NexGen Hearing

A few weeks ago, my ear got clogged due to water from the shower. I made the mistake of trying to deal with it using oil and a Q-tip (which I now know using a Q-tip was a big mistake!). Unfortunately, the situation worsened over time, and I couldn't see my GP. On the other hand, my insurance wouldn't cover the expenses of seeing an ear specialist. Feeling frustrated and annoyed with a clogged ear and a mild headache, I desperately searched Google for a solution. That's when I came across Mainland Hearing, and I was pleasantly surprised by their reasonable fee for wax cleaning.

I quickly booked an appointment for a few days later, and they advised me to use a few drops of olive oil in my ear daily. When the day finally came, I visited the clinic with high hopes of getting rid of the annoying ear issue. Hemin checked my ear and skillfully removed the wax in about 5 minutes. The process was smooth and painless, and I was so happy to be able to hear clearly from both ears again!

Hemin was incredibly friendly and patient throughout the process. Despite my slight head movement, he used another method patiently to clean the remaining wax. He even shared some great tips on how to take care of my ears while showering. It's been almost a week and a half since the cleaning, and my ear returned to its normal state within the first hour.

I was struggling with my ears for a long time, so I decided to go for a check-up as I knew it was due to the ear wax.
I went there as a walk-in in Burrard Street. The receptionist was so nice and helpful.
Hemin is a professional and knowledgeable specialist who has a high work ethic.
And the most important part is they're working on Saturdays that is really helpful for those who are working the whole week.

It was a great surprise to have found this place. As mexican foreigners it was complicated staying here in Canada but the stellar attention we received from all the staff and mostly Dr. Hemin Amir Alimadi made it all worth it. I would recommend this place with all certainty to whoever is considering coming.

He provided us with all of our options and allowed us to make an informed decision. He does not rush you and kept repeating all information until he ensures you learned. So much respect for him.

I've been to NexGen a few times now and the team has always been amazing. Dr. Soltani has always been careful in performing the procedure that I need for my ears and I will certainly recommend NexGen to anyone. Also, I got my hearing test super fast, it didn’t take more than 15 min.

I was trying to book a special hearing test which would cost me 250 dollars. But Leah suggested that I did a free initial hearing test and consultation first.

Leah, and the hearing test staff, as well as the office staff are nice, professional and helpful.

The free initial hearing test and consultation took half hour. Leah suggested that my initial hearing test result was fine and I did not need the special tests or hearing instruments for now. But if later on, I need any of these, they will be there to help too.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Soltani. I received excellent care to alleviate my issue, and was also given great advice as to how to prevent future issues. Was also offered for additional check-ups to make sure I remain in good status, and I truly felt cared for as a patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Soltani's clinic to any friends or family.

I’m a happy returning customer on my second visit! First visit at the North Vancouver location removed a lot of ear wax which was super helpful! This time I didn’t have much so I was checked but not charged. Going back for a free hearing test to investigate another issue. Very impressed with this clinic!
