For a golf course to think they have the right to charge a group a fee for a sudden death of a family member, get off your high horse. Especially for people who have played the course for many years prior. Great customer service, will highly be avoiding trips here in the future. Much prefer the staff at a better club such as Morgan Creek or Riverway.

What an incredible night for our family and friends for my husbands Surprise 55th Birthday at Northview Golf and Country Club. I can not say enough about the venue, the food and the service beyond measure. From the bottom of my heart thank you for making it so simple to have our event at your breathtaking venue. Your team was efficient on timelines, service and very courteous to all of us. The patio, the firepits, the sunset views created an atmosphere for all of our guests. Lisa Marshall and Jasna Rowse ensured every meticulous detail was looked after, the site visit, details of food presentation etc. Accommodating our vendors and special requests I can not once again thank you enough.

This course has gone way downhill. We booked at 7: 50am on a Friday and apparently they like to start groups on 1 and 10. Apparently, the ground crew didn't get to the back nine so they just loaded all groups on the front and forced everyone into a massive wait (about 4 mins between groups). Marshal tried to justify it over and over saying we were only 25 mins behind normal pace.

They raised their fees and have lowered the quality by a large margin. There are tons of better courses around, at a much better green fee than this nickel and dime gong show. I would avoid it unless you really, really wanna play Northview for some reason.

Excellent venue, great food. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Terri is a great organiser and very helpful.

Since we had such gorgeous weather till mid October we dined on the terrace which has breathtaking mountain views as well as the golf course. Service was excellent as were our meals!

Price keeps going up, but conditions and pace of play are getting worse. Bring a lunch and dinner, expect a 5 hour round

Went for a work function, the staff there were great. My wife's wine glass was never empty and the food was really good.

Played the canal course. Teed off at 7: 25 am. Beautiful course. Worked maintenance for 4 years on private courses. Bunkers kept really nicely, fairways in great shape. But ive never seen the holes cut so poorly. Edges were all beat up. Dirty around the new cups. Take some pride in placing your pins and cleanliness of the greens.

Sign says “everyone welcome” yet if you don’t have a tee time you can’t practice on the range. Hardly welcoming

The course was outstanding, been here before, I just wish some if the greens were managed a bit better.a few looked a little rough.

The golf and facilities are actually 5 star. No question. The 2 star rating is directly tied to the management and their policies, post Covid, leaving us golfers (literally every golfer I have in my network) with the impression us local golfers aren't appreciated. Covid was a game changer and businesses needed to adjust. Get that. But NV hasn't reopened to the welcoming, fully open facility we all enjoyed pre pandemic like all the other golf courses in the area have. For instance, you can't use the driving range or practice facility unless you have a tee time. Or, if one of your group has to bail last minute due to work, or other life realities that get in the way, they still insist on charging you $35 for the inconvenience. Or, a golfer can't book a tee time by calling the pro shop unless they have an account set up (with credit card). And if you do call and try to set up a time without an account, they make you feel like a second class citizen (as one of my colleagues just told me). Staffing may be part of the problem. I think most of us can appreciate that. But, bottom line, NV's management, their decisions and they way people are being treated has many of us in the local golf community feeling underappreciated, which ultimately has us booking elsewhere.

For $85 + tax for a senior playing midweek I would think that ball washers and sufficient rakes in the sandtraps (which were not in great shape) would be a given! Plus $10 for a small bucket of warm up balls?

Still a great course but the staff and marshalling is terrible. Had a tee time at 8: 40 in the morning. Called they day before at 9: 00am and couldn’t cancel one person off our tee time. It is absolutely absurd. We managed to find another and play the round. Understanding our tee time was at 8: 40 we got there 8: 00am to hit the range and get some puts in. We get to the marshal stand and he says we are the next group up…. Time 8: 15am even though they had a full tee sheet apparently. In hindsight we should have just said no we are going to go at our time. They where pushing groups through without give the appropriate amount of time between groups. We where waiting on each hole and got hit on from the group behind twice. They apologized and where equally as frustrated as we where. For $155 you would expect better. Really disappointing considering the price and what this course is supposed to be.

Good course and very well maintained. But they wont allow you to reserve a tee time over the phone which is a little odd and the lady was quite rude when speaking to her on the phone about it. Also, please keep in mind that they do a $65 twilight rate but make you pay $55 for a cart (In the daytime a cart is only about $20) so essentially it’s a scam since you end up paying the full rate anyways.

Played Northview both courses for many years always a good time with friends but now the green fees have gotten out of touch. Also can't come in once in a while to use the range to get better without joining the Palmer club at a cost of 399.00.i will be spending my golf time in the future at another course

I’ve golfed this course more times than any other course in the lower mainland, mainly because it’s never difficult finding a tee time.
They don’t take care of the course in any way, shape or form.there are puddles on the greens and fairways, mud pits just off the fairways and grass in the rough that hasn’t been cut in months, yet they charge $125+ tax per round, don’t allow singles or doubles to book unless it’s the day of, and they have brutal cancelation policies.
I hope northview sees this review and makes the much needed changes across the board because it has so much potential to be one of the best golf clubs in the lower mainland.

Nice courses, but the rates have gone out to lunch. I payed less to play tower ranch in the dead of summer last year, and this course is definitely not tower ranch.
Whoever sets the green fees needs to give their head a shake.

What a beautiful well maintained course! The drainage is amazing considering all the rain we have had this year so far. I’ll definitely be back!

Went for dinner in a Friday Nite 5 people ordered a bacon cheese burger which is called the Northvuew burger but it has mushrooms. Asked to have burger with no mushrooms waiter repeated order back to me.burger arrives looks good toothpick had 4 pickles going through the bun.burger loaded with mushrooms finding this after putting my pickles inside my burger sent it back they brought me a new burger.all the cook did was remove the mushrooms and sent it back for my consumption.open up burger was very disappointed to find that it was the same burger.how do I know all my pickles were still inside the burger with a new toothpick with more pickles never will I eat there again very poor professionalusm by the cook and waiter.poor service unsatisfactory food.dissapointed customer

Buyer beware.make sure you have all guests in your tee time or you get dinged a 35% penalty on a green fee. Within 24hrs life can cause disruptions affecting golf times but that doesn't appear to apply here anymore. Great course but the ethics need some work. I'll be spending more time at Morgan creek after today.

We always enjoy these courses but much like other people have mentioned, the prices are no longer in line with the experience or conditions. I understand this being the wettest spring in many years, and the greens were great, maybe just price accordingly. It feels like with Redwoods closed it's time to gouge everyone. Restaurant was closed for lunch as well.

Gonna have a lot of available tee times this summer with these mile high green fees. Make sure you clear the tumbleweeds!

For a premier golf course and beautiful facility is a shame they also hired the worst on course marshal I ever experienced! We are the first group out on the course and was told our pace of play was way too slow, we (foursome) finished in exactly 4 hour even the score card indicated 4.5 hour for the round! The marshal rudely told us he would shake our hand if we could finished in 4.5 hour on the 18 green himself… what a terrible experience on such a nice course, can’t help but thinking if we want to play there again and treated liked that! I hope no golfers ever experienced it cause it was such a bad thing to share!

Beautiful PGA course. Friendly staff & ambient Clubhouse. A must visit to treat your self, friends & your soul!

Awesome view of the golf course, East Surrey and the mountains if you're fortunate enough to have good weather. NV burger was very tasty.

Least enjoyable round of golf I’ve ever played. Teed off at 2: 20 and finished at 7: 30 without even playing the last hole. Have heard stories about pace of play being an issue but never imagined it would be this bad. Will never go back.

Seems like they have given up with taking care of the course.

Multiple ponds in bunkers. Some bunkers almost completely grown in with weeds. Such a shame after once holding a PGA tour event that they have let the course go so badly.

Also they might still be the only course that has the dumb cup protectors in so you are unable to remove the pin.

Played the Ridge Course Feb. 13, it is in shockingly poor condition, they are not even trying to keep it up.

Good food and absolutely the most friendly and professional wait staff. Duffy's has been a family favorite for many years

Course is unplayable and at those rates they are getting away with murder.

Highlight of the day was the proshop not telling anybody that they would start #10. This was quickly followed up in two hours when another group tee'd off #1 infront of us when we finished #18.

I would rank the condition and experience of the day lower than anything I've ever experienced, this was worse than any low class American municipal facility located in the midwest.

The very least they could afford to do is rake at least one bunker. What a joke.

Greens condition are horrible for the price tag, more bumps than a dirt road.
You would think the amount of revenue they brought in the last couple years, would spend some on maintains.

Nice course. Beautiful grounds and mountain scenery. New carts. Duffy’s restaurant was a great place to grab a bite to eat & drink after our round. Staff were all masked in restaurant and pro shop.

Really the poorest and greediest online booking policy and procedures I have EVER used.
Reading though online instructions there are way too many rules and procedures that ONLY benefit the course financially and to cut down on expense to them screw the customer.
It was an easy decision to book at nearby Morgan Creek for an extra $15. I won’t golf here again until they fix up booking policies the are hiding be C19. Wait until USA/CAD border reopens and they lose their customers

It was a really great experience and I can see why people would want to join. When you get there they provide free food and beverages at certain times. They had a little welcome desk where you could grab golf club hats and tee shirts. Nearby there was also a putting green and a couple of other holes to play if the weather is bad or we didn't want to wait for people who were in front of us.

Had a great time playing the Ridge course this summer. Early morning fog dissapating and very fast and fun greens. One of the best courses available to the public in the lower mainland.

I’m a trash golfer, but don’t take it away from the course. Lost 8 balls on the first 9 holes. Beautiful spot, great people. I’ll come back when I’m better lol

It is a shame that 1 of the nicest courses in the lower mainland is now run by a bunch of crooks. I had a 12 o'clock tee time yesterday and as I arrived at the course it started to rain. I was very excited to show my dad the ridge "Home of the Air Canada Open" as he is visiting from Ontario and a huge Mike Weir fan. We made the decision that it was too much rain for it to be enjoyable and decided to call the pro shop. When I told them that we were not interested in golfing in the rain I received a "too bad so sad" reply and was told that my credit card would be charged in full for both rounds. I understand that covid has changed the the demand and the fire booking systems/ policies and that cancelation policies are required.but never in my life have I experienced a full penalty for canceling due to inclement weather.this is theft. All I was offered was a 4 for 3 coupon that must be used within the next month. I will not be bringing 3 of my friends to your location to be subjected to your thievery. I will not be returning at all, nor will I recommend your business to anyone. Your policies are unaccommodating your staff are rude and there are many other beautiful golf courses to choose from that are not going to steal.

Beautiful courses, always well maintained and nice staff, unfortunately I'm not sure what's happening lately but the pace of play has drastically changed, leading my group to think they're way over booking now. Too bad

Marshall have no idea of customer service. We had our team tournament here today. All our team members were on pace and finished their rounds under 4: 15 minutes today. On hole number 12 it became dangerous as our team members were teeing off and the Marshall just drove he’s cart right in front of them and yelling at them while they were teeing off. We are considering cancelling our next tournament here because of this.

They don’t let you book tee times as a twosome because they want the money from
A foursome…… awesome business model used to golf here all the time. Definitely not playing there again.

Great track, good price for twilight. Rented some great clubs.

We celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary at a restaurant in the Northview Golf and Country club. The atmosphere was very relaxing and COVID-19 safe. I had Gnocchi (hand made with a porcini mushroom sauce and warmed olives and marinated feta as a starter. My better half had Linguine with Tiger Prawns in a pesto sauce. We both had Creme Brûlée for dessert. The food was consistently great, a real treat.

The service went a long way to make our meal even more enjoyable. And to top the experience off, the prices were very reasonable.

The course looks nice however for the amateurs' 5-6 inch rough? Come on guys make it a bit more friendly.it was like the set-up for the old Greater Vancouver Open.wont go back, for 100-120$ you'd think they could afford to cut the rough to make it more fun!

Beautiful club that is well groomed. I can only review on Duffey's Sports Grill. They have indoor and patio. The patio overlooks into part of the course. The service is quick and the food was delicious.

Good food, lovely Golf Course! Sunday brunch is fantastic.well worth the price and the food is consistently tasty. We have gone here quite often and have always had a nice meal in both the dining room and the lounge.

What an amazing place. 2 top notch courses, one of the best driving ranges around, and a really good restaurant.

I come here to golf and use the range more than anything and it truly is a great layout. Both courses are difficult but not so difficult that a mid or even high handicapper couldn't play here. It feels like a course that should be member only. In fact i have played Richmond Country Club (which is really nice) but you need to pay thousands a year just to be able to get in the gate.

Show up early to use the range, play a round of golf on one of the nicest tracks around, then stay after for a burger and fries and a few brews.

Class act in the clubhouse, pro shop staff and the course. I drive from Vancouver to play this course as the whole place is awesome. Whether you want more of a challenge, play the ridge, or a more open style course, good for those like me who can be often a fairway or 2 over. Great courses and staff

Duffey's is a great place to eat, views across the golf course are beautiful. Food is good, as is the service.

Didn't golf so strictly reviewing my Christmas party experience here. The room was quite spacious and the buffet dinner was excellent. The place was very nicely decorated inside and out. Only real complaint would be the lack of table service towards the end of dinner. Nobody came around to refill coffee or water so you had to go line up at the bar to get it. A couple of tables on the side with water pitchers and coffee would've been a welcome addition to the party. Other than that it was great

The food & service were wonderful and the views terrific on a bright sunny day which was also my B'day celebration lunch.

I just Came with friends for Sunday Branch, the price is 28.95 for adults and 14.95 for kids, the food quality is good for the price. However, we had 2 kids in our group, one is 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl. They both did not eat much.a kind of waste of money. LOL, Plus this is a beautiful place so probably next time I should come by golf courses.

Trash never eat the food here kitchens is disgusting food is cheap honestly the place should he shut down there's mold all over the building.

I don't play golf but i came here to eat at the buffet restaurant. Price is reasonable. Good food lots of variety to choose. Service is excellent. They have liquor also inside the buffet which is not included except water. Great location nice atmosphere and view is awesome. They accept wedding venues here too.

I don't golf a lot so I'm not the best person to evaluate a golf course. I was there for an industry event. The event was good and the facilities were nice. The clubhouse is starting to look a little dated so for a wedding you might want to make sure it suits your taste. The food was decent and the service staff were nice. The golf course itself was good. A few challenging holes where we lost some balls, but otherwise good enough for casual players. Since it was an event, I didn't pay anything so you might want to check pricing in advance.

Twilight rates are extremely high still for a round at 3-4 pm. Anytime I considered playing this summer I always saw the online booking wide open and it shows why. 60-69 dollars for twilight in the summer is way too much. The course would rather stay empty then have players spending money on food and drinks. I remember when you could get on for 39 for the canal and 49 for the ridge after 4-5 pm in the summer and still be Able to finish.

Played the Ridge course for the first time. The course was in good shape and very challenging for a player of my calibre, but I still had a great time. Some really nice signature holes.

Attended wedding there and was very nice sitting and good delicious food buffet. Also went with my family for a Sunday Brunch. Also delicious food the only thing I don't like the don't serve Chicken or Beef on the brunch. Only pork

I didn't play golf. I went there for a lunch. I ordered a tuna poke but the tuna has a fish smell so i couldn't eat.so i took it back and ordered a chicken wings.unfortunately that chicken tasted also not so fresh.

Beautiful manicured golf course! In great shape, even in the rain the greens roll smooth and fast. Two full courses to choose from; wide fairways of the Canal Course to tight tree-lined fairways of the Ridge Course. Always a delight!

The course is second to none. The course itself is simply the best near Surrey, Langley, coquitlam and burnaby. I paid 61 for early bird special. I can't complain.

Both golf courses are in excellent shape, the marshalls are awesome and don't act like ruthless bad cops out there and there are no beer guzzling fat guys hitting into you. Keep up the good work.
