North Vancouver City Library

Perfect place for those who love books and studying.
The only problem is that it is a little noisy, specially at ground floor!
I also expected more speedy internet connection in there!

The library was filled with lots of Lego Houses from the city. Very interesting and beautifully done. Staff was friendly.

It's a treasure in North Vancouver. People are lovely and respectful. The best environment for children's growth and development.

Went to go use the recording booth it was booked for 2 weeks. The lady on the phone never mentioned you have to book it online, kind of a waste of a trip. Booth sure looks neat from the pictures though

While I understand that libraries must carry books with varied agendas, it seems odd to me that they had JK Rowling’s Robert Galbraith series and “How Jordan Peterson is Saving Western Civilization” on the staff pick shelf, while this library offers a 2SLGBTQIA+ community hub. Seems hypocritical?

The receptionist was really welcoming and the entire library has a very nice feeling to it.

This library is professionally kept and held to the standards. Great service, good location and friendly stuff. The only complain I have is some of the group study desks on level 3 don't have power outlets.

I was able to find the books that I was looking for and enjoy reading them. The public library was very clean, had a nice seating area and offers many services including printing and scanning.

The pep rally for the tv show that was filmed here was fun to watch in real life and then in the actual movie

An old lady librarian was so sensitive. She didn't care about noisy parents and babies who was kept making a lot of noise, she even laughed in a loud voice with them, but cared so much about me putting my feet on the sofa under my jacket. I of course took off my shoes, she definitely think my socks are dirty. I'm confident my socks are clean as my pants. I wonder if there's a rule or policy regarding to this.

Lovely peacefull place to read my favorite book and sink in my thoughts
but sometimes on a specific hours there are kids or classes here so a bit noisy
also make sure to get warm clothes cause here is not warm enough

Spent 10 minutes looking for a book that wasn't in the section where it was supposed to be. Had to ask someone for help. They finally located the book and when I went to check it out, the computer said there was a hold on it and they wouldn't let me check it out!
If there was a hold on the book, why was it on the shelf?
WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. I hate the people that work here.they are doing a poor job. They can do alot better!

It’s not the first time I’ve been asked to relocate by their staff. This time l booked the silent room for two hours, but after 10 min the lady on the second floor came and said, I’m sorry this room just booked by someone else. Is saying “SORRY” enough to cover everything?

Very nice library. Spent the day at the quiet work area that had lots of private desks with power. However the pay parking rates are atrocious for a public library! Plus, the pay meters don't work, so you need to use the app (and the rates on the app are higher than at the meter).

Well used and well loved by all. Great meeting spot out in front in good weather. Parking is poor.only one or two free spots underground for a quick book return.otherwise pay parking.

It's a nice place to study and reading. Our students love it there and the staffs are so kind and helpful.

A great place for reading, studying, learning basic skills offered by staff and guests. Accordino to my positive experience, here you can easily relax because people are friendly as well as professional. The environment is clean and quite for the most. Only a little problem: the toilet is often dirty (sometimes very dirty) because of street users, but this is the price to pay in a friendly, supportive, and peaceful place.

Consistently rude staff including manager on the 1st floor. Would rather micro manage printing and invade people’s privacy by looking at personal documents then fix the debit payment on their printers

My kid has improved since starting at Dio Piano School.
The teachers at this school are highly educated and experienced.
We are so happy finally to find this piano school.
