hygienist Harjit. Had a wonderful experience with Highly professional front desk staff. Want to come again here and recommends my friends too. Thank you New west sedation dental for making my visit remember able. Thank you so much for reminding me about my appointments 2 weeks prior, 2 days prior.

Went in for 6 fillings and they ended up doing 8 fillings without my consent. Imagine my surprise when i came out and they told me the cost. They maxed out my insurance right then and there. The worst part is the fillings are done in a rush. 8 fillings in an hour. My chin bruised up for a week and some of thr fillings were not done properly. I went back there 3 more times have it fixed. But he only re-shaped the filling, didn't bother to investigate further for the pain and sent me away after 10 min.the pain never goes away.

How can they used up all my coverage and still leave me in pain. I've been going to this dental office for the past 5 years. I think the owner must have change because all the staff I was familiar with are gone, and this place has become so profit obsessed. I'm switching.

Whatever you do, don't get Dr. Lee. He was never there, only there twice a month. So when you were in pain, you cannot go back right away. Unless you wanted to see a difference doctor and paid the cost. Only the same doctor who did your teeth can fix it without a cost.

Lovely staff and dentists! I especially like both the hygienists, thumbs up for Ms Harjit and Mr Jay Kim. The office is always clean and inviting, they will offer me a blanket when I'm cold and give me a huge bag of dental goodies after, full of toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth rinse, floss and everything I need <3 Thanks guys!

I work at a dental office, I had called to request for xrays for a patient that was going to start coming to our office. The receptionist was very rude. I told her that I didn't receive the xrays but she kept insisting that she sent them. I asked if she could resent them and she wasn't very happy. Finally when I received them there was a bunch of numbers at the bottom of them xrays I wasn't sure of the date. I called them back again, the receptionist was very rude and said that I should look carefully at the bottom of the xray. I don't understand why would you not be kind enough just to give the information requested instead be very difficult about it. That was very unprofessional of her to do so. She should perhaps go back to school and take the receptionist course all over again.

I LOVED MY VISIT! I met Dr Chen on my first visit, she was soo lovely, she treated me as if i was her family. When i came back to this office for my cleaning appointment I met Dr Kim, who was extreme knowledgeable and caring! Dr Kim also has an Australian accent ;P A+ service and team!

Was going here for over two years but have since decided to go elsewhere after being cancelled on twice in a row. Over the course of a month, I tried to book a cleaning appointment but due to no longer living in the area and working downtown, I was limited on what appointments I could take. The second cancellation just instigated my need to go somewhere that was more convenient for me. I’m not sure if my experience has anything to do with the major changes in staff this year but prior to all this, I had no issues with this office/former staff.

Went to this dental office just because it was so convenient for me but they are definitely more than a location! I have been with them few years now and I actually really like the new management even better! The doctors are amazing! Met Dr Chen, Dr Kim and Dr Shin on different check-ups and they all are very professional, ethical, well-equipped and extremely patient oriented doctors. Dr Chen spend her time with me to explain all of my questions and was really patient with me at every aspect. I had quite a few fillings needed to be done and I probably have seen three of them on different appointments and they all are very gentle and patient. None of my fillings were sensitive afterwards which was what i was experiencing with previous doctors that were done. Im honestly happier with new stuff. Front desk is amazing with helping with appointments, have great communication skills, always very cheerful, and they always on top of their work. The new hygienist was very kind and and understanding with my dental anxiety. I heard from front desk that she was running through her lunch just so she could make me feel better. She definitely did an amazing job with cleaning if not better than i have ever had before. She even did an oral cancer screening which none of the previous hygienists did. The whole office definitely working towards patients best interests! It’s hard to a good office these days where many offices cut corners and use insurances as tool of their treatment. Definitely recommending this office! My kids and my husband is also very pleased with overall service as well. Lots of goodies too:)

Massive staff changeover in the last few months has left me and my family hanging high and dry. Saw the writing on the wall when, all of a sudden, was having to wait almost an hour for my SCHEDULED appointment. Oldest son was nearing the end of prepaid orthodontic care and, since they had asked his orthodontist to leave, just cancelled upcoming appointments with no offer to finish off what we had already paid for. Definitely has gone from patient oriented to profit oriented. Nothing wrong with making profits as long as the patients still get care. Will never recommend this office or any of their other four locations to anyone.

I recently got two of my wisdom teeth extracted I was nervous at first but during the process Dr. Lee made me feel very comfortable. I expected the recovery to be tough, but it was surprisingly painless and quick. I highly recommend this clinic. Thank you Dr. Lee and staff for the great service!

My close friend recommended me to go to this dental office because I had a little discomfort feeling with my tooth. So I’ve done cleaning and they found out that I need to have a night guard. After using it, I could not feel any pain. I’m very satisfied with their diagnose and procedures!

It’s been about three years since I came here. Staff are always friendly and aware of my treatment plans. I also been to another branch to get my wisdom teeth extraction done under IV sedation by Dr. Lee. And now, Dr. Lee comes here as well so that I can get any dental treatment or oral surgery under IV here by him. And it is always clean. Strongly recommend this office.

Worst experience I’ve had ever. Dr. Wong is NO LONGER THERE and Ben. The NEW OWNERS HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PATIENCE FOR THE old patients they are RUDE & Dr. Kim is an idiot doesn’t have any Patience what so ever, his license should be revoked. If you know where Dr. Wong or Ben are please contact me.

Worst and shocking behaviour by the girl at the front desk, she is arrogant, rude and unprofessional. She yelled at me saying that they charge me extra if i cancel the appointment, first of all i made an appointment with my dentist who was absoluetly great but my dentist was never there on that day i had to reschedule it, the adminstration is worse. They disrespect people, they over charge people without letting them know DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE i have consulted my legal team regarding it and i will make sure these guys license is revoked, i am going to talk to BC Health Services as well they disrespected me, over charged, they do frauds with patients by taking extra money, the Manager i talked to Kim was so biased, he said he will do an investigation but i already know his answer. I am going to get in contact with their owner Tom Lee and take it further on Social Media about this. Better get yourself a good lawyer.

I love this office. It is beautiful, very clean and their technology and equipment is state of the art. I have had great feedback from friends I have referred to this practice in the past. The practitioners and staff are professional and have years of experience and offer all disciplines of dentistry. The location is also very convenient to access. I would have no hesitation in recommending this office to anyone in the future.
