Dr. Der has been fantastic at easing my anxiety about dental work. He's professional, and accommodating, even donated a bunch of dental supplies to my non-profit organization to distribute to caregivers at BC Children's hospital. Highly reccommend.

Great service and they have a friendly staff. Easy place to access with lots of parking downstairs. Michelle was a great hygienist.

The newest hygienist Kirsten is wonderful. Gentle on the tough stuff and gives you options if you have sensitivity. Great bed side manner. I didn’t have a great experience with previous hygienist who isn’t there anymore.

My favourite dentist since I was a kid, kind and friendly environment. Would absolutely recommend going here.

I personally dread going to the dentist, but the hygienist, Corina and the dentist, Dr. Der made it a lovely and pain-free experience. They were super friendly and cared a lot about what I was feeling. Thank you!

Being able to see a dentist one day after I had called, considering how this was an urgent matter was incredibly helpful. The staff respect your time as much as their own and their seamless intake was evidence of that to me. I haven't ever walked out of a dentists office for a check up that quickly in my entire life. (I mean that in a good because.who likes being trapped in a chair for longer than neccessary)

I've been coming here for years. The front desk staff are always friendly and quick. Dr. Der is great! All the hygienists are great, but Michelle is the best! She's super gentle with your teeth, explains what she's doing and is so friendly. Give Dr. Der and his team a call if you need a new dentist.

This was my first visit at this dental office. And it actually was an absolute positive and pleasant experience. The doctor and the entire staff were real nice and friendly. The doctor was one of the most sincerest and honest dentists i have ever been to. I recently moved from LA, and I will certainly keep coming back here for all my future dental works!

I am a very anxious patient and this was my first visit at tbe clinic. Michelle, my hygienist, was truly incredible. So gentle and kind. I also met Dr. Der and he is the most kind and honest dentist. I would be the last person to say this, but I am looking forward to my next appointment. Beyond grateful to have found this clinic. If you are uncomfortable in the dental chair, the staff at this clinic is amazing and the place to go.

I have been going here for over 30 years and appreciate the staff. Dr. Lee had been my dentist since I was 7 years old. However he has since retired and today I had Dr. Der and was very happy with him.

Me and my family had a great experience at North Gate Dental Center. The receptionist were polite and informative. If one has any dental problem Dr. Der is the dentist to go to as not only is he a great, friendly dentist but gives the correct diagnoses. I had gone to another dentist before but wasn't happy with the service so i travelled to Burnaby to Northgate Dental Center. 5 stars.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Der for as long as I remember. Top notch facility, amazing staff, they are very patient and kind. Dr. Der is super knowledgeable and very passionate about dentistry, it shows in his patient care. Michelle is always very friendly, it’s such a treat to always see her at the front!

I've been going here since I was very young and I wouldn't change it for the world the staff is always amazing they get to know you and make you feel at home, dentists aren't so scary anymore I guess haha.

From the time I first walked in the door, til the moment I came back seconds after leaving, as I had forgotten my anti-biotic prescription on the counter, everyone was very competent, friendly and welcoming This is despite the fact I'd not been in for at least a couple years. No hint of judgement whatsoever.

The dental assistant was apologetic for being new, but I thought no reason to be so, she did a great job and made me feel at ease the entire time. I'm pretty chill and pain doesn't affect me like most people, so I wasn't scared or suffering at any point. Even during the wisdom tooth extraction. That said, I've witnessed staff in the past, (at a different office), actually be the source of anxiety prior to a procedure.

Since my usual dentist Dr. Lee was on vacation, Dr. Der stepped in and immediately felt like a good fit. We all knew time was tight to pull this chomper out, and he got right to it. While there was an expediency to his speech, he was calm and fluid with his actions. He didn't make it feel rushed, or otherwise compromising in safety or quality of his work.

Given my resistance to drugs/freezing and predilection for teeth breaking into pieces during extraction, I shared this with Dr. Der and he was gracious for the information. No ego or puffery here.

I did receive instructions on after care, as well as good advice on suggested dietary restrictions for the next couple days to the week.

All in all I am very pleased with my visit yesterday, and would be happy to return to Northgate Dental when I next need their services.
