I love the Nook. The staff, food, and positive wipes are amazing. I've never had a bad experience. The specials are always delicious as well. They do a great job accommodating a two year old. Thank you

Awesome place for a night out. The food was awesome and our waiter was excellent. The restaurant staff were well coordinated, which made the evening go well but also entertaining.
I would recommend this little restaurant, but you need to get there early because it is very popular. Also the menu items are well priced.

A great Italian restaurant by kits beach. The pasta is some of the best I’ve had in Vancouver. Would recommend the cacio e pepe. Or grab some pizzas and have a picnic at the beach!

Felt like the food was good and atmosphere was nice but expected both to be nicer for the price I paid. Everyone was very crammed together and the food was fine Italian food. Service was great though!

We were feeling peckish yesterday (Saturday, August 12,2023,) and decided to pop in for a little snack. There was a daily special that intrigued us – a frittata with a number of tempting sounding ingredients. We figured that would be perfect to share as a light snack, and the fact that Nook is part of the same restaurant group as one of our favourite recent finds, Radish Restaurant, we had faith we were in for a treat.

Sadly, that wasn’t the case. The egg was cooked perfectly – that’s the beginning and end of what we liked. Beyond that there was simply nothing…no flavour, no textures, no aromas…nothing to be found in either the eggs or the dry and dreary wedge of baguette. We couldn’t even taste any salt or pepper, never mind anything in the way of herbs or seasoning. We were offered chilli oil to drizzle, and thought that might add a little flavour, but even the oil had absolutely no hint of the promised chilli infusion – it was just oil.

I can’t recall having ever had such a bland meal, and to make matters worse, not one person bothered to ask if our meal was ok. Perhaps they knew exactly what the answer would be and didn’t dare ask.

We’ve walked past Nook a number of times before our hungry bellies and proximity led to finally trying the place out. In the future, we’ll keep walking…to Radish or any of the myriad other local options we have yet to try.

Good spot for a pizza, and watch the sunset at the beach. We didn’t try to eat at the restaurant but it seem really nice and cozy.

We were here for our lovely weekend brunch and it was great. Love the food, it was excellent. Love the atmosphere, it was cheerful. Love the service, it was friendly and fun.

It was busy with a lively ambience but the wait wasn’t overly long. About 20-30min at 7 on a Saturday night. Not bad at all. This location has the best vibe imo. The portions were quite large. I had a hard time finishing my cacio e pepe. Definitely making a point to go back more often.

Disgusting service. Left a nasty memory about this visit to Vancouver. I haven't had this trashy attitude even in fast foods of US worse areas. It's like we were on a prison break. Asked to sit outside, the host yelled no. Rushed us inside where it's full to the limit. Tricked us to buy a drink first then the boot camp began. All we heard was "no" "last call food" "last call bar" and they went above and beyond to make us as uncomfortable as possible. We barely asked for much. The host and servers are beyond lazy mentally with all their energy wasted on doing things as sloppy and fast as possible, only so they can close early. Prison guards should learn from these freaks. It felt like a bootcamp from start to finish. When we asked about wifi they just had a smirk on their faces, and refused us to bring enough silverware. Ignored every request about it with a creepy smirk on their faces. This place is advised by Amex and Discover to visit, yet the server/host was in such a manic rash that he refused for me even to try paying with those form of payments. I know it's a common knowledge that that it's only visa/Mastercard, but when you try it works. It even works on vending machines in Vancouver. So the ignorance mixed with manic obsession about closing early turned into a vey disgusting nasty experience that made nauseous after leaving this place. Seriously.saying no WIFI and smiling at you. What kind of mental freak is this woman? She brings 2 plates and only one set of silverware, and then non of them responds. They just yell no Amex and no Discover and no WIFI with a creepy smirk on their manic faces.

The food is always on point. The staff on the other hand. They step outside into the back alley and let all the office drama out. They are rude when asked to quite down and seem to feel they don't share that space with the neighbors. It is a nightly thing and are routinely asked to quite down. They don't get the message. I would like to go back to this restaurant as I've always enjoyed it but the staff has to realize that the back alley is a shared space and respect for your neighborhood in this is of upmost importance.

Amazing! Perfect atmosphere with wonderful staff and food. So far, one of the best places to eat in Vancouver.

Ordered the cacio e pepe. Noodles were a good firmness and the sauce was also good. Might have been a little too much black pepper, but still a good dish overall

Nice restaurant on the street. Have a drink and rest the afternoon is not a bad option. They have the real stove for the pizza. Very Italian.

The food and wine are SO good here, and so is the service.it’s quite overpriced, but a nice treat once in a while.

Fantastic Italian spot in Kits! The restaurant itself is cozy and lively, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. We ordered the kale salad, prosciutto pizza, and tiramisu - everything was amazing! The pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the tiramisu was incredible! Would definitely come again.

We started with the focaccia bread, which was fantastic and a perfect antipasta. Next, we shared pastas and the margarita pizza—all wonderfully delicious as we savoured every bite! We finished off with the smooth tiramisu.

Besides the excellent food, the staff here are such a delight. Our waiter was PJ and he was extremely personable and tended to all our needs. He is running the place incredibly well and efficiently.

We will definitely be back for more when we visit next!

Pretty busy at the dinner hour.service was prompt and food was delivered promptly. Space felt cramped.and a bit too busy.lots of coming and going so I might choose a bit earlier than 6 or after 7. The shared salad and a pasta dish was more than ample for us. The food was good.hot and tasty. Try splitting a Ceasar Salad.a pasta dish and order a side of those great meatballs either as an appetizer or as a side. Followed by a stroll on the beach afterward on a fine evening.pretty nice way to enjoy a good meal!

Best pasta I have ever had. Definitely recommending this place to everyone. Friendliest staff ever also which made you feel super welcomed.

We shared a beautiful dinner for my son's graduation from Law School at UBC. He loves this place! I am a visitor to the area and it did not disappoint! Food, service, atmosphere! Cannot say enough! A memory to remember!

Really friendly staff, good atmosphere and tasty food. I personally feel the portions could be higher for the price you pay, and the wait was longer than we were told (which was already long) but that means they're clearly doing something right so props to them!

Delicious fresh pasta, definitely ask about their special of the day, because that stuff is the bomb. Not too salty, which is always my worry going into a pasta place. Portions are perfect imo, although I'm a little 5"3 asian so you might want to order more if you're starving.

ordered both rigatoni dishes and the boscaiola wasn’t too overwhelmingly creamy - which was awesome - and the arrabbiata was the perfect amount of spicy

My friend and I had a delicious meal here! The service was wonderful and friendly. Highly recommend the Panna Cotta the gluten free pasta was also delicious. Can't wait to go back!

The food was heavenly and they were happy to accommodate allergies etc. If I could rate the server, Kristy, higher than 5 stars I would. She was the best ever.

Love the pizzas here! Been a couple times and had a special and the three chili one. The dough is excellent and the toppings are great too, everything well balanced. The ambience and service were good both times as well.

Came here for the first time tonight. Wine was absolutely beautiful, foccicia and chicken liver was lovely and my Gnocchi was little pillows of joy. Waitress was excellent too.

We will definitely be back!

Similar to most italian spots in the city, it’s pricey but the portion is decent compared to other places. My friend and I split the spaghetti bolognese + ricotta pizza which paired so well together and were both delicious!

Enjoyed a delicious Sunday afternoon meal at Nook today. No reservation, we just walked in and were seated. Shared gnocchi with baby meatballs — this bowl was delicious. Bite size gnocchi along with the flavourful little meatballs in a red meat sauce.outstanding. The arugula salad was a perfect accompaniment - fresh and flavourful. We added a Margherita pizza with the most amazing crust ever - boxed home the leftover slices for later. Perfect Sunday meal. Staff were excellent - friendly, chatty, prompt. Recommend.

From walking in till we left the place we enjoyed everything. Our server was amazing. He recommended a couple of items which is what we got and they were fantastic. We got the sausage pizza and a chicken pasta. For the drinks he made me a spicy tequila drink. It was all good, no complaints ay all. He took great care of us along with his other coworkers. I had to ask him if the tips were shared or not and he mentioned that it was shared. That system works very well there. Everyone did their part and they kept flipping tables. I was very impressed with they system and team work they have going on there. I would highly recommend everyone to give this place a chance to impress you.

We just had an amazing experience at Nook. The manager that greeted as the door was charming and kind. Apparently he's returned from a four year hiatus and we couldn't have been happier. Our server, Katie, was spectacular. Such a lovely lady that helped us understand the menu. The food was a five star performance. I've never had gnocchi so good in my life. We will most definitely be back soon.

Delicious pizza, well crafted tasty ingredients. Perfect thin crust pizza! Fresh salads with complementary and competing components, such as roasted delicata squash and endive. Yummy.

My best friend swears by this place but I didn't feel anything extravagant or exciting. It was ok food and I had a tough time finding parking in that neighborhood.

I love Nook, I've been to the location in Thunder Bay and didn't realize it was a chain.

Between 4 people we ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pastas. Everything came in a timely manner and of course delicious. We asked for chili oil and flakes on the side.

And for dessert we ordered the tiramisu, always a hit!

If you are looking for a great pizza place in Vancouver, Nook should be on your list. They also have a good tiramisu.

Hardest working staff ive ever seen, The experience was amazing. I highly recommend this great restaurant. The food was flavorful and fresh.

Cacio e pepe was the best I've had. Atmosphere is very relaxed yet food and drink menu were very high end (and prices matched). Best Italian in the city

I've been wanting to come here for a long time. Drinks and staff were very nice,
but the pizza was just 2mm thick, thinly slathered with tomatoes and tasteless, and the pasta noodles had a weird texture for us.
I wasn't expecting that.

Amazing gnocchi and pizza! Definitely a great spot for lunch after a morning on the beach or a day at the Vancouver Museum

The cocktails were great! I had the spicy margarita. The food was ok. Was not impressed with my ricotta pizza but the gnocchi was fantastic.

Great food but giving 4/5 as my meatballs weren't cooked to perfection. There were a few hard bites in there but mostly good.

Fantastic staff, great atmosphere, excellent food as always. Adam and Katie treated us to another most enjoyable evening. 10/10 on their covid protocols as well. Thanks for keeping us safe and well fed guys!

It was my birthday last night and my partner brought me here! We had a lovely evening, with server was lovely. They brought excellent wine to sample at first and found the perfect pair. When my pasta came out with mushrooms, they let us take it home (my partner loves mushroom pasta) and completely remade it without the mushrooms. Very fantastic experience. They also gave me free dessert for my birthday. The pasta and pizza were awesome, I highly recommend. The atmosphere was nice, most people were dressed well and the covid precautions were taken seriously.

Five stars before we ever stepped foot into the restaurant! The manager arranged a table for us without a reservation, and was able to to get sat straight away. The server Katie was awesome. My roommate and I ordered the special salad, which was bomb and I got the and Rigatoni. Highly recommend the taramisu for desert! We only had sparkling water because dry November, but will definitely be back for the wine list next month!

Real good service and ambience. The pasta and tiramisu we ordered was good but didnt like the thin crust pan pizza much. Would not recommend.

Had the mushroom pizza and the gnocchi both were delicious. The service was great we were celebrating and anniversary and they added that little extra special touch to make it a memorable night. They have covid protocols well set up and feel safe and comfortable to dine in.

First time trying this place out last weekend and it was excellent! Every dish was fresh and tasted great. My mom's side of the family is full Italian and even my Nonna would have enjoyed the food! Awesome customer service and friendly staff. Will be back for sure!

We ordered takeout tonight and while it came out quickly.it was so salty! We ate it within 10 minutes of picking it up.but wow so salty. Don't think we will back.not paying $50+ for two bowls of salty pasta:/. Texture of the gnocchi was on point though. And the touch of fennel in the other pasta was nice when it wasn't overpowered by the salt.

I always enjoy my visits to this place. It's always weirdly awesome decorated lol keeps you so much engaged to explore the interior and look around. Taste of the coffee and latte is absolutely yum! I usually bring the out-towners here and they've all enjoyed it here so far. It gives you the feeling that you're in Italy for real. I hope Italians feel the same way though.

Wonderful food, fresh pasta, great service! No reservations, so show up earlier or expect to wait for a bit; the wait is worth it! Bit small for standing while you wait for a table, so take a walk at Kits beach, enjoy the area, then enjoy the food and wine!

Pizza is decent but over-priced. The staff are a little stuck up, and the atmosphere is very posh and ching-chimg the sound of money which inspires a stuffy and uninviting place. This is a restaurant for high society types that has a stuffy energy.

Went there with my wife, good vibe, good atmosphere but pizza was just ok.nothing special really simple toppings average dough.

Service was impeccable. As busy as it was the staff was friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain about with food. Pizza and pasta was on point!

The food is as good as anything I ate in Lazio, Tuscany or Umbria. The staff are top notch and the servers knowledgeable. Erin has excellent taste in wine, Cara and Christie bring the sunshine, Benny is great to chat with and all of them are intuitively attentive to everyone's needs, as if each diner is the most important person in there. The atmosphere is great, seating comfortable and the music playlist adds to the great experience. Considering the quality of the ingredients and the care with which it is prepared, it is very reasonably priced. Oh, and, my friend who has a life threatening level of celiacs disease had the best meal ever. Love this place!

The New years celebratory dinner had all the experience that one would wish for.
Wine was good but pricey but that is symptomatic of all alcohol sold in BC.

No reservations taken here. First come, first served. Good food, good service. Was here on a Friday evening and the place was busy & loud - great atmosphere. Short wait before we got a table. Our server was engaging & knowledgeable (I didn't know very much about Italian wines & she was very helpful which was great!). One of a few locations.

The pasta here is great. Hey there early as they don't take reservations, and make sure your while party is there. The place gets busy, bit it is worth the wait.

Wow! The orecchiette meal was incredible. So flavorful. The tiramisu was also divine. A creamier tiramisu vs.a cake-y one. Just the way I like it. Great ambiance too!

Food and service was great but what the heck. At this location, there's no proper waiting area so people waiting for a table spill into the dining area. To no fault of them, i had strangers elbows and shoulders intrude into my personal space as i tried to eat. Ugh.

Absolutely the best staff in Vancouver. The food is always SO good, the ingredients SO fresh, and the atmosphere SO fun! Top marks across the board!

I've used to frequent Nook restaurant on Denman street, recently I've been visiting Kitsilano location. The atmosphere is great and laid back. Margarita is always good. Their thin crust pizzas are similar to how pizzas are made in Italy.

We love this place. Food is always excellent along with the amazing servers. Always our go to place for great Pizza and pasta.

Great spot in the neighborhood for weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner. Nice ambiance and vibe with some grade A staff to take care of all your dining needs. Food was fresh and tasty but a bit on the pricier scale for brunch. Onthe table: burrata and prosciutto; breakfast pizza with roasted garlic; frittata of the day; baked eggs with sausage and tomato sauce.

Nook is situated in the heart of Kitsilano on the West Side of Vancouver. They are owned by the same owners who own Tavolla, and so you should expect the same quality in food, drinks, service - it’s amazing!

We love their Sunday brunch and some of our favourite items to order is the breakfast pizza. We will be back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a good food and great service.

This place is bumpin even on a weekday. Got here at 7 and was seated right away even though the place was packed. It’s extremely loud inside but that’s ok. Just had to speak loudly during dinner. Chicken liver crusting was amazing and a must have. Mushroom pizza had a nice crust. My only issue was the Tonnarelli Cacio Pepe pasta. It was tasty but too dry and wasn’t hot when it came out. Otherwise has a great experience overall

Terrible greeting. Made me very embarrassed for the guest I was visiting with.
Asked the guy how long will it take to get a table to which he responded ‘no idea’ and left.: (
Meantime there are 2 empty seats at the bar empty.
Wish management who runs this joint pay more attention to the foot traffic and train their staff. Very disappointed. Won’t recommend.

Had always thought the pizzas here were top notch. Today's visit was maybe an off day. Prices getting up there.

Great place very busy so plan ahead first time my clothes smelt of the food which meant ventilation not great in the place.

Food was great.prices were a little on the pricey side. Portions were reasonable. Not great.the pizza although delicious was small for 14-16 dollars. As much as I like this place. It will not be my first choice next time
