The food is sensational and truly a golden franchise, Fakhrul is a superb manager and I totally recommend this restaurant to everyone. Hot means hot, it’s the best in the city.

This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes it is tastes fresh and delicious, other times it taste like they cook the meals in the same dirty pan they just cooked the previous 20 dishes with multiple different meat proteins

I had the pad Thai and it was bad, the noodles were hard and it didn't taste like pad Thai.

Ordered their pad Thai and they assured me it was vegetarian, so I was surprised to find it had chicken in it. I also had requested it with tofu, and they instead put a fried egg on it, which is a cheaper option.

If you have any dietary restrictions… don’t eat here.

I love the chow meni here best taste I prefer to have spring rolls also they were tasting so good

I visited their first branch on our way to hope that was great but the quality of this site is not up to the mark, I liked their noodles when they are soupy but this location makes them dry

Literally the most bland meal ive had in my whole life.even with xtra spicy and xtra sauce it has zero flavour.my meal is just a bowl of rice noodles with 3 beef pieces.

Jungle curry was way too salty, like overwhelming salty.

Black bean and garlic noodles were way too tangy

Neither tastes like the actual dishes they're inspired by tbh.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place has definitely gone downhill sad to say.this place used to be amazing. Possibly due to change of ownership in the last few years. Peanut satay is still okay, but do not buy chow mein from here!

My favourite Noodlebox location since they opened. I love their food, quality of food is good but I think it was better before. They used to have a variety of hot sources before but it’s gone. Spicy peanut Noodlesbox with egg and chicken is my favourite dish.

The best noodles in the town, Ginger beef is highly recommended, the staff is very chill and fun, had a nice talk with the guy in front. The flames and food is pretty hot, if you love spicy food, its the spot to hit.

Worst experience ever.the staff even cant provide enough soya sachets to the customers. Worst service not recommended

Food tastes bad; no salt only soy sauce and it is extremely expensive for the portion. Would definitely suggest to cook noodles home rather than eat here.

Tasty as always, but this time the Pad Thai was quite dry, not enough sauce. The other dish was the Cambodian Jungle Curry with tofu and rice noodles. Way less noodles than the Pad Thai but yummy sauce and veggies.

Ginger beef was terrible, super soggy and the ginger flavour was unrecognizable. Would not recommend. For the size, it's not even cheaper than a nicer place.

We regularly order food from this place after Yale town location was closed. Maggie was our server, incredible customer service, we ordered spicy peanut noodle box with extra prawns and meet with fried egg on top with lots of Asian vegetable, they never messed it up, it was perfectly done with freshness and we throughly enjoyed the food. Amazing place

4.5. This is a great spot for lunch and truly an elevated fast food experience. The options for noodle and sauce types was extensive and it was made quickly. You can choose your spice level and they use real chili. I appreciate that the utensils were biodegradable and that there was a dine-in option. Also - they use fresh herbs on top which was awesome! I opted for the pad Thai but will be back to try other things!

The owner and Chef need to go to different Noodle box and try their food/noodle first before running this business. Chef dont know how to cook and highly recommend to check out other location and than cook at kits location.

They were kind enough to remake something for me when it was actually my fault and I misread their menu. This one's for their manager and generosity:)

Counter service could've been better and they were "out" of Kung poa. Over all nice place and the cooks look like they are good at their jobs.

"Ramen" from Hell

I took the biggest L of my life coming here. I almost never write reviews but I felt compelled to write about the worst food I've ever had in all the years I've lived in Vancouver.

I honestly feel robbed. I paid $20 for the ramen (since I paid for a protein, sirloin beef, for $4.50- which was an even bigger mistake in itself). The beef was literally inedible. It was so rock-solid The Rock would be jealous, so I threw away $4.50 from that. The soup was an abomination, an insult to the entire Asian continent. There was nothing "ramen" about the soup. It was a black sauce diluted with water and seasoned with salt. I don't know what I could've done in my past lives to deserve this meal. There were also so many vegetables, none of which were commonly used in ramen: cabbage, red bell-peppers, carrots, etc. A more appropriate name for the dish would be "black salty sauce soup with an ungodly amount of random vegetables".

My friend (who's Indonesian) ordered the Indonesian Peanut Sauce Noodles since the cashier said it was their best-selling menu item. He said it was extremely bland and mildly spicy, which is not exactly a great description of the supposed best item on the menu.

This day was extremely memorable for me, and a wake-up call that even in this modern day and age, there are still ignorant people out there who will continue to use the names of popular Asian dishes to bait unsuspecting people. Oh my god.

Quick, easy enjoyable food. Base recipes seem to have changed recently but the food is still good. A go to spot for lunch for the office

Great variety of bowls. Choose your own protein, sauce and noodles. Good size portions and the vegetables are cooked to perfection. Delicious!

I haven't been here since it was franchised and it sucked. The menu is completely different and the service is terrible. My friend and I ordered our food at the same time. I got mine first and mine was ready before the two families who were in line before me. They forgot to make my friend's dish and didn't even apologize. In total it took 30 minutes to get our food. I ordered the ginger beef and it was soggy and flavorless. My friend had hardly any protein in her meal. I will not be going back. Total waste of money.

You can tell a lot about how clean the kitchen is by inspecting how well staff clean the bathroom. I sadly would not recommend eating at this particular location.

“Owner” whom he claimed or whoever the front person thinks he is refused service to a group of 8 hungry people because 3 of them did not have a mask to order and refused to give anyone a mask, even though we were going to dine and be eating and drinking. Ordered a box w tofu, extra broccoli and extra mushrooms, but was given vegan chickn instead. I’ve gone to noodlebox for years and years and aways loved it, but the last few times I’ve ordered, the food is super bland and they barely give any vegetables even when you pay for extra vegetables. My rice noodles felt kind of overcooked too. It makes me sad because I feel like this used to be a family favourite, but everytime I go there it feels like it becomes less and less worth the price.

Love the ginger beef, staff know me from name and already know my order, quick service. Highly recommended if you in town for some quick, delicious noodles.

Decent flavor overall but I got double veg and my husband didn't, and when we opened them up they had the exact same amount though I'd paid extra. He got medium spice and it was so hot it was inedible - and he's not a spice wimp! Lacking consistency from other locations.

Incredibly slow. I ordered from the app, and it said it would be ready in 8 minutes, I showed up in 15 minutes and still waited 30 minutes.

WOW! Had such a wonderful lunch yesterday that I had to share my experience here! It's been such a while since I stopped in at my fave noodle destination. Had to have the classic spicy peanut box and it did not dissapoint! I may have washed it down with an apple pie spring roll! Top notch and the lady behind the counter gave wonderful service as usual! I have to remove a star because of the lack of masks when preparing our food, and that's such a shame because I very much like Noodlebox.

During a pandemic, I expected the employees to be wearing masks, but one of them was wearing a bandana instead. As I saw him prepare our food, his mask kept slipping down while he'd talk with the other employees.

This leads me to one other employee that didn't have a mask at all! He seemed to be eating something and was talking all while they were moving/preparing our food around him!

This behaviour definitely made me uncomfortable, and I don't intend on returning for the time being.

The food was great, but I need to feel safe eating it for me to return.

We’ve loved Noodle box anyway, but I ate a green coconut curry with noodle here, which was only a daily offer, and since then I’ve been looking for that dish here. That was amazing! I still hope they will put it on the menu, even though it has been years ago

Missing flavor, might be the one I choose but I was expecting wide range of flavor as it should be. I'll give it another try with something else next time

Noodlebox is on my restaurant rotation. Really enjoying their Italian noodle box.
This is a good place to get a nutritious meal. Sometimes the "fusion" magic doesn't happen ie.not enough sauce? I'm not exactly sure what, however this rarely happens.

Oh, they have a loyalty app and makes ordering easy!

Vegan version of Singapore curry is the most tasteless dish I've eaten in a while. I asked why it's so bad and they said it's because to make it vegan they just remove fish sauce and other things. What's the point of making a vegan version of it if it's gonna taste like plain vegetables cooked in water. There are plenty if vegan substitutes for fish sauce available.

Don't waste your time or money on this place. Lost track of my order. I had to ask them about my food after customers behind me were served their food. To top it off the quality was subpar compared to other Noodlebox locations.

I've been to a lot of different Noodlebox locations and the overall food experience can be pretty inconsistent and is always something that I am left wondering about as I'm ordering. Haven't been to this location before but by far this is thr best noodlebox experience and best quality box I've had from the brand as a whole in a long time. Really well done. Thank you!

Black bean with vegan chicken is so delicious, that vegan chicken is really amazing if your vegan highly recommended. The people in the store are very friendly. Always asking if i need anything.amazing service.

Quality has decreased. This place used to be good long time ago. They are being cheap with ingredients. Almost no vegetables. Basically just some bean sprouts with a little protein on rice. No taste and very bland. Totally agree with other low rating reviews. Avoid this place.

We've been fans of the Noodle Box for years, but we were really disappointed with our order this evening. My spicy peanut noodles (a dish that I've ordered a number of times) were extremely bland, lacking any flavour other than peanut, and my girlfriend's Kung Pao noodles were equally unremarkable and bland. It's unfortunate that the quality seems to have gone down so much. We won't be ordering again.

Horrible Service. Went in last night. Nov. 22nd at 7: 50. Myself and 3 others stood infront of the counter waiting to be aknowleged by the asian lady working the till. Two others got annoyed by her just standing there looking right threw them and they walked out.i decided to give her the benefit of the doubt but after a few more minutes she still ignored me. Mind you the place was not busy in the slightest. So i left after driving 30 mins to get there. Wont be going back.

A staple here in Kitsilano. Unfortunately they revamped the menu and killed some of the best items - like the Tom Yum soup. Highly recommend the dishes with either black bean garlic or Thai peanut sauce as bases.

I wish I could give negative rating. The staff don’t acknowledge you at all. I wait 35 minutes to pickup my order and in the end I had to cancel it because it’s not prepared still. I asked many times is it going to take long and staff response was NADA! Never coming back no do I recommend this place to anyone.

So I really like Noodle Box, normally, but tonight was below par. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. The noodles were all stuck together, there was hardly any veg, no cilantro or peanuts.
I'll accept it as "just one of those nights", but having had great food there on multiple occasions, I was really disappointed.

I quite enjoy the noodles here, everything is good and their most spicy level is actually good and spicy. I like their selection of various noodle boxes. And the box that comes in is quite cute.

Main turn off was how long we had to wait for the order. The girl at the till didn't warn me about over 25 min wait. The place also doesn't serve tap water, only bottled, although they serve spicy food. The overall experience was not good. No apologies for long wait.

One of the best place for noodles in Vancouver. Variety of yummy receipes. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well. Staff is always welcoming.

I would recommend this place.

Have Noodlebox changed their portion? The boxes used to be filled to the top, today mine was half full at best.

Awesome noodle bar with friendly staff. I'm a bit of a chilli addict so being able to choose the dish and have it as spicy as you like is brill. Great flavours and ample portions. Definitely recommended!

You neglecting to do so has cost me time and energy trying to resolve an issue with DoorDash. An order I placed on Monday night could not be completed because your location was not operational until 9: 00pm which DoorDash currently believes you are. It has been confirmed that you were aware of this issue and have chosen to do nothing about it.

Decent selection, multiple vegan options. Clean and spacious.

That being said, currently 45 minutes into waiting for our food.

I love this place, been coming for a couple of years now.
I LOVE the food. Good variety of spice, flavour and a beautiful portion size!
Overall great value, great food, great location, great staff.

Ordered noodle box through foodora. Ordered their Thai style chow mein and their pad Thai and an order of their nan.

It was terrible! Absolutely inedible. For the Pad Thai they forgot the sauce and over cooked the noodles so it was basically like eating bland mush.

For the chow mein they forgot the wet ingredients. It was all powdered curry paste. This left a gritty sand in mouth texture complete garbage.

Unfortunately I ended up tossing both. This is a shame because the first time I ate here it was good.

Disappointed the Bombay mac and cheese box no longer contains paneer,

Great Asian style setting inside the restaurant. A variety of noodles to choose from the menu. Waiting time seems a bit long (spent about 20mins waiting yesterday).
Noodles tastes nice and healthy!

I use to love this place. It was hip, fast service and the food was so delicious. So disappointing the last 2 or 3 times I've been in. I had a card for a free box because my take out order ended up being wrong and needed to go back. So when I used the card, I thought I'll go rice on this order and it was just soggy and no love. Bland! Really disappointing because I love a quick, healthy noodle place in the hood after a long day. Try something else!

Recently dined at noodlebox kitsilano and was both pleased with the service and the atmosphere in the restaurant. Food was prompt and tasty. Will definitely be coming back!

1st time going, ordered Kung Pao w beef and medium spice. Took longer than I thought to make but was worth the wait. Good food, decent price and clean. Will visit again.

Waited for 30 min before I interrupted the staff to ask where my one box meal was. Restaurant had 4 patrons inside and didn't even start my order. My one star is just for the cashier who refunded me, 0/4 for everything else. Really disappointed, wasted my money on parking and time and left empty handed. For a place that says it makes good food FAST, I'd say this was very ironic at best. You're better off walking into many of the other million Asian restaurants that Vancouver has.

Update: they have since reached out and done a good job of fixing their mistakes. For this I will add some stars.

So this restaurant has a decent rating yet there's a lot of (recently) 1 star ratings. My advice to you: dont go. Listen to the 1 stars.

My friend and I decided to give it a shot anyways and disregard the reviews, but it just took way too long. I wish we'd listened. There were 4 people in the restaurant and 2 cooks, yet it still took about 40 minutes (not the 20 minutes that was estimated). The food itself was.alright.

I waited about 40 minutes to get takeout here on a seemingly slow day for them. Once I realized that people who ordered behind me had been served ahead of me I asked the cashier about my order. The cashier was pretty short with me and uninterested in addressing my concerns. There is plenty of great food on 4th ave. Go anywhere else before you go here.
