NexGen Hearing

Terrible experience with the current Hearing Instrument Practitioner at HearingLife, in Jericho Plaza, 4th & Alma, Vancouver. I found Susheela Baru to be dour, terse & insulting, & she gave me the most perfunctory hearing test I've ever had. I had been attending this clinic since 2015 and the 3 previous clinicians were great. I was ready to spend $6000+ on new hearing aids, but shall not be giving this company my business any more and have found a private audiologist who is lovely. I have since learned that several others patients have also transferred away from this HearingLife branch due to similar experiences with Ms. Baru.

If your just looking for a replacement part or minor repair but not the pressure sales pitch, then ok. Hearing test etc all good. But they are on the business of selling (expensive) hearing aids. At a massive mark-up. So if your on the market for a new or first time Aid. Go to Costco.or at least check them out. Half price for same equipment.

Excellent professional service from audiologist Susan Flynn and her receptionist Karina.great team. I was impressed with their professional care during COVID-19.

Great staff. Very polite and professional. Verna explained the whole process before and after the testing. Sinead at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

After considering many brands and locations to improve my hearing I finally chose Nexgen Hearing in their Kitsilano office in Vancouver B. C. I am so happy to having done so because this office offers the perfect balance between a very good high tech product and a magnificent team: Ms. Verna Lee (Registered Practitioner) and Ms. Sinead Waters (Client Care), they are just awesome! They are very knowledgeable, with good disposition and high customer service orientation, always willing to go the extra mile. The team is readily available to respond promptly whenever it is needed. Keep up with the good work!

Verna is wonderful, as was her receptionist Sinead. I felt so welcomed every time I was in the office. Sinead even realized it was my birthday and gave me a card! Small touches like this are rare. Verna went through everything in detail, I knew all my options and what was going on. Could not recommend more.

Sinead (Receptionist) is delightful to speak with on the phone and very friendly and courteous upon arrival at the clinic.

Verna (Audiologist) is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. During visits, she is able to answer all my questions and more, with detailed explanations.

Very professional approach and knowledgeable staff. No pushy sales person getting you to buy the hearing aids.first priority is to test your hearing.all good!

I would like to share my wonderful experience at NexGen Kitsilano. Dr Katarina went to great lengths to make sure that my hearing needs were met. I am so grateful for all that she has done for me. My life is so much better now that I can hear everything.

Highly recommended. Excellent service. Friendly and professional staff. The top-of-the-line hearing aid is amazing and well worth the expense.
