Nicklaus North Golf Course

Had such a good experience golfing and dining here throughout the summer, I decided to come back in the winter. Outstanding service at the bar from Shane and Justine, glass was never empty, food was 10/10. Highly recommend year round!

This was an incredible golf experience. The design is very fun and challenging in a good way. The course was in great shape. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. It was cold, windy, and rainy and I shot a 106 because I could barely get a grip on my clubs by by golly was it the most fun golf experience I ever had. Free unlimited range balls, free pull carts, free tees, free towels for the rain. I bought a Golden Bear Nicklaus North hat at the clubhouse and the nice lady working there even offered to take the tags off. A true class VIP feel all around. First golf course I've been to where the starter was actually friendly and didn't kick my round off with a sour mood. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Whistler. (Perhaps in summer though when the weather is better)

Had a rude experience from an employee here when I simply asked him if the bag he had was my friend's bag. It put a bad taste in my mouth the rest of the game. The cart had some garbage in it from the last game and the digital screen thats supposed to tell you info on the holes, froze on hole 4.

Other than that the golf course is well groomed and fun to play

I'm a local wedding planner in the Sea to Sky corridor, Love & Confetti, and we recently did a winter wedding at Nick North. Danielle, the Catering & Events Manager was such a pleasure, and so easy, to work with.
Our clients had unique wedding requests (morning ceremony, brunch reception and milkshakes!) and Danielle, with her team, handled it like champs!
The venue itself was recently renovated and they did an AMAZING job. One of our clients were looking for a venue for their Whistler winter wedding and had no interest of viewing Nick North based on the photos they had seen online. I convinced them to stop by and the minute they entered the club, they said, "where do we sign? " They paid the deposit a few days later.

Was pretty disappointed to pay a $150 at 430pm to go out and play in very poor conditions. The greens were absolutely terrible. I was a green keeper for years with the current weather there is no reason for the greens being as beat up shaggy and bumpy as they were. I'm sure it being late in the day with all the traffic had something to do with it but for a $150 you should have 2 guys working the greens on each 9 holes. Honestly though they were shaggy Beat up and neglected. I've been playing this golf course for 20 years and have never been so disappointed. I really hope you bring the resident fees back and start carrying for peoples money worth that they work so hard for or I or I will not be playing this golf course again. Nicholas North used to be my top 3 favorite golf course it is now not even in my top 10. Sand Piper golf course in Agazzi is by far the number one golf course in the lower mainland and only 90 to 100 bucks tops to play. Plus the atmosphere is way more laid back and welcoming. Nicholas North is such a beautiful location and a beautiful golf course I really hope you guys step it up a few notches! Working in the golf industry I've promoted and recommended this golf course for years but will no longer be doing that

Was a nice enough course. But I was charged twice for a round of golf, the machine said I didn't pay and was asked to pay again. Be aware.
Spoke to the golf shop after the fact and they found the transaction and said they could refund easily. Then I didn't hear or see anything. I spoke to the manager and then they requested for details of the card. Annoying process that I am going through and just be careful of the machine.

World class golf course and service! The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a challenging but fair course with some of the prettiest views I have ever seen. I had a 7: 10 tee time and I arrived 40 minutes early and the staff was ready and the range and practice green were open and ready. All around great experience!

Service is excellent, friendly staff and very helpful - from the guys working in the fairway cutting grass, to the staff in the shop.

Golfed there this weekend. Course was in pretty good shape. Staff are excellent and very friendly, A+ for the staff all around. Food was really good at the restaurant before the round. Areas of improvement are pricing (this course isn't good enough to charge $200 with a cart) and most importantly you have to have either a cart person serving drinks or water service on the course. There's a shack at hole 9 but we were all getting dehydrated on the back 9. For $200 per round, services that most courses offer should be here as well.

A well kept course, and nice facilities, which for the price it better be. I played here June 9th and they'd just gotten a brand new fleet of carts - I hope by now they've gotten the GPS sorted out. As someone who hadn't played the course before, the GPS mapping was down and the lack of signage on the course made for a day of shooting without knowing where many trouble points were. Definitely took away from the experience - I won't be rushing back.

Very fun course to play. Excellent practice/warm up area right off the first tee. Beautiful course conditions and challenging layout. Watch out for the houses lining the fairways!

It's a great course layout wise and the vista cant be beat. We got lucky with rain that held off during the round but was raining the days leading up to it. Not sure what others were complaining about drainage as it was perfectly fine. No complaints here only reason why it's not a 5 star is simply the price was a bit higher than expected but really that's just being picky.

By far the worse course in the Whistler area. The layout is pretty, but the conditions are definitely not worth the money you are paying. The greens are in absolute terrible shape, there a bunch of pebbles/rocks in the bunkers and their drainage is bad, so if there has been any rain you can expect spongy ground / water.

Great golf course and one of the most scenic patios in Whistler with delicious menu items and friendly, professional staff!

Very nice course right in the Whistler community. Course is very well maintained. Greens are a little fast so be prepared for that.

Unbelievable course with great staff! Couldnt be more happy with the way my group was handled and the way our day went from start to finish. I Wouldn’t consider playing anywhere else when I return to this beautiful city! 6 stars

Lackluster golf check in, no water provided with carts and the unassuming gestures of the staff to guide us thru to the first was pitiful. Needless to say the day was perfect and the course was enjoyed.

Not worth the costs way over priced by 100%.

Thoroughly enjoyed the golf course. Views were certainly spectacular; but my focus was on the golf and the course and found it to be pristine and everything that a proper course should entail. For a great golf experience; a must play

The course was in great condition. We played in a rainy day, but still had lots of fun. Restaurant staff were friendly and food was great. Would love to go back again on a nicer day.

Stunning course. Staff on course were pleasant and helpful. But pro shop staff couldn’t be bothered to help in the slightest. Check in was curt and impersonal, upon leaving the gentleman was worse. Simple questions like what is the best way to get a shuttle back to hotel we’re met with responses like “we have nothing to do with your transportation”

Disappointing. Compared to every other place we visited in Whistler - including the unreal service offered at Fairmont Courae when we played there twice.

It was second time playing here. Fairway condition is the best and recently did airation so green speed were little bit slow. But everythink good

Came here from Australia and tell everyone I know that this is the best condition golf course I’ve ever played on and I’ve played all the top 10 courses in Australia. Love the patio overlooking the lake and just the general feel of the place, I’ll be back in 2019 for sure.

Course designed by the golden bear himself! Wonderful scenery with the occasional wildlife encounter, not kidding!
