Nordel Sushi

Went for all you can eat at around 8: 25,5 minutes before they stopped all you can eat (enough time to order) told us they wouldn't serve us even though they close at 930.

The all you can eat dinner. I will come back the only thing is the menu could have abit more choices for the price. I found that the main rolls were something to do with California rolls. It would have been nice to see mabey a chicken or beef roll. Maybe some chicken wings would have been good. My Daughter's is not into California rolls so it was limited for her. Also mabey a foundation drink included. For a drink and dinner 45.00 each. They do have good food. I would really love to bring her back with us. Maybe sometime they can add.

Food is good. But the staff are so sad, moody, depressing, arrogant and rude. Every single one of them and it’s been like that for many years.

Terrible experience. They put a lot of rice in the sushi to make people get full quickly. And when I first entered the restaurant, they told me that a 12 percent of tip is added to the original price. But when we finished eating and pay, they didn't mention about the 12 percent tip. My husband forgot about that and tipped 18 per cent more on the top of it. They said nothing, which was totaled over 30 percent. They ended up taking more percentage tips of that 12 per cent plus the original price, so I expect a lot of people were not realized.

This restaurant is not so big but their food is quite fresh. If you are looking for a big scale all-you-can eat restaurant with variety, this restaurant might not be what you are looking for.

However, if you like fresh tuna or salmon sashimi, sushi or sushi cones, this could be worth trying. Lunch time sashimi limit is 10pcs per person while sushi and sushi cones are offered unlimitedly.

They don't offer a variety of appetizer choices. But I was happy with spinach gomae, sunomono, edamame, deep fried pork gyoza or vegetable gyoza, agedashi tofu, spicy agedashi tofu, prawn tempura, yam tempura, etc.

Their yaki Soba is one of my favorite dish with teriyaki chicken. The beef was a bit mild but the meat was quite fresh. And their rolls are quite big. Order one or two and see if you can have more since the size of their rolls are pretty big.

I love having sashimi and 8-10 pieces of sashimi usually costs $15-$20 bucks in a regular Japanese restaurant. Nordel's weekend lunch all-you-can eat costs about $28.95. But I am happy that I can order 10 pieces of sashimi as well as unlimited sushi, cones, and rolls with fresh and clean quality appetizers.

I have never had an issue before! But today was not it. I always order the same roll, it came and looked different I called the waitress over and she said it’s smoked salmon, I said I didn’t order it and she said “next time when I repeat the order listen to me” I was taken back. Since we got there I wasn’t the first order that was wrong. Another table got up to tell them there’s was too. I still got charged for one of the roll, as she’s like I will only charge you for one and made the other two how we wanted it. But I shouldn’t have to pay for something I didn’t even want or order. No sorry, nothing. Maybe next time write the order down instead of trying to memorize it because I wasn’t the only wrong order!

Customer service was okay, food were pretty high quality for AYCE. Only one thing I noticed was rice was hard, not sure if it was undercooked or pre-made.but overall I would come back!

Food is mediocre but good value for all you can eat. The service is good except the host/manager should not be allowed to interact with humans. Not a pleasant person to deal with. The kitchen staff makes frequent portion mistakes. Interior needs a bit of a reno. Mostly the host brings down the experience and it's hard to recover.

I forgot my phone at the table and I didn’t want to disturb the guests so I asked the girl at the front to check and she was being rude and ignorant she told me to call from there phone even though I told and just walked to the back and never came back I had to walk and ask the people at the table myself. Absolutely ridiculous. Terrible customer service.

I have been to Nordel Sushi with the All you can eat menu multiple times now. Menu variety is slightly limited, but the quality and freshness is consistant. There is ice cream for dessert as well.

I'd recommend Nordel Sushi to people.

Celebrated a birthday and had All You Can Eat. Food was great. The only reason for 4 stars was because some of the food did not come and we had to ask for it and then when we made our second round of order, there was a slight mix up and they sent some items from our first order. Thankfully they didnt charge us for the leftovers. There was no way we would have been able to finish all the food from our first order!

Search online to find an all you can eat sushi restaurant in Surrey. I will say this is the Best Quality for all you can eat sushi in the lower mainland. Lunch was $25.95 per person. The sushi rolls portions were big! Any sushi roll from the ayce menu, the insides will be full unlike other sushi restaurants. I am really surprised since this was suppose to be all you can eat grade, but the rolls build quality were higher and bigger than a la carte menus from other sushi places. So make sure not to over order like other ayce places. The dishes that were suppose to be hot were hot. Sashimi was limited 10pcs per person for lunch. Pieces were bigger than other ayce sushi places. Delicious. The beef yakisoba was amazing. I finished up with 3 scoops of icecream. Also they serve hot tea served in cute aesthetic cups. The waitresses here were friendly and attentive. Our tea cups were refilled multiple times. The only bad thing I could say was the ayce selection was a little small, but the quality of each dish made up for that. Definitely will come back!

Great food, nice service. Bit expensive though. Better than my other sushi buffet places.
Wish they have some days as lunch special.

The atmosphere was OK. Service poor. They never came around to provide more tea and when we asked we had to wait another 10 minutes. Pieces of sashimi were small, Quality of sashimi was ok but had much better. The daikon used as garnish was not fresh.the rice used in rolls was hard and the tempura oily. I definitely will not go back.

This place is incredible! We did the all you can eat sushi, and it was great. Absolutely fantastic quality. The highlight for both of us was the tuna; it was so good I ended up buying an order of tuna sashimi to take home at the end. Our one regret was ordering too many of the bigger, more elaborate rolls—the quality of the ingredients was just that good that the simpler items let them shine through better.
I’ve seen some reviews mention that the all you can eat menu is a bit limited, but for the size of the place, it’s pretty reasonable, and you can look at the menu before going to decide if that’s enough variety for your personal tastes.
For a little place in a strip mall, the decor inside was really nice, too.

Tried this place for the first time last night. We went for the all you can eat option. Really good variety. Really fresh and tasty. Good Service. Overall a great experience.

After Tomokazu on Broadway closed down I thought there goes the last All You Can Eat Sushi. But I discovered this place not that big of a menu but the food was good and the the service was good also.

All you can eat is absolutely worth it. Add in good company and great service and it becomes one of the best brunch experiences on Scott Road! Will definitely recommend. The sashimi is pretty good as well:)

My partner and I popped in for a late lunch and had bento boxes. She had the California and I, the sushi. Pretty good for the price. Unfortunately, I keep forgetting pictures but yeah, we would definitely return.

One of us had the Bento lunch box, while the other had the All-You-Can-Eat.

The All-You-Can-Eat menu is a bit limited at lunch. I tend to prefer the vegetarian rolls, and relatively few were on offer. However, everything, on both orders, was fresh and well-made. (Albeit a bit bland, which seems odd, particularly for a Japanese restaurant.)

Service was quite decent, which is notable, considering how many restaurants seem to have difficulty getting experienced staff these days. The initial order for the All-You-Can-Eat lunch was short on a few of the items, but that isn't unusual with AYCE places, and it's easy enough to simply order more.

The price, even for the Bento box, was not out of line, and the quantity of food was ample in comparison to some other places.

Consistently good, all you can eat menu could use a bit more variety for the price but other than that wait staff is always exceptional and they have good drink specials for Sake and beer. Perfect place to try a bit of everything and it’s a go to for me.

Did the lunch All you can eat. Limited menu, but quality food. I ate my 10 piece limit of sashimi plus multiple other items. Just enough room for ice cream ️

The ayce lunch is now $25.99 and dinner is $35.99 pp.and the menu is super limited for that price. The only pro was the baby eating for a dollar. Average sushi. Getting a table was super slow, one more staff would have been helpful

Very disappointed. I went for all you can eat lunch so we could test out the restaurant. The food was ok, not amazing and the service was not what you would expect when the restaurant is mostly empty.

Came here with 3 of my friends to try out there All You Can Eat option. My expectations were exceeded. The sushi was really tasty and the sashimi melted in your mouth. This is an incredibly good all you can eat option in Surrey! Would definitely recommend and hopefully will be back.

As a former restaurant owner, I HATE doing negative reviews.
I ordered some take-out quite some time ago and got home to see my dish was incorrect. I called in and they said that there would be a credit under my name for my next visit, which is awesome and something any restaurant would do.
My next visit was to eat in. They were unable to find the credit but said they would write down my name and number for my next visit, which I didn't mind as the credit was for a dish that I didn't feel like eating at the time.
I called this evening to find they had no credit listed again. Yikes. Be careful folks!

The food was tasty. We did the all you can eat sushi. We had some issues with the service. It was quite slow, some things we ordered were missing and they brought other things we didn't order. Generally just really slow and forgetful - and ayce was pretty pricey! All the food tasted good.

I've only ordered take out from here (phone ahead or walk in) and never any issues with quality or service. Food is great, good portions, reasonable prices.

All you can eat is back and just keeps getting better every time we go. The price did go up a little too though, but I understand! You can still get the lunch menu cheaper until 4pm or go à la carte.

Good sushi but the Wietnam guy and Taiwanese girl was awesome n friendly, the Korean girl is not friendly, I wouldn't sit on her section. Kitchen stuff is Korean and seam very clean and friendly. We will be back for lunch boxes which is decent prices but all dinner can eat was way expensive then my regular place the Richmind sushi that we go.

The food here is great but then you add an Asahi draft in a frozen glass makes this place unbeatable

Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs our first time here since ayce has been back We've missed coming here and were so excited for our first meal back out in two years. Great sushi/sashimi and lovely staff. Thanks for having us. We will for sure be back:)

The Sushi was very good. Fish was fresh. Didn't need to order all you can eat. The portions were a good size. I would add this place to my list of regular places to visit.

I had the bento box lunch special.i was worried because it was 3: 55pm and lunch was about to be over, but they allowed it.i ordered a chop scallop roll as well.the food was nice, well presented.clean and following health protocols.i'll be come to visit for their all you can eat option soon!

Worst service for the deliveries. I am a skip driver the they take to much time for preparing an order

Best sushi place. Everything is always fresh. Fast service. Delicious food. Kids favorite place to go and eat every Sunday.

Awesome food and great customer service even though their "all you can eat" menu wasn't active

Not coming back here again. Waitress needs training on customer service. We were brought in to our table right away. The table was not clean from previous customers. The place was dark so maybe they missed cleaning it up. My husband kindly ask the waitress to wipe our table and instead she raised her hand pointing to the door to wat there.like commanding a dog! There were 3 clean tables nearby so my husband said, well we'll sit here. I did not feel right staying in and said to my husband, let's go!

The rolls are amazing. I ordered 5 rolls and included was an avacado, salmon, tempura roll with unagi, I am so pleased! ! I haven't had a roll that was as good for such a long time. 10/10, I'll be back every time I'm in Surrey.

Since moving to North Delta, this has been my go to sushi spot! Always friendly, prompt and quick efficient service. Definitely a must try if you're in the area

Decent sushi but I am getting pretty tired of them smushing them into containers smaller than they can handle as it becomes impossible to get the sushi out and it starts to break apart pretty fast. I wish they would use more spacious containers as the sushi is good but it's being crushed in the box.

It was good. But now the sushi is getting WORSE and WORSE. The sashimi does NOT fresh anymore. I came so many times, the lady at the front never greet the custom. HEY, boss! You need more waitress at your restaurant, because nobody help us and we are paying 15% tips, even we order take out. Maybe we will not come back, since sushi from TNT super market has better quality and better price!

Can't say that I know much about sushi or sushi restaurants but we did get good service and my teriyaki chicken was delicious.

Very affordable and great tasting sushi. If you can handle spicy, I definitely recommend the spicy salmon sashimi, the spicy scallop roll, and the inari nigiri sushi. Prawn tempura was great too. Everything pictured came out to roughly $65 all in.

We've been to Nordel approx.once a month for years! We've always been happy with the value and quality of the food here! However, our most recent visit left us very disappointed. We were happy with our bentos (5-star) as usual.

Since businesses are struggling with COVID, we figured to support them and order a bit more than usual. We went with the Special of the Day (i.e. Ika karaage at $9). When it arrived, we were shocked by how tiny the portion was. There were probably about six pieces in the small basket. This was a total rip off! When we asked the waitress if she got our order wrong, she confirmed it was correct, and told us she would tell the kitchen that the portion was too small in our opinion. That was the last time we heard from her until the bill came. At the time of paying, she did NOT ask us how our experience was. She didn't comment on anything. It was simply a pay-and-go impression. Why couldn't she had at least acknowledged that she couldn't do anything?

We came in on July 11th with the plan to tip the staff 30% during this difficult time. Instead, we were left extremely unhappy. We would have been fine if they had just acknowledged it, and apologized. Instead, we got the 'cold shoulder'. It is too bad because we don't live in Delta. We came all the way there just to support businesses that we loved in the past.

Anyhow, the other waiter who has been around forever has been great to us in the past. Too bad we were not assigned to her for this visit. In short, stick to the bentos. Avoid Ika Karage at all cost!

The esthetics were so beautiful especially with the cherry blossom tree above most tables. The service and food was amazing and very quick! Cannot wait to return!

THE THINK IT’S OK TO SERVE RAW SHRIMP!

I ordered the deluxe sashimi. The shrimp was delivered raw… I’ve had a lot of sushi, but I’ve never been served raw shrimp.from my understanding you can’t eat raw shrimp due to the risk of bacteria. I had to do some research to double check. When I called, the lady on the phone kept trying to tell me this was normal.and gave no apology. I’ll be contacting the food safety board in the morning.

Great service. Good food. Good Covid-19 precautions (sanitizer, plastic dividers, masks on waiters). Would go again

Good sushi and Nice ambiance is about all it has going for it. The prices are average but the service is really terrible. They don't check up on you. You have to ask for everything including forks or spoons. They seem to cut order portions every time I go there. They don't like bigger parties 5+ (pre-covid). If you have been there longer than an hour they passively try to rush you out by bringing the bill. I only go there because it's the only local all you can eat sushi place in my area. But for a regular sushi place there's definitely better places in the area.

Their California rolls are delicious. I've ordered their deluxe box and it was perfect for two people.

This has been my go to Sushi restaurant for many years. You won’t be disappointed by the quality of the food and service they keep providing to all of us that keep coming back again and again.

I don't think the chef was having a good day. Asked for little flake crunches and he just dumped it all. Can't even see the shushi.

I love Nordel Sushi. Is there better in Vancouver and Richmond? YOU BET.
But Nordel is 5 minutes from my office, the AYCE during non covid is amazing, but their regular menu is fantastic as well too. I've taken coworkers and clients here many times, the service is wonderful, and the food is good.
I can typically walk out for around $15 for lunch, and I've over eaten.

Why is it a four out of five? It's good, it's not great. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again though.

Before covid I would dine in at Nordic sushi and ever since the pandemic I’ve been getting take out. The takeout is not good at all. I don’t know if they don’t care to make it as good as for the people dining in but I was not pleased at all and will definitely not be returning. The takeout tastes like the sushi is old

Ordered a bento box and it was amazing food with great quality. The food was enough to share between 2-3people. Hats off to the hardworking people at nordel sushi for providing yummy food with great prices
