Smiling service, noodles prepared exactly as I wanted and served piping hot. Hit the spot!

I come here at least once a week. Food is so good. And am a busy guy. What I like I can go for lunch and be back to work in a respectable time. And have a great lunch. Highly recommended it.

The Crispy Shanghai dish I ordered was an absolute treat. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the noodles were both spicy and incredibly delicious. The warmth of the meal was especially comforting on a cloudy day. It's definitely a must-visit for noodle lovers.

I love this place but the food tastes different every time. Last time I ordered medium and it was not spicy at all. So today I asked for medium-hot and it was so spicy I could not eat it, and there was very little other flavor or sauce to balance it out.

I’m a regular here but every order I get recently has been a massive let down. One or two bad dishes I can get past for my favourite food, but the quality lately is more than horrible and they have lost my business at this point. I’m not sure if they have new staff or what’s going on but I’ll be looking elsewhere for my noodle craving

So I just don't understand who decides the amount of spice in each level that a dish needs? I eat so much spice and garlic in my life, and for some reason the spice in these dishes are so extreme. Everytime I get mild/medium my nose is running and my mouth is on fire. As quoted "a nice dose of heat". Please reply to my review with the definition of your dose noodlebox lol. I'm curious if anyone else agrees, because I taste no flavors and only a LARGE dose of heat.

UPDATE:
I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM DISH WITH NO MEAT.

I made two orders with crispy chicken from this location and they forgot to add the meat for both. One month later I decided to give them another chance. I ordered the same meal and forgot the meat a second time. Both times the store was not busy. I thought this was a coincidence but no, it is just a complete lack of service. If you go here please do yourself a favour and check your meal.

Great place to eat and the staff are so helpful! Really made sure I was enjoying my food and asked many times if there was anything else I needed.

To make a long point short they're never open. Like never.

I'd love to rate it higher as I've enjoyed meals here before but recently not only have I arrived during posted business hours just to find it closed and they've been out of the kung pao for awhile despite the North End location seemingly having no problems providing the dish. It's really hard to recommend this location over the Northern one because of this. There are plenty of other restaurants downtown that are more deserving of your attention. At least until they get their stuff together.

I used to love Noodlebox. Those days are long gone. Staff barely spoke English. Breaded chicken, was 99% over deep fried breading with almost no chicken at all. Sauce tastes like bottled chilli for chicken sauce from a grocery store, barely any veggies. Will be the last time I eat here. It’s been getting worse for years but has hit rock bottom.

I just flew in from toronto and I was super excited to eat noodlebox. So much so that I ordered two meals (Spicy peanut and Kung Pao). Wow was I disappointed. I got rice noodles and they were undercooked, so much so that I couldn't chew them and almost choked. The Kung Pao tasted nothing like the old Kung Pao. I'm just super disappointed overall. This noodlebox is nothing like the original one from years ago.

Great food, should of listened when they warned me how hot it was, ha I was crying because it was so hot.

Had the worst experience here this evening went for dinner with my wife and was shocked at how poor the service was.

The young short girl at the counter taking orders was just talking with her friends (who were ordering) while we were in line long past when they ordered, then when they decided to leave she just walked over to the table with them. All in all we waited to order for about 9 min then when she left we weren’t greeted by the next order taker for 4 min, it was not busy at all and there were people standing in the back within eye view goofing around.

Food took about 25 min to cook watched them box it up and put it to the pass, I then watched 3 different female employees walk past the food while it sat there, no call or anything.

It wasn’t till I said something they gave me the food.

Food was great and the cook did a great job, but the service was terrible. There needs to be some sort of management as it honestly looked completely un organized …. Noodle box needs to do better.

Went to Order food for pick up and witnessed terrible sanitation and food preparation. Employee took off their hat ran their hands through their hair, put it back on. Continued to use unwashed hands to prepare meals. No tongs used to grab toppings. When the employee spilled a bit of the noodles, they picked up the mess with their unwashed hands again and put it in their mouth to eat. Then continued to work on orders. I walked out a minute later. I will not be going back to this location until I hear better things.

Ordered my meal didn’t have the drink I wanted which was fine gave me something else but I ordered my meal in a bowl it came in a box and their mobile app charged me a bag fee but they didn’t pack it in a bag. Curious what else wasn’t properly done, I eat at Noodlebox regularly all over BC and this is a poor showing.

Waste of my money completely. Payed for ginger beef. Got no beef. Payed for extra broccoli. No broccoli. Was super oily and gross also ordered it medium and there was no spice whatesover. The second one I ordered was atleast edible but they didn’t even cook it properly and all of the spices just existed on the food and was spicier than what I had ordered. No idea what I actually received but 100% was not what I ordered

Noodlebox has been on Vancouver Island for about 20 years. Starting as a street vendor and now franchised. The food does not disappoint and also fresh and tasty. Order mild if you don't like spicy food. You can order ahead for dine in or take away options or just walk in and sit down. Doordash pickup and deliver from this location. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean.

Went for lunch yesterday. Friendly new employee working at the counter, good experience with her.
The kitchen staff were too busy eating, chatting and checking out the one employees bum to care about the food they were prepping. My friend ordered hot for spicy and it was bland, I ordered chow mein and they served ginger beef with rice.
Maybe the employees should smoke less pot before coming to work.

Waited over 30 minutes for the order while watching people that ordered behind me get their order first. Ordered medium hot but had been given no spice. Burnt pieces from the pan throughout the whole meal followed by waaaaay too much sauce. I use to love eating here but after this experience I’d rather not waste my time.

I'm on vacation from. Montreal, and my hotel is very near to this place. I waited quite awhile for my order, but I wasn't upset because it was a busy place, so I thought it wood be good. I got my order, took it back to my hotel, and this is where the disappointment started. First of all, no utensils or chop sticks, second of all, no flavor! There was no sauce! Just a bunch of noodles, chicken pieces, and sprouts and vegetables. I was soooo disappointed. There was literally no taste to this bland and unappetizing concoction. I love noodles, but this was catastrophic. If you're going to forget something, don't make it the thing that gives it the flavor. What a waste of money. Can't believe I actually tipped. Sad.

Do NOT get the spicy peanut noodle box nor the Cambodian jungle curry box. They were so salty that it tasted bitter. I challenge the "chefs" to finish the whole portion without getting sodium induced hypertension.

We knew just what we wanted, had the correct cash in hand for food and drinks, but the problem started when the totals were wrong.like maybe $4 and I asked why?

The manager is called, he stops cooking.walks over.his smile disappears & I think more than one of staff guffawed. "ya, that's the old price.you can be forgiven for the error.forces a laugh.so, did you want the food or not? "

We said, "hey, bait & switch much"?
They snickered more as we voted with our dollars and walked out.

The store suppose to close at 2000. Although they had sign that they are closing earlier at 1800 they did not take my order at 1740. Unprofessional management

Yikes. I used to eat at the original noodle box I. Victoria all the time, but I hadn't had it in at least a decade. I had my jungle curry, my partner had the Szechuan chicken, and my kid had the Mac and cheese and they all didn't taste like anything? Like, completely devoid of flavor. I had heard noodle box had gone down hill since expanding, but this was honestly shocking. The only reason I'm not giving one star is that it didn't taste bad or was undercooked, it just didn't taste like anything at all

They can’t offer steady quality. I miss the original noodlbox in China town Victoria.last few times in this branch has been disappointing.

Great food! Tried several dishes on the menu and enjoyed every single one of them. Must try!

Well that was a terrible meal and a waste of money. My mouth and lips were coated in oil, all I could taste was oil. Had the Teriyaki box. I think they forgot the Teriyaki because there was no favor. Not good, not good at all.
