What a total rip off! Hired them to apply grub killer to 2500 sq ft of lawn and, I kid you not, they were literally done in five minutes! It was so fast we were convinced they hadn’t done the job not to mention we saw no product on the lawn. We called them back to redo the back lawn and the guy proudly said he did lots of lawns in under five minutes. We watched him the second time and saw how this is possible - on my back lawn (photo attached) they did THREE passes with the spreader! I normally do at LEAST six when doing it myself. I couldn’t believe my eyes. You can see the size of my lawn and the faint lines of the middle pass. These guys don’t care and do not do a thorough job. They do the bare minimum. Don’t waste your money.

I decided to order Nutri-Lawn services in the hopes that their weed control program would be an improvement over the products I am able to get myself. I also decided to order lawn rejuvenation to try to recover from the dry summer last year. This review covers my experience with these services since March 2016.

I am very happy with the weed control, it certainly is working better than the products I was applying over the last few years. Initially I was not happy with the results of the rejuvenation and called them to discuss. They dispatched their production manager to inspect my lawn. He personally addressed my concerns immediately with a reapplication of the seed and top dressing; this time with a fertiliser mixture. The results have been dramatic, the distressed area is looking great. Further I received a call from the sales manager who promised to repeat the rejuvenation in the fall.

May 2022, still very happy with the Nutri-Lawn service. My lawn looks great especailly after the grub treatment they applied last year which completely cleared up the problem. My only issue: I am getting tired of being constantly reminded how much to water and how my mower should be set - guys I got it the first time, you can take the reminders out of every email I get after a service!

Nutri-Lawn has been great.we went from a 80% dandilions to a beautiful, lush, and think lawn in only a year.and it keeps getting better.

We have used Nutri-Lawn for a few mowing services and grub control. We've recently added some weed control to our contract. The staff are friendly and very professional and the work is exceptional. There is good communication via email and phone calls - I know when to expect them and there is a notification after the work is completed, which I really like. There is no direct contact required - so everyone feels safe during these weird Covid times. I am a new customer this year (just purchased a home) and everything has been great this summer.

Quick efficient applications with noticeable improvements to the lawn which exceeds expectations.

A few years ago, after my grass had been torn up by raccoons a third time and I was losing the battle to Clover and Wild Geranium in both my front and back lawns, I turned to Nutri-Lawn for a bit of professional help. Thought I’d try them out for a year to see if they could help me gain control. They offered me a wide variety of services including weed control, fertilizing, grub control and spring aeration. I was skeptical at first, but in time that has passed since I made the call, the weeds in my lawn are virtually non-existent and my lawn is looking better than ever.

Nutri-Lawn sends me notifications when they’re planning to come for a treatment and they give me a report when it’s done. Their technician points out areas of weakness in my grass, identifying pests and invasive grasses, letting me know if my cut height is set properly on my mower and if I need to focus on boosting my watering schedule. They even let me know when the PH content of my soil needed a boost so that I could apply lime and encourage better root growth.

Their treatment options are extensive, from basic weed control to full-on lawn restoration. I appreciate having options that allow me to still do a lot of the leg work while they provide coaching and a bit of professional intervention.

With the amount of time I spend on maintenance of my gardens and other chores around my home, Nutri-Lawn has been an effective ally producing very satisfying results!

I have had Nutri-Lawn come in to complete restoration of our front yard after a main burst and flooded our home and yard. They were on time and ready to do the work needed. Sod was installed, gardens were cleaned up, and recently they were here for grub protection for the new lawn. I am happy with their services and would recommend them. Don had come initially to see what work needed to be done to restore it. Very friendly staff, totally appreciate good customer service.

So happy with the service we have received from Nutri-Lawn. It was so easy to work through a plan of what we needed for our yard. They have been so respectful and professional with every call and treatment. And my lawn is looking great! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance with their lawn.

I have used nutri-lawn in the past and have had no issues. This year I noticed light green spots come up on my lawn and asked if it could be looked at and taken care of. One of the tech's came on site and confirmed that issue would be taken care of with a weed application. After the weed application was done I was informed that the weed killer would not resolve the issue. I feel like I was swindled out of money to have a weed application that I didn't not need done. I was dealing with tanner who has been in the past and still is professional and kind. He admitted it was a miscommunication on their end but after talking to his manager they were only able to give me $40 off the next the weed application, a application that I did not need in the first place! Will not use again

About two weeks after my post regrading the service I was contacted by Nutri-lawn (Tanner) I was told my review was read by their boss and they wanted to fix the issue. I was offered a full refund for the weed application. Honestly I didn't think they read these review and was surprised when they contacted me. I've always said the service was good and after this i'm even more certain of it. Thank you for going out of your way to look after customers. I'm hoping to use your service again just for the outstanding customer care. Thank you

Easy to get pricing. Charges exactly what was quoted. Good notification system. Great results on a weed-free lawn that I cannot get myself with consumer products.

I’ve tried other services around the North Shore and in Vancouver, but these guys have the best fertilizer and friendliest staff I have come across. I’ve been using them for many years and will continue to use them as their customer service is top notch and they always go above and beyond to please their customers. I would highly recommend them.

The technician Holden Grant gave my lawn a very great service and gave me professional advice for how to improve the lawn conditions. In addition, this service was a weed control application, however, he filled in some bare spots with seed and feed which was free. Thanks so much Holden.

The no-obligation, initial consultation was very informative, and helpful staff made the service start-up process a positive experience.

I ordered a service in the fall. After charging my credit card they advised they would not be able to do the service till spring. I advised that they should refund the cost of the service and contact me in the spring. I have been waiting two months for the refund and have had to make three calls to their office to attempt to get my money returned. No work has been completed at my property and I am out over $800.00. Money still not returned.

Be careful, they sign you up for a subscription service without informing you. Then perform the work before you can cancel it. On top of that they left my gate open! Terrible experience

Awful! It took me a few months to write this review because I wanted to check over and over that it was effective and safe and that my review is a fair and valid one! First, The company makes you pay the $500 before they come to apply, they tell you that the best time to apply is in the spring but that it could still work in the fall, I had it applied in the fall and not only did it not work, we have had five more attacks by crows or raccoons on our lawn since we applied the product and within three weeks! My main concern in posting this review is that the next day after they applied, we had about a dozen robins graze on our lawn, something unusual that we have not had before, the next day two of those robins were dead just 20 meters down from the lawn! I am not saying there’s a definite cause and effect because it could have also been a coincidence but it’s a very strange coincidence. I Spoke to the company representative who was adamant that there is no way their product had anything to do with the dead Robbins, they did offer to come by and take a look at the lawn and were not apologetic for the total ineffectiveness of the product! I spoke to a friend who’s a nematologist who said that it could be the additive agents and the surfactants that they add to the biological in the product Grubgone whixh may be a culprit since it is a new product, or maybe the mixture of the biologicals with the surfactant and the auxiliary ingredients! And of course nobody answered me back when I asked them for a refund for my product because I felt taken advantage of as I paid for a product that is definitely ineffective when applied in the fall and might also be harmful to other species!

I am very satisfied with Nutri-Lawn services so far. They are very good at following up to see if I am satisfied with their services. I had issues with crab grass in my lawn and they came and killed the crab grass leaving brown patches in my lawn. They then came to rake and seeded the brown patches. Will have to wait till the next spring to see how the brown patches fill out with the new grass. I was concerned that some of the brown patches are not filling in. Nutrilawn says if they are still an issue in the Spring, they will come and take care of the problem. My lawn overall since I have used Nutri-Lawn is healthier and greener than before. Will keep you updated on how my lawn fills out in Spring 2020

I called nutrilawn as I was unsure of what was best to winterize my lawn. They responded very quickly and sent someone out. Sam explained what he could to do to enable my lawn have a strong root system for the winter. He also cut the lawn and left it looking great. He was super pleasant to deal with and answered all my questions.i would not hesitate to recommend Nutri-Lawn.

Had a grub control product applied back in August this year. It was a very expensive application and was totally ineffective because it rained a day later as scheduled.
Paid over $250 for a 10-minute job.it would appear the company did not make themselves familiar with the product as they should have postponed the application with the looming rain.
The technician seemed more concerned with the depth of my lawn and explaining to me his vast knowledge of growing good grass.
Needless to say my grass is a crow smorgasbord again. The grubs lived through the treatment.

Today 09-26-19. The knowledge of your Representative Tony Verbeek, being able to explain my grub problem in my lawn and the products you as a company use to eliminate the problem. Also the speed in which my first treatment was done, the next day. It doesn't get any better than that. Thank You.

Today 10-02-19 Tony Verbeek from Nutri-Lawn was across the street from my house this morning working, so I went over and asked him some questions about the contact treatment he did on my lawn last week to kill the grubs. Because I was uncertain that the treatment worked, he said when I'm finished here as a courtesy I will come over and add a granular treatment to make sure they die off, which he did. I'm very impressed with this type of service and would recommend Nutri-Lawn to anyone with a lawn problem. Great service. Great Company.

I really like the service Nutrilawn provides - not only in lawn care but in how they let us know about upcoming services, how the lawn is doing and that it's renewal time. Before using Nutrilawn, the grass was never as green and thick as it is now. And no weeds! Also, before Nutrilawn we had clover flowers which attracted bees - a definite concern as our grandchildren play in the back yard a lot. It's turned into an easy once a month auto-payment and we can forget about the work.

Impressed with the lawn service. I ordered compost, aeration, and overseeding. I initially thought that the compost had not been applied, so I complained. They responded right away and sent a very friendly, professional guy out to show me the compost. He also applied an extra layer as a good will effort. I will be telling my coworkers about this good service.
