NuHair Medical Hair Transplant Centre

This is my second time being treated by Nuhair. The first time was in 2021 which I had done when they had a clinic in Winnipeg (see my previous review). I needed more work done and did not hesitate to make arrangements to travel from Toronto to Vancouver at Nuhair.

Everyone was professional, courtesy and nice. Dr. R and staff were wonderful to deal with. You need to have your pre-op blood work done as well as ECG so make sure you get them down before you do your surgery especially if you are coming out of province.previously had 3000 grafts done and wanted to do another 3000 grafts which will be my final surgery.

Overall I am so happy to trust Nuhair with all my procedures, if only I had more grafts to harvest I would do a third procedure.

I paid for 2500 grafts and received perhaps 800.

The technicians were too busy talking during the transplant process to notice that I was flinching in pain and asking for help. Spent hours feeling my scalp being operated on.

Am willing to revisit this review if they're open to talking about this - Steve from Nuhair seemed like a legitimate businessman.

I am pleased with my results six months after the transplant. It's hard to believe how much hair I am growing, the hairline looks like I had before I lost my hair. I wish I had done the transplant sooner.

I came in wanting a hair transplant. The staff were very nice, they explained everything to me and conducted themselves very professionally by walking me through the steps, the doctor and assistants were very gentle during my procedure, and my results look great thus far; I would buy again from Nuhair and probably will have a second session soon for my crown.

Very happy with the four and a half-month results so far. The hairline looks natural and has good growth so far. I have had some positive feedback from friends, family and feel more self confident. I would recommend Nuhair to anyone. The staff and doctor were great.

Its scam beware! After paying 4k over a year ago as downpayment.no appointments were set. No call back no response from anyone. So please stay away from this company.

Very poor service. I got my hair transplant from them couple years ago, 0% result. I should have gone to a better hair transplant provider and paid little more money to get better results. I paid whole amount upfront and they delayed my transplant almost 8 months from actual promised date. They had no shortage of excuses. Eventually when I fed up and started asking for money back then all of a sudden they gave me a transplant date at Winnipeg. Looked like they rented some private clinic there. They started my transplant later than scheduled time and then they started rushing because they were paying my flight ticket back to my home and the didn't want me to miss that flight. Whole transplant experience was terrible. They ended up putting in 1000 less grafts (in their own words but in actual it was more than that) than what I paid for. Anyways after a year when I didn't get any results, I contacted them for refund about 1000 grafts which they accepted they put in less, they stopped answering my messages and calls. So after all this bad experience my advice is don't waste ur money, pay little more and get better service.

They don’t seem to have their act together. After a promising online consultation I was invited for an in-person consultation at the Vancouver location. When I arrived the front door was locked so I used the buzzer that went unanswered. I called the number I was given during the online consultation and someone tried to find my appointment and said they’re sending someone to get me. After 20 min waiting in the cold I call again. Someone else picks up and says this location is closed today. I explain my frustration to them and all they say is “Okay”, not even an apology. Smh

Shaving the back and sides of my head was the only thing I was nervous about but like the specialist promised, I was able to pony tail my hair to conceal the area and no one knew while it grew out. Steve is simply the nicest, honest and sincere person - I felt no pressure with him and Joe really helped make the process so smooth. The entire staff the day of were on time, ready and were and you can tell they have spent a lot of time working together. They also have quite a few videos that people dont seem to watch or missed which was the sales feature for me and if I would almost give them 4 stars for that because their videos should be front and center. Either way - the price vs results are easily the best in Canada! 4.5 stars!

After my phone consult, I went in last weekend and everything seemed as advertised. 1160 Burrard is a medical building across from the hospital, but with two separate doors locked on weekends, and only the residential side with buzzers. The review down below (vicky Rag.) is strange as she said she pressed a buzzer, but none of the doctors offices has a buzzer, so she probably went to the wrong door and got her appointment mixed up. Steve the hair consultant went through aspects of the on-site surgery, and I had a chance to speak with the doctor and head nurse briefly when they looked at my head. I was told they now offer weekend surgeries with patients mostly from BC and western Canada. Not being keen to travel overseas, I will be booking a date in 2022.

I am 9 months post op (3000 FUE) as surgery was Mid-April and could not be happier with the results with more grafts still growing so not my final result. Rather than writing I am attaching my photos (before and after) as pictures are worth more than anything I could write!

I love the staff of NuHair. They provide an exceptional service. I loved everything they did from the begining, like scheduling (in times of Covid), keeping me posted, showing up on time, doing post reviews, answering questions etc.). They went above and beyond to make sure that I had all the information to make informed decisions. They provide quaility service and staff are very knowledgeable. They stand up to their words. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Today I went to get a preOp and the service was outstanding. They took good care of me. Fixed my hairline properly. Would definitely do another surgery with NuHair. They were patient with me and gave me fantastic results. Most of the hair clinics try to get rid of you quickly, this was not the case with NuHair. NuHair was also honest with me and helpful throughout the surgery. If you want to get a hair transplant in Canada, NuHair is best in the business with over 20 years in the business. You will not be disappointed. Don't go to Turkey, go with NuHair!

I cant say enough about the nurses that did my FUE hair transplant. Amazing 11/10.

Hair may not matter to everyone but for me it matters. I started losing my hair at a very early age of 18. Finally 25 yrs later I decided to take the plunge with Nuhair and am i glad I did.

Nuhair has offices across Canada. I had 3000x FUE grafts. Give Nuhair a go as FUE leaves no visible scars. Just make sure to take 2 weeks off work after your operation. You need to recover. Follow their rules. You will have great results.

I'm very glad I went with Nuhair. I have a new handle on life. Results. Good value. And great experience.

Just finished getting off the phone with my appointment, Great service, friendly, gave me all the details what to expect and where to go. Couldn't get any better. Been waiting a long time to get this done so its nice not to have any issues when going forward with things like this.

I had a great experience with Dr. G and his staff in Winnipeg. After one year I was not satisfied with the results so I contacted them and they were friendly and booked me in for a second operation for free. I highly recommend NuHair clinic.

I had surgery on Saturday October 5th with New Hair. I am so nervous and so excited to see the results in a year (it takes 1 year to grow which really is going to be rough) time. I wanted to post my experience while it was fresh in my mind for those who may be considering a hair transplant.

I am from Toronto, but work in Fort Mac, in Toronto there are literally dozens of clinics and I was kind of disappointed to find out that there is only about 10 clinics From BC to Ontario (like from thunder bay all the way to Vancouver). I looked at two clinics in Alberta (one in edmonton and one in Calgary) and two in BC. From a results perspective from what I saw I would say that the one clinic in BC (in my opinion) and Nuhair (which is also in BC, Alberta and Manitoba) deliver better results than the other two clinics in Alberta. I came to visit both places in BC and was very impressed by the other clinic and they had this amazing big, beautiful office with views of the mountains and everyone was super nice there - I have nothing bad to say about them. Nuhair's office was a more basic and simple location (think your family doctor). The work they showed me was really good (they have a lot of patient videos you can see in person that they can't show in public - I would not want my face online but good for those who want to!) and I was very impressed. What I was most impressed by was the cost! The work is comparable but i was literally quoted 12,000 dollars less for the same surgery.

They had no space for me (during my time off from work in fort mac) for Surgery so I went and had surgery with Dr. G in Winnipeg. Dr. G is a really good doc and had professional bed side manner and very attentive. The superhero was Relay the head tech! She was super amazing, professional and literally worked on me for 14 hours to plant every single graft. She has been in the industry for nearly 20 years and has done like 5,000 surgeries which blew my mind (its a hard job and you do the math it is like almost 2 million grafts planted). One thing I want to point out is that everyone thinks the doctor does the surgery - the doctors do not do the surgery (and when I asked at the other clinics who did the surgerys they also said the doctors only really do the freezing and 99% of the work is done by the technicians). Regarding the 14 hours if I were to take 1 star off the review that would be the issue - how long it takes. I almost wanted to give a 4 star review because of how long the surgery was to be totally transparent. But what was explained to me is that they go slow to make sure they get the job done right and make the angles right and pick small grafts to put int the hairline etc etc. I think they merit the 5 star because of the fact that they took as long as needed to do the job right. The surgery didn't hurt at all (even now I am surprised how I am in next to no discomfort) but they are really, really long surgeries.

What really stood out to me through the whole process is the patient care during the pre-op and post op. I felt very informed about the surgery and what happened the day of is what I was explained would happen. Once I reserved my surgery dates, I had two more pre op consultations. The owner of the company and the Doctor both called me and texted me the first day post surgery and spent an hour with me on the phone making sure I understood what to do post surgery to make sure I dont ruin the grafts. I kind of thought that after surgery that would be that but I have another follow up at 14 days and 30 days, per the doc's words - to just be sure and double check there is nothing wrong and Im following the post op instructions properly. I really feel taken care of and would without hesitation recommend at least meeting with the clinic to see if they're the right fit for you.

6 months post surgery and just had my 6 months follow up! I can not recommend this company enough if you want a top notch transplant at a decent price.

The location I went to (in surrey) only does PRP. After I went in - I was told to go to the downtown office, BUT I had to make an appt.so if you expect to walk in, there is no receptionist and no one is there, you have to book an appointment as they only have one specialist in hair transplants for all of the lower interior. Steve, (specialists name) told me I could go to either location depending the time which was fine as they are only 10 mins away and both off the skytrain. Do your research for sure but in my experience I found them to be the best clinic when comparing fair price for best results. Very reasonable rates for what you get (unless you are comparing to turkey etc).

Just a great group of people. They have quite a few locations but it’s a family business with a small group of caring hair loss sufferers themselves.

I am from Montreal and had 3 hair transplants with NuHair Medical. The staff members are very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I’ve been highly satisfied every time. Congrats!
