Best haircut my son has had in a long time. Super nice owner with a store full of fantastic organic/ethical clothing.

The type of mens hair styling is what you would expect in NYC or Montreal! He is without a doubt an expert at hip mens cuts. To boot he is such a great person in a superb shop. We had an emergency haircut fixup. My husband goes there regularly but I had taken our son somewhere else that a friend recommended. What this other person did to his hair was truly awful - wear a hat for months awful. We ran directly to Nomads and with one look at this hair fubar he squeezed him in and fixed it up. I should have never taken my son anywhere else and won't make that mistake again!

An excellent small barbershop, I went in for a long overdue haircut, and had a great conversation with the owner. I will definitely be returning. Try to book online in advance though, I was lucky with a 3: 00pm walk-in.

I've been going to nomads for a couple years now and can honestly say that this is a place I look forward to going. With the high quality haircuts and shaping my beard Ezy is a master that keeps me looking fresh, he's personable, communicative, friendly and I always leave with something new to think about. Worst haircut of my life. I had longer hair and asked him to trim the length a few inches and layer it. He literally just cut straight across and said he was done! I could have done that myself! The whole time he was telling me it was going to be the best haircut I've ever had and that other barbers just "pretend" to cut your hair and take "too long". After he told me I didn't know how I wanted to have my haircut or what style I wanted. Played weird conspiracy podcasts obnoxiously loud during the whole procedure as well.

I was in an out in five minutes and looking for someone to fix the awful work. I have nothing but regret coming here.

After months without a haircut and the summer heat in full effect, I was starting to become desperate for a haircut, but just could not find the time. Ezy was friendly, knowledgeable and I was confident he was able to give me a great haircut even though I had no idea what I was looking for. Nomads has convenient parking on Cliffe, online scheduling and openings on saturdays as well as nice cold air conditioning in the summer months. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

I am new to Comox and in dire need of a fresh cut. Nomads caught my eye driving around town as I enjoy a modern barbershop experience. Was I not disappointed! The shop has an awesome vibe and some nice clothing selection I'll be coming back to check out.
Ezy is a really great, cool guy. We had an awesome chat, he welcomed me to the area and had a few pointers for me which I really appreciate. I didn't have to give much direction and he also gave me styling tips for the direction in which my hair grows. It showed me he really cares about his customers. I started using Nomad Barbershop near the end of last year. Ezy has been giving me the best hair-cuts of my life, and he is one of the most authentic people I have ever met - we instantly connected as friends. I appreciate him as a professional barber and as a man who is true to his heart.

This place is 10/10. Book online, products are natural/organic. Even the retail clothing comes from naturally sourced materials. His knowledge and experience is top notch, not to mention just a cool guy to be around. Courtenay is lucky to have a cool shop like this one.

Ezy does a great job, no detail is too small. He cares about what he does and it shows. No better place to get a beard trim in Courtenay!

My partner booked an appointment with Ezy to get a hair cut & beard trim before a wedding in the Comox Valley after reading all the fantastic reviews. Ezy was definitely as awesome as everyone says! He knew exactly what style would look the best for my partner’s hair type/face/what he would be comfortable with, and he was SO happy with his finished look. Bonus: there was great shopping to keep me occupied while he got his hair done 10/10 - we’ll definitely be back!

Great haircut and even better conversation! Managed to get a walk-in slot (a scheduled cut was a no-show). Shop is also a clothing shop, and the brand is a super eco-friendly one with great aesthetics.

Will definitely plan on getting my next haircut here when I'm back in town!

Hands down the absolute best hair and beard experience of my life. The atmosphere and energy of the place is like a breath of fresh air, I literally felt a giant weight slide off my shoulders when I walked through the door. My hair and beard trim were so perfect that I left the place feeling like a movie star. Will be bringing the whole family here for our cuts and trims!

I’ve been to just about every barber in the Comox valley over my years here, and it’s not hard to see that we are incredibly lucky to have a guy with top notch skills like this come way out to our neck of the woods.

Amazing vibe along with being the best barber in Courtenay I have found yet. Very friendly and easy to talk to while getting a great hair cut.

Fantastic new barber shop in Courtenay. Owner does a great job with kids hair cuts. Also did a great job on my beard trim. The clothing line is pretty solid as well. Got a couple of hats and some gloves. Really solid concept. If you’re looking to support local businesses, this one is certainly worth supporting. All the stars.
