I rolled in with my Thursday boots that needed a new heel rubber and stitching on the side. The boots came back with these parts looking brand new and the leather fully re-polished. The sole rubber that replaced the old one is that of Vibram which is a trusted shoe-sole maker. I can see that they take their time in their crafting and repair process. I’d definitely recommend Nika Design.

The team at Nika is incredibly skilled! My girlfriend needed her sentimental bag repaired and they completed the job flawlessly. They surpassed my expectations and were friendly and professional. I will only trust Nika with any of our designer shoes or bags.

Highly recommend supporting this small business! The store was previously in the Winters Hotel Building in Gastown and was completely destroyed. Amazingly they kept all the customer repairs in a fireproof cabinet and Neda (owner) called to say that they were reopening at 390 Cambie and that my order is safe and sound- beyond surprised! Unfortunately though everything else in the store was destroyed and they are starting from scratch so if you have anything that needs to be repaired or are looking for some beautiful leather goods then this is 100% the place to visit,

Dropped of my favorite leather jacket that was looking old and had some small holes in it. The team at Nika did an amazing job with the holes and reconditioning the jacket.it looks great again. Thanks guys.

I took my barbour jacket in to be professionally re-waxed. This is something I have tried to do but it takes an ability and space and time I lack. It came out exactly how I expected

Fiancee brought in a pair of shoes for our wedding to have to half toppy soles done. Website claims price range of 45-65 dollars. We were charged $75? ! Alright, no big deal as they are expensive shoes and we wanted impeccable work. Expected color matched soles and person serving us indicated that could be done. To be frank, a bit disappointed with how the shoes were returned as seen in the pictures, wish more due care took place. Next, the soles are not flush with the sides of shoes and the toppy sole looks to be shaded or coloured with a sharpee pen on the sides. Since time wasn't on our side she has to accept the shoes for what they are which is a shame. Also there were dirty/smugged fingerprints inside one of the shoes on the tags?

Beyond these issues the work was fairly quick. However, I think we will take the rest of the work we were going to pass on, to another shop.

Fantastic workmanship, transparent pricing and time frame for pickup. Not cheap, but worth it if you love the item your wanting fixed/adjusted.

Best cobblers and shoe repair in the city, hands down! I love these two! I've brought in multiple boots over the years to be resoled and/or protected and my shoes ALWAYS look brand new after. Amazing service and quality.

Wow, is all I have to say about this place! This is BY FAR the most AMAZING cobbler in town! I'm a designer and I buy expensive quality footwear, almost exclusively. So after bringing in 3 pairs of boots to have repaired, I am completely speechless. The quality of repair is unparalleled, and is over and above what I had initially thought was even possible. I've learned to expect quality prices for quality sesrvice, and this is no exception - it's not cheap but it's completely worth it. I inquired about reducing the heel height on one of my kitten-heeled boots (thank you, Old Age, for making it much less comfortable to walk in those). Dino made sure that he only cut off what was necessary in order to preserve the esthetics and balance of the shoe while giving me much more stability to walk on. I am grateful to Neda for the super customer service as well. I did not make a point of browsing the products in the store, but from what I saw the shoes and bags are quality products too. Thank you both for the superb experience! Expect to see me again after not too long.

I never leave a review, but I feel like this place deserves a review. I have brought 2 items here, a pair of Ferragamo flats to get resoled and a motorcycle race suit that had split seams and road rash. Fair prices, excellent service and most importantly best quality work I've seen. Definitely recommend these guys and I'm gonna be going back tomorrow to get my Gucci loafers soled.

The lady is very helpful and friendly. The place is amazing and filled with gorgeous items and different options. Loved it.

Just got my boots back and they look basically brand new! Was quoted 7-10 days but they were ready within 5 days. Super happy with the results and customer service. Highly recommend!

This is the only place I will take my nice shoes for repair. The staff are so lovely. I also got some REALLY cool leather gloves from here that are one of my favourite items I own. I get compliments every time I wear them.

Dino is a magician. If it's damaged leather - he can fix it. Also, Nika is run by a wonderful family that truly cares about the customer. Please consider using Nika for any shoe or leather repair you may need.

I had a HUGE tear and even a piece missing from my favourite leather jacket and they were able to make it look brand new again! I am forever grateful for their expertise!

Neda and Dino are saviours and my favorite business owners in Gastown (possible the entire city of Vancouver). If you have a pair of favorite shoes that you are considering throwing out because they are broken - don’t fret, Dino is a shoe god. On countless occasions he has saved my shoes. I’ve had shoes that have been chewed up by my dog, where the color has completely scrubbed off, where the heels have literally FALLEN off — yet Dino has managed to saved them all and make them brand new. It’s gotten to the point where I would rather take my shoes to Nika Design for a complete rehaul rather than purchase a new pair of shoes (because they will actually make your shoes better than before).

I left my favourite, 6 years old, leather jacket for a repair. The pocket was pretty much ripped off and I was afraid it couldn't be fixed. But thanks to their expertise they fixed my jacket and could not be happier. This is definitely THE leather repair shop but also to buy good quality leather items.

I badly damaged the heel of my leather stilettos and was recommended to this place by staff at Holt Renfrew. They repaired the leather and recovered the soles to make my shoes look good as new. Definitely recommend for repairs on your luxury leather goods!

I have been coming here for years, there is no one else I would trust with my leather goods. They can make any leather product look brand new. One time they even repaired a yellow purse with a patchwork pattern on it that was fading and looked pretty bad - they were able to fix it and even mix and match a dye for it.

Very disappointed with my leather moto jacket repair job. The sleeves with zippers needed shortening. The top stitching was so poorly done that it cheapened the look of the jacket. The stitches were very large, with the line very uneven and amateurish looking. It also looked like the tension for the thread was incorrect as well. When I spoke of my disappointment the owner just shrugged & said that she tried to do a straight line but claimed that her work will never look like it does from the factory. I wish that I had known that she would not be able to sew a straight line with her equipment as I would have gone elsewhere. She charges a lot of money & gets paid up front so there is nothing that you can do if you don’t like the work. She just waits for you to walk out the door.
