Amazing experience, good vibe, food was also nice. Our waitress was very respectful and patient, he went through all the menu options and explained them all. Drink was nice, if going on the weekend make a reservation to have a nice table. They have unique meals

This restaurant was on my bucket list, and I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately, all the dishes I tried were mediocre. I'm perplexed by how a simple dish like beef carpaccio could be tasteless. On a positive note, the servers were welcoming and attentive!

- Squid & chips: Squid not fresh, it’s very soggy and not bouncy. Brussels sprouts is super greasy.
- Salmon: overcooked, skin is not crispy, and it’s in such a tiny portion, I don’t think it’s worth the price
- beef tongue: doesn’t match the photo shown on menu. It’s cooked in 2 ways, one way tastes like tofu (beef tongue supposed to taste a bit chewy), the other pan fried one is over cooked, way too hard to chew. I suspect the freshness of the tongue.
- overall, pricy ($67/person, for 3 people), fancy looking food but the ingredients are not fresh.

We got uni butter, beef tongue, pink scallops and uni pasta. Everything was great. Oh also added fresh uni to top in on uni butter.

The best dish was beef tongue. Honestly everything was really good. Uni butter was even better with fresh uni. Beef tongue and 2 diff styles of beef tongue which made it real good. Pink scallops had prawn oil. Dipping bread in the sauce was just perfection. Uni cream pasta had good amount of uni and prawns.

Beautiful place with great ambience, staffs are friendly and nice with their service. Great vibes inside which you cannot predict from the outside of the door. Their cheesecake is so delicious comes with really very different savoury taste. I tried their Mojito too which was pretty refreshing.

My biggest regret of my trip out to Vancouver is that i found this place on my last day.i cant comment on the food other than the menu sounder fantastic, i showed up for cocktails with my wife and we were blown away by the unique and just down right tasty drinks, i just wish we had been able to stay another day and have the food too.the staff were incredibly fun and friendly and i just hope they are still around when we manage to make our way back out because this will be one of our first stops

A food journey which will leave you wanting more. Service was prompt and friendly. The Hayloft mocktail and foie grass scallops were a highlight. I would come back in a heartbeat!

This place is amazing! The service was phenomenal, the food was soo sooo good and their cocktails were. Best to make a reservation, walk-in's are welcome but the wait might be long, since the restaurant isn't too big. They did tell us that they're going to be moving to a different location, so not sure how that location will look like.

In short, if you're looking for great food, great drinks and awesome service/interactions, make a reservation and come here!

This is the first time we have been to Noah‘s cafe. We feel that the server is very friendly and natural, just like coming to a very relaxing place. After work, we come here to eat and chat with friends or lovers. It has a very atmosphere. Curry is highly recommended. The rice inside is very special. It seems that it has been stir-fried or stewed. Yes, it’s not just white rice, it‘s a very special Japanes style curry.

The chef is very handsome and busy in the kitchen, but he still keeps a lot of details. We like cooking very much, so we respect and like very much.

Amazing cocktails and small plates. With a party of four with cocktails and food from both the daily and regular menu there wasn’t a miss. The staff was helpful and kind and the interior was intimate and warm. I just wish we went with more people so I could try even more food.

Great food and atmosphere. It’s small and intimate, has only a few tables and an open kitchen and bar. The food is French influenced Japanese dishes, all done in a slightly elevated way with premium ingredients but still felt like comfort food style of an izakaya. All of the dishes tasted great, the uni crème pasta was my favorite.

Online It seems like they had no availability at all. We called and was offered a 8: 30 spot on a Sunday night. So we decided to showed up at 5pm when they open and got a table. There were other tables that were available our entire time of dining. I wonder if they could optimize their reservation system a bit better.

I absolutely loved the sea urchin pasta. The home made bucatini is perfectly al dante such a nice texture. It’s completely covered in yummy sauce and topped with a large piece of Uni, along with super fresh shrimps and scallops. It cured me.

Other dishes are just equally amazing. The today special beef tongue was very tender, and the sauce so yummy we had to ask for bread to dip in it and to not waste it. The squid and chips was super yummy as well, squid soooo tender you just cannot believe it. The chips be aware is Brussels sprouts haha we didn’t know that.

The service was absolutely amazing as well.

Really unique menu and everything was incredible. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the small plates. The pork belly was our favorite!

Vegetarian friendly! Cauliflower coconut curry is a must try and oh the tofu cheese (which isn’t tofu) is delicious appetizer.

First time here, after hearing rave reviews from others, I can't express how much I love this one! The spot is small, but a better term would be intimate. Service, while biased, as the owner was serving us, was impeccable. Description of the food was articulated well, and understand you pay for the quality of it all.
Decor is rustic, dim, and gives off a warm vibe, which I'll try to sum up as comfortable. You really feel at home here.
As a side, and this may play no relevance, but the restroom, is hands down, the best smelling restroom I've ever been in, in this city bar none. Irrelevant yes, but these little details, especially with a small spot that is not owned by one of the big conglomerate companies that owns all the mainstream restaurants downtown, is one of the reasons this restaurant sets itself apart from the rest.
Highly recommended whether its dinner or for drinks (ask for the drink with the bubble if you're into theatrics!).

Great flavor. Authentic Japanese with European influences. Loved the samplers, the strawberry with prosciutto was very unique and great. A bit sad that the risotto was sold out, although the omurice was also good.

Blown away by the service and food. So delicious and the waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and menu. The cocktail bubble, she let me know it was a 10% chance but she kept trying.

Excellent friendly and professional service. Delicious food, made with a lot of care. Jazzy hole in the wall vibes. Everything we had was top notch: chicken liver pate, beef tongue, bouillabaise, syrah wine.

Tres bon restaurant! Ne vous fiez pas à l apparence extérieure du restaurant. A l intérieur l’ambiance et SURTOUT la nourriture sont excellentes. Le jerk chicken était tout simplement sublime. La pieuvre et le jelly fish valent aussi leur pesant d or. Par contre, si vous ne mangez pas épicé, laissez le savoir parce que les plats que nous avon mangé étaient pas mal épicés.

Great ambiance and good tasted good but it was a little pricey for what it was.

Our favourite was the uni pasta aside from that most dishes seem to use similar sides or sauces so that fell a little flat for us.

Solid food but wasnt spectacular. The hayashi rice was a little too sweet. The service was great! Its good to try but not 100% sure if I would go back.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. They make new menus almost everyday. Really liked their scallop risotto and brussel sprouts. Their staff was really friendly and we received great service! Will be back soon!

Portions are quite reasonable for portion sizes as they are shared but the taste is phenomenal! Ordered the following

Croquette Uni Creme - pretty much a burst of creamy uni in your mouth along with a crispy crust on the outside

Squid & Chips - yes you would think the squid is the star of the dish but the brussel sprouts probably took the spotlight for me

Cheese Tofu - from the looks for it, looks very basic but the balance of sweet and savory with the maple syrup and nuts make an amazing combination

Scallop Risotto - very creamy and probably the best risotto I've had to date. Scallops cooked to perfection paired with a bite of caviar

Uni Creme Pasta - very cream and packed with uni flavour in the sauce.

Blue Fin Tuna Sashimi - very fresh akami and o-toro considering this isn't a sushi restaurant. Very good value for the portion and taste.

This place is definitely a gem. It’s a smaller restaurant with a hardworking team that all seem to work together to ensure you have a pleasant experience. The food and drinks we tried were all crafted so well and tasted even better. Highly recommended.

This place is an amazing, yet humble-looking, restaurant in the downtown area of Vancouver! First, the food. The food was exceptional! My girlfriend and I started with the Tofu Cheese. It was light and could easily spread on the the bagettes. The Tofu Cheese was surrounded by little bits of almond and honey, giving a sweet, nutty and cheesy flavour. My girlfriend ordered the Omelette Rice, which was the tastiest vegetarian dish I've ever had. The seasoning was great, rice was cooked to perfection, and the mushrooms blended with the rice nicely! I ordered the Uni Creme Pasta, which (I believe) was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever tried! The Uni (Sea Urchin) was made into a creamy sauce blended with various seasonings and parmesan cheese. The pasta was cooked well and cooked to the right hardness. The pasta was not overly oily, like other places have it; but had strong Uni taste and light because it wasn't oily. I definitely recommend you try these two signature dishes!

Second, the service! This place really went out of it's way to make sure the necessary arrangements were met or exceeded. Because of the great experience I had, I decided to take my family out to this place on Monday night for dinner. Originally, I was told that a party of 7 could only sit on two separate tables. Then, they left a message for me stating that we could all sit together outdoors on their patio. Going the extra mile to ensure the customer gets the best experience is what Noah Cafe did for me! Their attentiveness, service, and food are all equally great! May you all enjoy this place as much as I do!

The uni pasta was so exceptional that we forgot to take a photo of it. Other dishes were also good. We'll definitely visit again.

We booked and arrived on time. The Uni cream pasta tasted great at start, but waited for more than 45min for just miso soup then another 10+ min for food next. We parked outside right at the door, PayByPhone counted 12min left for the hour. We asked for water several times before it appeared on the table. It sounds like one of the two waitresses kept forgetting. We will still go there next time but will only order takeout.

If you’re craving something fusion with a lot of delicately crafted flavours and killer drinks this is the place to go. Try the beef tongue it’s unlike any dish I’ve ever tasted before. Super fun place to bring your foody friends and split a whole bunch of dishes for the full experience.

Came here after seeing the intriguing cocktail with a bubble gun. The food was great! I would highly recommend ordering the uni creme spaghetti, it’s full of flavour yet not too overpowering. The beef tataki was cooked fo perfection as it melted in my mouth and the cocktails were delicious! Great spot for a date night. Clothing is quite casual.

Ordered the Tomago Katsu Double Cheese Sando off Uber Eats and it was amazing. The onion jam is like a nice slightly sweet relish. The cheese is incredibly well melted and the taste really infuses with the egg. The middle part of the sandwich without crust are the best bites because the stuff to bread ratio is so high and the bread is so soft. Would definitely recommend to try this. The sauce with the salad is a nice balsamic and complements the sandwich well.

One of our new favorites in town! Beef tongue as good as expected while uni creme pasta and chicken karaage completely surprised my gf and I by how delicious it was. Will be back!

Pleasantly surprised. Delicious omelette rice. Katsu sando was slightly disappointing though as the bread was too hard to bite down as a sando (suggest cutting off the crust), ended up eating the pork cutlet with a knife and fork. Will be back to try some of the other items!

Very good vibe in the room with meticulous plated small plates for sharing. I enjoyed many of the dishes with some standouts like the fried chicken (karaage) one could tell the morsels were well marinated from meat to batter and the sauces accompanying were spot on. The scallops (hotate) were perfect bites and flavours complex even though the portions wasn’t huge. Another stellar dish were baby potatoes. Carb at its finest I’d say and easily some of the best tots I’ve ever had. We also loved their cocktails and sake selection. A new and very endearing addition to west end core.

Got takeout, ordered the figs, uni pasta, and scallop risotto.
Was cooked very fast and very delicious! The figs ($8 for 4 halves) were sweet, very delicious and paired great with the prosciutto.
The pasta ($30) had a great creamy sauce with tasty bits of scallop, shrimp, and uni.
The risotto ($27) was a bit less saucy than expected, but nevertheless had big scallops and fresh mushrooms. Everything tasted great. Just a tad on the expensive side

In a city of rain Noah's is the saviour we're happy to get on board with. Amazing food, great vibe and delicious drinks. Will be making this place a regular stop.

Noah’s Cafe is reasonably priced and definitely a great Japanese fusion dining experience. Staff are friendly and attentive. Foods are delicious and tasty. Highly recommended.

Came here for lunch the other day and had a delicious meal. We got the ebi sando and pork katsu sando, both were delicious. Really cute cafe with lots of Japanese comfort food on the menu. Will be coming back to try the dinner menu!

A new, small, and wonderful restaurant you must try. Very great Japanese fusion menu that was worth the visit.

The uni pasta was incredibly tasty, one of the best uni pastas I’ve had.

The beef tongue was tender and delicious as well.

Came for dinner, but they also have a different lunch menu I’ll come back to try. Gotta come back to try more items on their menu because everything we ordered was amazing.
