I first attended Brenlie's prenatal yoga classes when I was 8 months pregnant and immediately wished I had attended earlier in my pregnancy. I was so impressed with her well-rounded and thoughtfully curated classes. At the start of class we were able to ask questions and get to know other moms. During class, there was time to work on strengthening hips/core, stretching, meditating, mantra work and time to connect with baby. My favourite was when Brenlie would share her knowledge on labour and birth, and her favourite resources. She has tied her background in being a doula so beautifully and effectively with prenatal classes. I learned so much and so looked forward to classes every week.

I was overjoyed to see that I could continue my journey with Brenlie by participating in Baby + Me Yoga once my little one was born. Again, I got so much out of the class-as did my baby. Brenlie created such a fun and educational atmosphere, with singing, dancing, signing, moving through yoga sequences and baby massage.

I am still in awe of her ability to pour everything into her classes and do it so passionately and energetically. We will greatly miss her in Vancouver!

Thank you so much for everything Brenlie, I wish you were around for my future pregnancies. Your presence was such a gift as a first time mother.

Many hugs,

Estefani

I participated in Brenlie’s outdoor prenatal yoga classes and can’t speak more highly of the experience. Brenlie is incredibly knowledgeable, reassuring, encouraging and supportive. She helped me feel joyful, confident, calm and prepared during my third trimester. For the average price of a yoga class, I gained so much more than a 1-hour practice each week. Yes, I stretched, strengthened, and prepared my body for labour, but also grew mentally and emotionally. She teaches you her daily essentials which you can do at home as well as shared many resources, birth techniques, pelvic floor exercises, mantras, and a music playlist. On top of all this, you gain a sense of community and solidarity from the other participants in the class. Her calming yet empowering presence is a true gift for anyone preparing for birth.

Brenlie is a kind and knowledgable teacher with empowering lessons to share. I enjoyed her weekly prenatal offerings during my pregnancy, which helped to feel physically and emotionally prepared for welcoming my first babe into the world. Thank you Brenlie!

Bernie Nagy is truly unique and special human being and would be the most excellent choice as a doula and birth educator. Brenlie will guide you through your first pregnancy instilling wisdom and a wealth of knowledge. She has an incredibly calming presence as well, and instills confidence, that we are "built to birth. " As someone who is more on the nervous/anxious side, Brenlie helped me so much to work through these things both mentally and physically with many different techniques that I was able to practice at home and utilize throughout my whole pregnancy and labouring without pain medication. Brenlie guided me and shaped my birth experience in the best ways possible. Every time I saw Brenlie throughout my pregnancy, I felt so much happier and calmer. Pregnancy can be the most joyful time but also stressful and worrying. If you are curious to know different breathing techniques, pelvic floor exercises, positions to get baby in the optimal positioning, labouring positions, easing discomfort during pregnancy, etc. Brenlie will guide you through everything.

I cannot speak more highly of Brenlie as a doula and yoga instructor. You would be extremely blessed to have her presence in your life, if you ever have the chance!

Don't hesitate! Brenlie is a Blessing! If you want compassionate, loving, attentive care- you want Brenlie. First, she took us though her very comprehensive childbirth education course and provided us with lots of great resource, too. She very patiently answered all our questions and my husband and I felt so prepared and confident to welcome our baby. Then, when we needed her most (during our birth) she did not leave our side. She really was such a comfort to both me and my husband. After our baby girl was born she was right there for us again - helping me to learn how to breastfeed my baby, checking in on us.she even brought over the most delicious dinner! Lastly, (bonus), she is prenatal yoga teacher! I LOVED her prenatal yoga classes! Her prenatal yoga classes helped me to trust my body and to prepare physically and emotionally for my birth. I truly had the dream birth and Brenlie was such a huge part of making that happen. Now I'm looking forward to her baby & me yoga classes! Thank you Brenlie!

Brenlie is an extraordinary doula. With a high level of experience and professionalism, Brenlie was incredibly helpful before, during and after the birth of my second daughter. Thanks to Brenlie's presence I was able to give birth in confidence, at home and in the water as I had planned.

Brenlie is gentle, competent, very inspiring and has more than one trick up her sleeve. Between the acupressure points, the breathing techniques, the positions to place the baby optimally, the positive affirmations and the delicious cookies she brought us, her support greatly contributed to the success of my natural birth. The final touch, Brenlie made a beautiful photo/video gift truly heartwarming of the birth that we will keep for life.

I can only recommend her, she was a rock for me and my partner. I am grateful for her kindness, her encouragement, her positivism and her presence.

I highly recommend attending Brenlie’s prenatal yoga classes - not only are the classes full of stretches to prepare for labour, she also teaches valuable mantras and breathing techniques to use throughout labour. Brenlie is super knowledgeable about all things pregnancy and birth and has made me feel more prepared for my labour from just attending yoga classes.
