It's under construction. About the only things open are Crate and Barrel and maybe a few other token stores.
07 November 2021 8:05
These asshats are causing the traffic and makes getting to the R4 bus more difficult. Their renovation is causing problems for years now.
13 October 2021 11:58
I love how Oakridge always keeps itself current - from the website to the ever-changing roster of stores.
31 August 2021 4:27
So much construction going on, which is understandable, but there is zero clear signage in regards to access stores still open
22 July 2021 8:19
The oakridge center is going under a major renovation. The whole project will take 4 - 6years.

At the moment crate and Barrel is open along with medical/dental offices, which will stay open throughout the renovation phase.

Access with car via Cambie and 42nd into the parade plaza (park at P5 or P4 levels only), thank me later.

P. S.
Food court, lego, apple store, Hudson Bay, library are all closed.

New mall will be an awsome destination!

Update May 2021: The only store left due to redevelopment is Crate and Barrel. The medical buildings are open still.

This mall is the largest high end indoor shopping centre in the Vancouver region. Most of the major designer fashion retailers are present under their own brand store or sold through sub retailers. There are also a number of other retailers, services, restuarants, food court, and a grocer. The centre also has two office towers which included a host of medical professionals. Free surface and garage parking. There is a Skytrain station here too.

'Unwritten' is an artsy eco chic display at Oakridge Centre to map the near future of the property redevelopment. It is located in the old Zellers space.
13 July 2021 0:34
Currently under major construction. More than half the mall is demolished. There are only a few medical offices and a Crate & Barrel under some remaining condos.
11 July 2021 1:16
Great shopping but a bit of a mess with all the renovations and buildings going up, but convenient because of rapid transit station right at the entrance.
07 July 2021 23:29
Not a mall anymore. Just Medical and dental with a Crate and Barrel. This "mall" is also horribly managed. The I've escalator is always broken and the bathrooms smell like they use urine to clean with. Only come here if you have to.

Minus for staff at random stores (you have to communicate with customers, sorry) but plus 5 for security that helped me find myself and pull myself together by talking with me, lol
Then we found myself but search for my car lasted whole hour with all available help! Thank you!
Than I went to Washington Washroom and got scared of guy who sounded like he is giving birth to something really big, twins or such.
Plus he threw up at the same time, which reminded me on excursion in 7th grade for some reason
After that breakfast was out of any question so I decided to grab a coffee on the way out.
Heh but no chance, like I am speaking English trough Air filter and with squirrel in mouth.
Hopefully after renovation.
Good luck with attitude you have

Presently under renovation. Parking is confusing snd then trying to find how to get to HB or the crate and barrel is not clear. Needs better signal thats up to date. Crate and Barrel and Hudsons Bay are still really great shops.
08 February 2021 2:17
I have visited the Apple store and Safeway here long back but both these stores have closed down. Renovations are going on and signage is very poor inside the building. Avoid this place as of now.

或未成文的建筑商/房地产经纪人和规划师在这里不提供任何负担得起的住房。 当我问他是否在此或附近拥有经济适用房时,一位房地产经纪人如此反感,这是我撰写本评论的灵感。 他说:

Oakridge or Unwritten Builders/Real Estate Agents and planners do not offer any affordable housing here. A Real Estate agent was so offensive when I asked him if he had affordable housing here or around that was my inspiration to write this review. He said "Oakridge is not for poor people, look somewhere else" There's going to be 11 new tall towers but prices are an assault (extremely high) and for those like me and maybe you who are reading and who have lived and worked in this city for almost 25 years. I hoped my elected municipal government acted in favor of those who have been living and working here for many years but it seems not the case. We feel lonely. We cannot afford ridiculously overpriced apartments at his development on Oakridge or along all the corridors new developments. Please DON'T BE INDIFFERENT, join me or advocate for yourselves. Raise your voices against abusive rental and sale prices from real state agents and from people who abuse their privilege of having places to rent. WE NEED AFFORDABLE HOUSING, WE NEED EQUITY FOR ALL BUT SPECIALLY FOR THOSE HARD WORKING PEOPLE WITH LOW SALARIES. FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE LET US BE NOT INDIFFERENT!

Dec 2018

We hoped when the new buildings development begins at Oakridge, the area changes to a more affordable housing area and definitely accommodate many more low income persons and families. Hopefully there will be more addiction's services, safe injections sites and shelters for the homeless and more food banks. Affordable housing (NOT MARKET PRICE as some people want to confuse us) really affordable housing is what we need. Housing according to the low income of working class people of Canada is what we need.

Calm, clean and easy access shopping Center. With enough parking space and you can find most famous stores and brands there.
04 January 2020 22:42
Big mall but not fun, not many candy give out on the halloween compare to city square small fun but the service not professional. This mall has food court, washroom, apple store, Hudson Bay, Starbuck, Vietnamese food is okay, tiffany store, RBC bank, scotia bank, safeway, lego store, indoor play for kids free
30 December 2019 15:59
A great mall to shop (a good selection of stores/brands)! There are a small food court and a few different coffee and tea places scattered around! Nice environment to sit and relax if you are tired. Easy public access as it is right at a skytrain station!
22 December 2019 15:49
Has some amazing stores inside and some great finds. Had such a great time finding some good clothes and perfume! And you have to try the chocolate store just outside of the woolworths! Its a purple store with delicious hand made chocolates that were AMAZING! I bought some back home to Australia and our family were obsessed with the little chocolate hedge hogs.
19 December 2019 4:44
Mall is high end retailers. Lots of construction during ongoing renovations. Poorly build transitions leading to the parking roof damaged my vehicle. Mall will not assist or take responsibility for damage so use parking and road access with care and at own risk. I would go elsewhere. Pacific Centre downtown offers similar stores with more options and may actually care for patrons.
10 December 2019 23:06
Don't go here if u don't want to be stuck in underground parking lot! Wait till construction is finished! My sister and I spent 1 full hour waiting in a lineup of cars who were basically being held hostage!
06 December 2019 7:53
Not a fan of malls in particular so take this with a grain of salt. Seems haughty and caters to more affluent tastes. Not much variety, food court is alright.
04 December 2019 9:38
About a week ago it took us a really long time to leave the parkade due to construction and a lack of staff to manage the outgoing traffic. Initially left a bad review, but they called me to apologize today and explained why this happened. Great customer service!
03 December 2019 7:17
Nightmare parking during construction.
Avoid driving here at all cost! I’ve been queuing to get out for 15mins and still can’t get out of the parkade.

Lots of shops are closed or have moved to smaller footprints. Wait till construction is completed before coming here.
28 November 2019 23:39
Looking way more beautiful, there's lots of construction around right now, not sure how long for, but the entrance is from 41st going east, that area.they are turning oakridge into a whole new vibe, kind of like downtown surrounded by high rises and parks and it's little town. Several more years till this project is complete.
22 November 2019 7:44
Oakridge is a nightmare cant access the parking lot construction sites choking this city feel bad for the businesses in the mall losing money.
19 November 2019 0:16
Great place to go to find a variety of goods and food. Current construction is hurting the traffic a ton but still open for business.
14 November 2019 9:04
This place is so accessible and lots of parking too. There's also a covered parking so you can enjoy shopping without being wet during rainy or snowy season. It's also clean and I like the fact that library is there too.
08 November 2019 8:00
Not a bad range of stores, very friendly staff in every place that I went. Place is kept clean and tidy.
26 October 2019 21:05
Had a strange, unpleasant experience with the "unwritten" exhibition, which is a showcase for the new mall. Shopped here to years out of convenience, but I can't recommend a dead mall with a condescending rude staff.
25 October 2019 11:19
Undergoing major renovation. Parking can be a nightmare as there may only be one or two entrances open for entire site. Many stores are closed. The White Spot and food court are about to disappear forever. Will only go for my dentist in medical building. Elevator in south medical building is closed. Don't bother come here for a few years to shop or eat.
19 October 2019 22:14
One the popular shopping center in metropolitan Vancouver. The ambience could have created a pleasant, enjoyable, and don't-want-to-leave shopping experience. The center and parking are under renovation. Signs and directions can be confusing.
15 October 2019 7:43
I had been living close to Oakridge Mall since1980. I saw the changes of various shops in the mall. Now I hope I can live long to see the big new change.
09 October 2019 4:03
Hate it. Parking sucks and prices are 2 times higher than metrotown because in snazzy area 0 stars poss poor mall
07 October 2019 19:08
The Oakridge Centre Mall is under redevelopment meaning less places to park, less stores opened, but I believe once the construction project is complete, it will be massive. There will be a new civic hub with homes for more than 6,000 residents, a new community centre and daycare, one million square feet of retail and a nine acre park. Let's wait for the completion.
27 August 2019 14:51
2.5 stars for now. The mall is going through it’s huge transition.

Parking and the flow of it is pretty bad compared to before.

Mall seems likes it’s closing off, but the food court is still great. And Safeway.

EV charging seems like BS right now; they really should have a 3 hour charging limit or some regulation.

Doesn’t help when I see someone drive into the parking lot and stop, goto an EV car that’s plugged in and exchanges things from the trunks of the vehicles. And then leaves; EV car still plugged in. Who knows if it’s actually charging.

Another sour note - the car stopped in the middle of the road blocking other cars to pass. While there was plenty of parking spaces available at the time.
09 June 2019 3:50
Now that they are building a new Oakridge centre, most of the parking lots have been blocked off. It can be really fustrating to find a entrance way into the mall and the parking is terrible
23 May 2019 18:08
They're starting a massive new development and have started tearing up certain entrances to the parking lots. No longer able to access the north side from the south end and no signage informing this making you lap around a nightmare of a little parking lot. The shops are good in the mall, but they need to make a better effort at rerouting vehicle traffic during this development.
03 May 2019 2:36
I like this mall because it has some top brands and a lovely food court. I specially like to visit Talbots and also Room In Order. If you are looking for some good brands this is a good place to go to. I believe this place is going to be developed further. Take Canada line and get off at Oakridge. Enjoy an afternoon with a spot of lunch and browsing around. Good fun.
25 April 2019 9:06
A pleasant mall, clean and organised with a lot of natural light. The restrooms were adequate and clean. We had a bite to eat at the food court which was bustling. There is a display of what there new development is going to look like. I didn't have time to view it (takes about 30 mins) but it looked interesting.
12 April 2019 4:58
Oakridge is undergoing some changes to transform it into metrotown. If you go there now you'll be affected by these changes. This will progress over the next couple years and the old oakridge you once knew will no longer exist. In the meantime they do have all the regular shops open for business along with the food court. Oakridge offers free parking, and a relaxed atmosphere for the time being.
