I ordered a meatball sandwich. The meat was a little over cooked and dry and there weren't any chilies in the sandwich. My sandwich wasn't the only one missing chilies. I had ordered the combo so you get a spring roll with a drink for about $13. Not a bad value over all. I'll try again and order a different sandwich at a different location to see if the food score remains the same.

I love this place. Bread is very crispy, yet flaky and fluffy. Sandwich fillings are very generous and prices are low. I always get the lemongrass pork and it's very flavorful. The meat is juicy and sauces
tastes wonderful. What's not to like?

Filling, flavorful banh mi at a great price.
Bread had a nice crunchy crust on the outside, and was soft on the inside. Sandwich was packed with meat and flavor, and left me comfortably full.

I LOVE obanhmi, normally order in Surrey or Vancouver, subs are huge and tasty. Unfortunately, not in the Richmond, the length of the sandwich is 1/3 shorter then the regular ones. So sad, we moved to Richmond recently and hoping we can visit more often, not the case here: (

Classic freshly made Viet subs. Honestly felt like a kid again. Coming again when I get cravings for subs.

I got a classic banh mi. Service was really fast and friendly. The sandwich was amazing and I'll definitely come back!

We ordered catering for a light wedding reception: banhmi, spring rolls, salad roll. Josh was super helpful in communication and getting our order ready, with a good rate. Food was great and several guests asked us where the banhmi was from!

I also order often for take out on work days as it is a quick, economical and tasty lunch.

Arrived 20 min before the listed closing time. At the counter, I was told they can't serve me because they are in the process of closing. Why not just reduce your hours of operation and lock the door. Very misleading!

With that logic, I guess their hours of operation denote when employees clock in and out. So expect to be refused service for the first 30-60 min while they prep and set up shop.

Regardless, I gave it another shot some time later. Banh mi was pretty good value for the price point though!

I love your sandwiches and find they are good value, but $3 for a single spring roll was disappointing.

I didn't read the quantity when I ordered the side of spring roll and expected 2, so when I got home and opened up the bag and found only 1, I was disappointed.

LOVE every sandwich I've tried from your shop, though!

Update to this review:

I ordered a sandwich yesterday and it had a small, extremely hard piece of stone, ceramic, or shard of a dish or something like that in it which I bit down on while eating the sandwich. Now I have to make a dentist appointment to see if I damaged my teeth after biting into that.

I loved your sandwiches especially with the prices of takeout these days, but having this happen, I won't be going here anymore.

Sauce for the spring roll is okay not the same but everything else is great food is delicious definitely coming back for more!

Their Vietnamese sandwiches are the best in town. I've been there so many times and they are as good as usual. Must try their Thai iced tea too.

Stopped by here walking past and ordered Bahn mi lunch and the bread was so crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. Tasty ingredients and don't forget the jalapenos! Makes it next level. It was so good I came back the next day and ordered dinner! Mango smoothie and passion lemonade recommended!

Tasty, good portion size, perfect sauce consistency for their summer rolls, and I will definitely come back to try every single menu item.

Coffee was too light and milky - I typically like my Vietnamese coffee super strong and concentrated. Ordered the #2 and #6, both were pretty light and unassuming. If you like lighter coffee and simple banh mi then this place might be the place for you. The bread was light and fluffy!

Great little place to get banh mi. It's my go to when I don't have lunch for work. Best banh mi in Richmond! A must try!

Update: This location cleared up all the issues after opening. Friendly staff behind the counter and well made sandwiches!

Soggy sandwich after a 5-minute ride home.

This location needs work.

The chicken sandwich we ordered was dry and the it was assembled with minced chicken? I had never ate a Chicken lemon grass banhmi that used minced dry chicken.

I love this place, their food is really cheap but very good and authentic. I always go for a banh mi combo with a coffee!
