I like having my cuts at newport, the barbers are cool and there's always great music playing in the background. Also great for kids:)

Wow, no one in the shop. All the barbers out front Vaping and I get told there all booked for the day. That’s ok I’ll never be back!

Ash cut my hair and he was so nice, great to talk to and he cuts hair super well, I highly recommend him.

Jeff has been cutting my hair for years now, and though I've gone through many different styles, he will always hit it out of the park, and always with a hilarious story to tell. He is one of the most experienced barbers out there, and knows what he's doing. Props to Jeff, and anywhere that he has a chair is lucky to have him!

Jeff is a master of his craft. Great tunes and great cuts, this barber shop is a clean, well maintained, and AIR CONDITIONED. Quick and efficient, it's well worth the trip. Thanks Jeff and team, I'll be back.

Great shop, good experienced folks work here, and do an excellent job, on hair, beards, and good old fashioned shaves. Rial gave me my last trim and did so with excellent results. BTW I drive from North Vancouver to get my Grooming done in this shop. Highly recommended. Ask for Rial.

Very professional and friendly. I needed to get new headshots. Jeff was able to give me a flexible hairstyle that could easily be combed in a number of different ways. Extremely useful for actors.

Great vibes and a great cut, used to come to the shop a long while back before moving out of the area just moved back gave them a try, did not regret it, dug the shop's new decor and everyone working there seemed to be having a great time, great feeling all around. Cut was quick and looked great and the cost is on par with the other local shops, will be making Newport my regular barber now I'm back in Port Moody.

Went in for a beard trim. My previous experiences at other barbers had left my beard badly shaped, so I was a little nervous. I let Jeff know this and he made me feel at ease with his knowledge and experience. Jeff trimmed and shaped my sides along with my moustache and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend Jeff for his bearding services!

Great time at an old school barber. Jeff was funny and I had some good chuckles in his chair. After cutting my own hair during Covid I feel way better about my look now that I can see a real pro. Good job, you made a regular.

My first visit and Jeff did a great job. I was unhappy with my previous shop due to lax covid practices and a generally indifferent attitude. What a great change.
Jeff recommended a slight change to my normal haircut and I think it turned out much better. My wife says so too. I look forward to going back and supporting a local business.

This place is great. They got me in right away and Greg did an awesome job! I had a bit of a hair emergency and he got me cleaned up and explained everything as he went. Definitely put my mind at ease. I'll be back for sure!

Newport Village Barber's is awesome. The Guys here are not only super friendly but fun and make you feel like you're their best customer.

Used to go here pre-covid but walked past recently and staff was vaping in the shop without masks. Would not suggest this place if you have health issues.

Very happy with the service. We have been clients for over 10 years, my husband and three sons. My husband is bold now, but my teenagers still use their services. Highly recommended.

Used to love this barber shop, not sure where all the great people went. My boyfriend came home and I couldn't help but notice the bald spot they shaved into his now uneven nape.

This barber is by far the worst. I went in requesting a simple trim and the guy botched my hair up. I wanted a simple men’s cut, I have short hair but it was getting long around the ears. He kept wetting my hair over and over and then cutting patches of it off. He had no idea what he was doing, and by the end of it, I looked TERRIBLE. I was charged $40 for this mess. I will never be returning.

Today was my son and my first visit to this salon/barbershop. We were blown away with how hospitable and kind each of the stylists were — and are extremely grateful to have had Veronica cut our 2 year old son’s hair. Thank you all at Newport Village Barbershop for an amazing experience for our little one.

I have been here before for my son's haircut but this was my first time experience with Italia F.which was not pleasant at all. She was very unfriendly and disrespectful (did not even say hello to us!). Do not recommend her at all especially for kids haircut

First visit, had the pleasure of sitting in Rodney's chair. We chatted about everything from this crazy world we're currently living to my excessive dry scalp, with some tips. Was a great experience, and will soon be back for a trim.

First time getting a walk-in haircut here, decided to try it out based on proximity and reviews. I was taken in almost right away.
Needed a quick fade before taking wife and family out for her birthday dinner.
Rodney my barber was great, very attentive, quick and friendly.
Would've definitely given 5 stars if the price for a mens cut was around the mid to even high $20 dollar range instead of the mid 30s.

Absolutely amazing cuts made by all of the staff. I’ve been here at least 3-4 times with new barbers and have been impressed each time. Only complain i have is the pricing. In my opinion, it is a tad bit overpriced. Other than that, this is probably the best Barbershop for Men in all of Coquitlam and Port Moody.

Phoned the night before asking if they take walk ins. The person on the phone said yes. Went in the next morning at opening time and was asked if I had an appointment. When I said I was a walk in, I got the largest eye roll I hve ever seen in my life. Good thing there is a different barber down the street.

Got a great haircut here. It is a little pricier than some other haircuts, but you get what you pay for here.

My son had a fantastic haircut. The hairdresser showed him styling options, explained what she was doing & even showed him how to trim his own bangs. $25! Highly recommend

She was so patient with my 4 yr old son to help him remain relaxed. She also took the time to recommend a good hairstyle for his type of hair (cowlick in the back) I can't wait to go back and have her cut my hair too!

I have been here several times and Julia always does a great job with my hair & beard. Everybody I have spoken with is very friendly and they have a nice, clean shop even with the smaller space.
