Graham arrived shortly after I called Norm’s for help with a toilet tank leak. He took care of the problem promptly & was very kind & professional as always.

Devon was very prompt, and he worked very quickly. I am completely satisfied with the work done, especially as it was an emergency hot water tank leak on a Sunday. That means things get expensive quickly, so I appreciated that Devon was head down into the work.

Discovered a leak in my waterline to the house. Norm's responded right away and new line was installed the next day. All employees were very professional and courteous. I would certainly recommend them.

The installer, Graham, from Norm's plumbing is an experienced professional. He got the job of faucet installation done quickly and without any issues. I went with Norm's after talking with several plumbers. I sent pictures of the existing exterior faucet that needed to replaced to several plumbers who I wanted quotes from. Norm's plumbing was the only plumber to address the issue of inserting a new faucet into the existing outer stucco wall. Their solution was to insert the faucet through a 5" x 5" piece of plywood and mount the plywood to the exterior stucco. A very workable solution because it gives stability to the faucet. No other plumber mentioned the apparent stucco issue. I suspect the other plumbers would have attempted to set a new faucet into the existing stucco hole and just fill the surrounding hole with glue in an attempt to hold the new faucet into place.a very poor solution. Which was done to another one of my exterior faucets sometime ago by some unknown installer.
Another selling point for choosing Norms was that they made a point that the company is a honest company.

Norm's plumbing's quote and final price was in line with the other plumber quotes. Although, I wonder how these prices are arrived at by all the Nanaimo Plumbers I contacted? Is there some trade board that sets these prices? As I mentioned each plumber's quote was around $275 for what turned out to be a 30 minute job which is ~$600 per hour. Rather high in my option.

Came on short notice and completed the repair in a timely manner. Serviceman was both personable and professional. Have been using Norms for years for plumbing repairs, gas furnace installation and servicing.

Norm’s plumbing was great! Devon came to replace my hot water tank. Super friendly, nice person. Answered my random questions and was really fast and efficient. When we ran into a little issue for space where my new hot water tank needed to go as space was very limited, we discussed options on how to make sure we could get it to fit and he tore out the baseboard and luckily we managed to squeeze it in without having to remove drywall. Devon cleaned up the area prior to leaving and took the old tank and cardboard with him. Super grateful they could get it done as quickly as they could for my renters. Definitely will use Norm’s plumbing again for any future work!

I highly recommend Norm’s plumbing. Very professional and responded right away. They even came on their days off to check what was the problem to prevent further damaged to our property. The guys that came was very professional keep us an update of what was going on. Very knowledgeable and responsive to all the questions we have. Overall it was very pleasant working with this guys.

I am a tenant. Owner was told unit had heat pump with AC and heat. Actually only electric heat, despite options on the control unit!
Tech was very helpful, showed me how to change filters and showed me where the water heater was and recommended changing access panel screws with toggles for access in case of a linkage.
I have used Norm's 4 times now, always happy with service, will use again if needed.

His service was incredible!

He not only promptly called to know if our hot water tank’s was still under warranty by Monday morning 8am. He confirmed it was and installed a new hot water within hours.

And had serviced our kitchen drainage right after that needed replacement.

Dean was awesome! On time, polite, thorough and did a great job cleaning up after the job was finished.

After Home Depot stiffed us (showed up to replace our hot water tank, saw that it was a bit complicated and just refused to do the job), we called Norm's. From the first phone call to complete install was under 7 hours. Don was friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. Although it was more expensive than the Home Depot quote, I am happy that we went with a local company who will most likely stand by their work, should there ever be a problem. Highly recommend this company!

I’ve called Norms Plumbing a number of times for small and larger jobs. I will likely call them again. They are professional, prompt and they stand behind their work. Their prices are fair. It’s important to me that they stay in business as warranties are good only if the trade can stay in business.

I will not use Norm's again. Tech that arrived for a boiler quote was fine but the business arm charged me for an hour's service call for 30 mins of discussion and information gathering and a quote that was more than double the competition. I've now had to waste hours of additional time going through their phone system and emails to try and fight an incorrect charge. My understanding is the tech has come under scrutiny for the unpaid invoice which I feel is inappropriate. I won't be using them for anything further.

Service was fast and timely. But charging $145 for 15 minute repair is an outrageous example of price gouging.

Tech was polite and professional. He showed up on a weekend for emergency service and our family couldn’t be happier with the service that was provided. 5 stars.

Called on a Saturday to check malfunctioning furnace. Arrived within 30 minutes and delivered top service - professional, knowledgeable, friendly. Fixed the problem and restored heat, then corrected an issue with our gas fireplace, all within an hour. Great value!

Rod was amazing. He spent 2 hours with us explaining heat pumps, showing us how to do regular maintenance and showed us how to maximize energy efficiency by exposing return vents, using fans and thermostat settings. He efficiently sorted out getting the parts we need. We have never had a heat pump before and lived in a different climate, he explained everything very clearly and now it all makes sense. The service was perfect.

Devon and Hammish did a excellent job replacing old furnace oil tank with a new one. Courteous, friendly and prompt. Very pleased with their workmanship.

He repaired a water leak. The copper pipe had two pinhole leaks and water was dripping into the crawl space.

Quick responce to service request (same day). Efficient coodination from service request to scheduling service call. Recieved a text message informing "I'm on my way". The job was completed in a short time. He even cleaned the floor before the toilet was installed!

I am amazed and grateful to Norm's for helping me out of a very difficult situation. The week before I was having open heart surgery (end of Sept), my furnace gave up the ghost. I needed a new furnace but because of world wide shortages, it was going to take 4-6 weeks. Norm's went above and beyond to help me. Somehow they were able to find a furnace and arrange 3 trucks to come and install it in one day. They managed to do this shortly after I got home from hospital. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and compassion.

When i booked the appointment I was under the impression they would be coming to clean the ducts/vents and they came and did a quick inspection and left and I'm right back where I started needing my vents cleaned and they charged me 150$ for the inspection.

Polite and professional service with proper safety measures. Installation of my new water heater was quickly done at a reasonable price. I will definitely use this company again.

Great service! They returned my call for service promptly and let me know when they could come, with a time window. On the day of the service, Keegan called & let me know he was on his way. He swapped out my gas range & dishwasher. It was pleasure to deal him, great employee!
I have already booked another call to install a new gas line in my rental house.

Temporary hose hookup was fine, but was told to get someone to build above ground cedar boxes to to hold new water line and the contact them. This was to fix main water line break. No examples or referrals. Terrible, would never use them again.

We have used Norms Mobile for years to service our heat pump, install water heater, etc. They are a great company!

Todd did a great job repairing our condenser. He found the problem quickly, and the repair didn't take long. He was pleasant to deal with. I've dealt with Norm's in the past and they've been great. I highly recommend them.

Our plumbing system started making a terrible howling noise every time a toilet was flushed. I called Norm's to arrange for a repair. A service manager called me back, explained how to fix it, and gave me an on the spot estimate in case the DIY approach did not work. Tried it and it worked. I am completely amazed how helpful and honest these people are. I am pleased to recommend their service without reservation.

This work was a problem with the first plumber on the job not being as knowledgeable as I would have wished. The second plumber was very competent & fixed the problem. I felt overcharged & spoke to the owner who promised a refund.

Rob inspected our heat pump system. He also confirmed that our hot water heater was leaking. Travis arrived soon after and replaced the leaking hot water tank. Same day service. Both technicians were very professional and courteous.
