Great service experience for a dishwasher and fridge servicing. Amin is an excellent tech, great to have in our home and will be my go to person for appliance repairs

The team disassembled my dryer, found the problem promptly, replaced the part, and reassembled the machine for a test while I waited. They're the only number I'll call for future appliance repairs. They mentioned that they service washers, dryers, dishwashers, fridges, and garburators.

Very happy with our service from Amin. He came the same day we called to fix an older model dryer with a broken belt. Luckily he had the part as it’s now discontinued. He is friendly and knowledgeable, and completed the repair quickly. Highly recommend!

The service member and his assistant are outstanding. He took extra time to explain my washing machine's options and was quite accommodating with regard to arranging servicing. Called Amin on Sat and he was in my place promptly on Monday morning. Cleaned my fridge's drain pipe quickly to fix the water leak problem. He also helped me reset the fridge settings. Very professional and courteous. Job well done Amin. Thank you. I will definitely recommend him to my friends.

Amin and Ben were very helpful. My fridge/freezer will still need to get replaced but they helped buy me some time. I appreciate them coming to help and for being honest in their assessment.

Saw some good reviews here so gave it a try. Told Amin about my dryer that wouldn’t start. Based on the details I gave him, he came the next morning bringing along a replacement knob. Well he got it right! He replaced the knob and problem’s fixed in a flash. Thanks!

Torrential rain storm (Mar 5 2021) didn’t slow Paul the repair tech down - was on time, polite and prepared. Had our KitchenAid up and running in no time. I will definitely use these guys again.

When the original New Tech repair technician couldn't make it to our appointment because of car trouble, Amir (I think he runs the business) came himself. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our oven, and he had the part with him so nothing had to be ordered. The repair was also fast and professional. Apparently, our oven hadn't been working properly for some time. It's working great now! We will definitely contact New Tech if we have appliance problems in the future.

Amin was great. Got our oven working great again, and even fixed the burner that had been acting up for a few years. Professional and really efficient.

Great experience. They came the next day to look at our washer, found it was the inverter board that needed to be replaced, gave a quote at end of visit for repair but recommended it's probably better to just buy a new one even though they don't make any money off new ones - therefore I found they were honest. Although they didn't do a repair for me, I give them 5 stars for being Professional, communicating well, and for being honest.

Great experience with Newtech. We have 2 ovens in our townhouse and they both had stopped working. (One had never worked right) Amin was fast and easy to schedule with. He came to diagnose the issues and ordered the parts the same day. The parts arrived after a few weeks and he came back to install. He handled everything! And overall it ended up being cheaper then what was quoted. Really great service. So glad to have a working oven again!

I called for a dryer repair. From the call for the service and repair I have to say it was phenomenal. The technician Rohet arrived when he said he would he explained the repair thoroughly. Rohet did the repair and now our dryer works great again. I would not hesitate to use this company for any appliance repair neeeded. The prices are very reasonable. I phoned Newtech at 1: 42 p.m. To explain my problem with my LG fridge (pinging noises for 3+ days, plus hoarfrost in freezer) and by 2: 30, Amin had arrived! Wonderful fast service, despite it being Monday, the busiest time for repairmen. Problem was fixed very quickly, as he had the correct new relay start capistor, and replaced it without problem. He seemed extremely knowledgeable about this particular model, and reassured me that it would be good for several more years.
No worries about Covid as we were both wearing masks and maintained social distancing.

Called Newtech when my Samsung dryer started making horrible noises then stopped working. Called in the evening and Amin came the next morning. He was very respectful wearing a mask and keeping distance. The part for my dryer wasnt easily available but we found it and 2 days when it came in, it was fixed! His pricing was fair and the repair was quick!

Today was the third time we have called Amin and as with the previous two responses, the service was excellent. Our fridge stopped “keeping our wine chilled” and when we called Amin, he was here within 15 minutes, identified the problem and had a new control board installed in a matter of minutes. He is always professional yet friendly and he is first on the call list for appliance repair.

Just had my dryer repaired by Amin. He went above and beyond to show up between my newborn nap schedule, and worked quickly to diagnose and resolve the issue. I've kept his card and number to pass to all my friends should they need help! Thanks again Amin.

Came right away, had expert advice and saved me from buying a new oven. Have repaired all my appliances in the past. Knowledgeable and very honest, which is why I would highly recommend!

I am not impressed.we have a top load washer that started shaking at the spinning cycle.we got the machine new 4 or 5 years ago and it just started to shake. I watched some youtube clips on how to fix the balancing springs on a washer and determined that I'd let a professional do the job.well, this guy showed up, pushed a few buttons on the machine, spent 5 minutes watching the tub spin on empty and then gave me an invoice for $81 for the service call and told me that the machine is beyond repair. He was here for less than 15 minutes. I will not ever call these guys again! If I could give zero stars, I would. Now they replied back and advised that they had told me that the machine could be repaired but it would cost more than buying a new one. I consider repairing something at a cost greater than buying a new one "beyond repair"

Ultimately what I take a big issue with is this: The guy showed up, spent 5 minutes looking at the machine and pushed a few buttons on the instrument panel. He didn't use any tools.just pushed a button, looked at it and told me it could be repaired but would cost more than a new one (which I consider "not worth repairing) and charged me $ 81.00. Frankly, I could make a decent living by sticking a "repair and service" sticker on my car and showing up at peoples houses to inspect their broken appliances and just tell them "it's too expensive to repair" and bill them $ 81.00 for a 15 minute so called inspection. I am very frustrated.total waste of time and money.

I used the services of Newtech Appliance Repair, specifically Amin, several times. First, it was my old fridge a few years ago. Amin came, quickly identified the problem, fixed it, and the fridge has been working since then (knock on wood). Another time, it was our oven. Same procedure - I've called Newtech, got the next day appointment, Amin came, found the problem, fixed it, and the oven is still alive and kicking. Later on, I had another minor problem with my oven (it's an old one, so not surprising). Amin came but was unable to find the problem. He did not charge me for that visit. But the most amazing part was when he called me the other day and asked if he could come again to check one more point which he suspected could have been the cause of the problem. He came, checked, but that point turned out to be OK. Amin did not charge me for that visit, either. This is an indication of honest, reliable business with superior customer service who cares about its customers. I would recommend Amin for everyone who needs their appliances to be fixed at an affordable price.

As you can imagine, with a full fridge/freezer, my anxiety was high when it stopped working.

I called Newtech at 730am and they were at my house before 930am. They had the parts and fixed my fridge right away. Bye bye anxiety.

My Whirpool front-loading washing machine was displaying an F06 error code and it would not engage into the spin cycle. After Googling, it was suggested that the carbon brushes on the motor were most likely worn out. I found a YouTube video showing how to check/replace.

I contacted Reliable Parts (un-reliable IMO) and brought the brushes to them. They said that these brushes are NOT sold separately and the whole motor would have to be replaced ($200-500). While discussing this with them I searched and found online retailers (including Walmart.ca, Amazon.ca) that sell the brushes for $15 however they needed to be ordered. Thanks un-Reliable Parts.

I called 4 local appliance repair shops and they said they would not sell the brushes without service. I ended up calling Amin @ Newtech and he said he could sell me new brushes for $64. More expensive than Walmart but he had them available. Amin met me in a parking lot, explained my issue and he concurred that most likely the brushes needed replacing. He said if it doesn't work then the motor would have to be replaced and he said he could get me a good price on it.

Anyways, Amin did not push service on me and just sold me the parts. I told him that I would definitely use his service if I could not fix it myself.

The technician, Shiraz who serviced my Kenmore fridge did an excellent job of replacing the electronic board, the drain hose, etc.in a little over 30 mins.to resolve the defrost problem as well as the blocked drainage problem. Almost threw out my 9 year old fridge to buy a new one, but glad I got it repaired for much less money. He told me my old fridge was well built (in the States) compared to a lot of new ones which tend to have problems within a few years. Allen.

Our Whirlpool washing machine died on us on the Victoria Day weekend. I called around and Amin responded immediately and I had an appointment the very next day. He quickly assessed the problem, had the part and repaired it in 20 minutes. Fast efficient and a fair price. I will definitely use this company again. Awesome!

When our refrigerator broke down, Amin was able to quickly come swap out the broken part. I was happy with his rates as well. Great experience.

Our 2012 Samsung fridge started gather water in the bottom of the fridge under the crisper drawers. Our previous owner had gotten 2 services from Newtech for other issues, and also after reading great reviews, I called Newtech, and Amin was very knowledgeable and knew what was wrong. He came to our place with all necessary parts so that we could save $ by not having him come by twice. He also gave a quick call 5 minutes before his arrival. He was prompt to fix the issue and professional. I would definitely recommend him and I already gave his number to my family members.

Newtech Appliance was quite professional. Amin, the technician, knew exactly what was wrong with the washing machine and repaired it in no time. Has had no trouble since. He has repaired several of our appliances whitin the past few years and we’ve never had any trouble after. I highly recommend him for fast and efficient service that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!

Amin was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He went to work right away and within moments was able to determine the problem and after ordering a part returned the next day as scheduled and completed the job. He even checked for a leak in my dishwasher that was beyond the clothes washer and dryer repair and didn't even charge for his time. I even received a senior discount. I wouldn't ever call these guys again. The tech seemed "OK" but not overly knowledgable. It turns out he mis-diagnosed the issue with my fridge for one thing, but regardless it simply needed to be repaired.

My 2 primary concerns was the high cost relative to the other company we had used, and really he didn't do any diagnosis, just said "this is the problem, please pay $X to fix" I'm still considering whether I have to call someone else to re-diagnose my stove or not.

I also didn't enjoy how pushy the guy answering the phone was.

Your mileage may vary, but I'm definitely not calling again. I wish I was more suspicious of these boilerplate praise posts below as I am now looking back through why I choose Newtech to start.

We paid for another company to fix the stove. The newtech technician was flat out wrong!

Incompetent and overpriced. There's no way most of these reviews are legitimate.

EDIT: NewTechs response is also false. I did call and was not offered any of their remediation. Caution on their reviews as they are i believe they are manipulated.

We were impressed with Newtech Appliance Repair and their immediate call to action when our dryer was malfunctioning due to long wear n tear rust ring around its drum. Amin installed new ring with ease/execution providing clean rust free clothes from now on——

I do not normally post comments online about vendors but I feel that newTech deserves some praise for their service. I purchased my house over 10 years ago and have nothing but positive comments how they provide consultative information/recommendations, good pricing and efficient service. Repairs include my fridge, dryer and washing machine. Highly recommend

Amin did a great job fixing my fridge. He had a prompt reply to my call and fixed my fridge with a fair price. I do recommend him.

This guy sold me a used dishwasher. It didn't work. He ripped me off. This was a used appliance from his home. When I called him to make it right he was going to charge me for a call out. He assured me that this dishwasher worked.
