I have been practicing business law for over twenty years, from asset purchases and share purchases to franchising and joint ventures, and had the distinct pleasure to work with Jonathan Vroom of North Shore Law; he represented the other party but it was one of the most professional and pleasant experiences i have ever had with opposing counsel. He advocated for his client well and laid out his positions fairly and with legal acumen and calmness. I of course will recommend myself but if another lawyer was needed I would not hesitate to recomment Jonathan and his team there. They have an Articled student there now, Pauntehah, who is prompt, efficient, courteous and also reflective of the courteous professionalism I experienced with them. Great people!

Started off great going through the process of my separation agreement. I emailed Ms. Ingram in April to ask about applying for a divorce on the date of our 1 year separation. My questions were answered and was told to follow up closer to the date of 1 separation. (October 24th 2024). Emailed Ms. Ingram Sept 7th.no response for 2 weeks and only received a response after reaching out to the firm to ask if she still worked at this firm. I was told the cost but my questions regarding the process were not answered and was told she was very busy. I sent another email the same day asking how to process works and then once I am aware I could send the retainer fee. Again no response for 9 days. Which I then heard from her paralegal. I was again told the price and asked to send the retainer. I was told the documents would be prepared after the retainer was sent and ready to be filed for October 24th. I again sent another email back asking for what the process was (does my ex need to come in to sign papers, do I need to come in, is there extra costs, do we need to come in together). After this email I was finally informed of the process after several emails asking the same question and 1.5 months later I get the answer. I was then told once the papers are served to my ex husband we would have to wait another 30 days until the papers could be sent out. (originally I was told everything would be ready to be sent on October 24th the date of our 1 year separation). Which is extremely frustrating as I was never told this and had the hopes that my divorce would be applied for on October 24th as the papers would be done and ready to be sent for this date. Which now we are the middle of October and we haven't even started the process. Which has now put a delay to my divorce being official. As both parties in this wanted this divorce to be done as soon as possible, we now have chosen to use a different lawyer who can answer our questions in timely manner and professionally. I would have liked to know form the beginning in September when I sent the first email that they were to busy to take on my case, I would have simply chosen another lawyer to get this done as fast as possible. Extremely frustrated to say the least. Respectfully would not use this firm if you are wanting to peruse getting a divorce done in a timely manner and have questions that need to be clarified.

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with them.
I felt misled as I didn’t get the proper explanation and direction beforehand although I had sent questions through emails. Instead of getting answers, I was told I was asking too many questions and should let them start the process. It gives the impression it was done like this cause they knew I could possibly decide not go ahead with the case if I was aware of all the drawbacks.
Very upset with it, very upset with the results I got, very upset with the way they charge. I do not recommend it.

I was very pleased with Bahareh Danaei’s work in my family matter case and would highly recommend her services. She provided me with intelligent and well researched advice. Her calm and analytical approach throughout the case was effective and much appreciated.

I can not say enough good things about Ms. Simington. She is honest, well organized, and always puts your best interest first. She knows the law extremely well and puts all her effort into your case for the best results. I highly recommend Ms. Simington.
