I have always had good experiences with Ocean Park Auto. They have been looking after 4 of my recent vehicles and I trust their advice and skills. I recently needed my turbo replaced in my car as advised by the dealership. They quoted me $8000 for the job. Matt looked into the problem and confirmed that was in fact the case, but he was able to perform the work for $1400 less using the exact same parts. It’s working great again. The whole team there is great! I stand by their with as evidenced by me always touting their workmanship to my friends and coworkers.

Ocean Park was both fast and yet detailed and comprehensive. We had just bought a newer vehicle from a dealership. I bought it so my wife would be comfortable and safe after 3 months in hospital and seven “open heart” or related procedures. It was fairly obvious after their report we had bought ourselves a financial “land mine”. With their report the “dealer” who sold us the vehicle “decided” to immediately take the “Range Rover” back and complete “full repairs”

My '98 pathfinder has been in to Ocean Park prior when the previous owner of my vehicle had a few off-road mods done. I was there to purchase 33" BFG tires for my pathfinder. Good quick service while I waited in the lounge area. Lots of laughs and treated as a friend as soon as I walked through the door. Every customer that walked in was happy with the service provided, I noticed. My new go to shop when I need something done for my vehicle

Best mechanic shop in town, I would not trust anyone else with my European vehicles. They are trust worthy and always have great energy.

I have utilized the services at Ocean Park Automotive for a number of years and they are consistently friendly and professional. I have enjoyed numerous conversations with Matt, Jag, Faith, and Mick; if you want your very own automotive seminar, Matt is your man, if you want to hear some funny tales - Jag fits the bill, and Faith is ready with a smile, while Mick is the Master Greeter. They recently replaced another pinion seal on my Ranger, even though l showed up unannounced - there was no charge, due to it being defective. Very impressive service, many thanks!

If you want good service, honest explanations of what needs to be done, what can be deferred and what it will cost, take your car here. I have been bring all of my vehicles here for service whether new or used. The biggest complement I can give Matt and his staff is that no matter where I am they always have my back.

Matt and the team at Ocean park automotive welcomed my "nightmare" as challenge stating "if something can be put together it can be fixed". After being turned away at various other shops my gratitude for the willingness to help which came from this place is beyond. The attention to detail is phenomenal. These guys go above and beyond in terms of getting a job done right. Bring your vehicle here, you won't be disappointed. The service you get is better then at any dealership with the added benefit of dealing with honest people.

I moved recently into the area and started coming to this shop for my vehicle repairs, at first I was really impressed with the service I got from ocean park automotive team and I blindly started to trust them. My husband even warned me but I thought it’s ok if they are over charging at least they are great people and good service. It was until last week I had gone for a service and the owners Matt and jag were in the office. They were sitting behind the desk and I was in the waiting area and I’m sure they blindly forgot that I was waiting and they started to talk nasty about me, they talked about how they ripped me off the last few times I was there and did the repairs I didn’t even need. They talked about by physical body and what they would do to me if they ever got the chance. They discussed my private parts and laughed. Matt said at one point he wishes all the ladies from the area would come and sit on his face while the rest of the team rips them off on their car maintenance. I sat there in tears and wish I had never ever came across Matt and jag, ladies be carful when you come here

I am not local to the area our suv check engine light started to flash so I went to the dealership just up the road from ocean park and they put the reader on it but were unable to fix our suv. We called Ocean Park as we noticed them on the way to the dealership who was also bizzy however they did what they could to look at the suv and were able to find and fix the problem in a very timely manner and had us back on our way home same day from our vacation that evening

After a very disappointing experience with Columbia Chrysler in white Rock we luckily took our Jeep Cherokee to Ocean Park automotive and the service, professionalism and kindness of the staff it is just outstanding!

OP Auto is the only auto repair service I will use. I have found, perhaps most importantly, that they are scrupulously honest. They will absolutely NOT suggest repairs that you don't need just to make money off of you. They'll tell you what's coming upto fix at some point in the future, but won't bilk you like a dealership or so many other shops. I've experieneed this directly. For example, at one point my vehicle was making a strange front end noise that sounded like it was going to need significant expensive work. I was prepared to pay a major bill, and I even mentioned that to Matt and Jag, the very personable owners. When they inspected the car, they said it was just a bent rotor cover on one of the brakes rubbing against it. Fixed it no charge. They could have charged me an arm and a leg, and I would have been none the wiser, and even left satisfied. So being able to 100% trust your mechanics is something that gives a person great piece of mind. The quality of work that I've received has also been top-notch. They have given me good advice on car purchases and parts, and use only good quality parts that they have found to be reliable (e.g. They won't sell you a poor quality battery). As an added bonus, they have actually drinkable free coffee in the waiting area to go along with their witty banter - it's obvious that they enjoy what they do, and as such are committed to high standards of service. So my advice is to buy a used BMW or Mercedes (that way you'll need to be in the shop a lot) and trust OP Auto to take excellent care of all your vehicles. 5+ Stars!

I have been taking my Toyota vehicles to Matt and Jag since 2002. They have performed all the maintainance on my kid's old Tercel, my new Sienna and two new Tacomas. Consistantly they give solid advice, do the work required and do it well. I keep my vehicles for 10 to 12 years and tend to drive about double the annual kilometers the average person drives. This includes several trips through the Rockies to Saskatchewan each winter with my family. I drive these high kilometer vehicles with confidence in minus 25 degree weather because I know they are properly maintained.

Jag and his team went above and beyond exceeding my expectations. A prime example of a business that leads with integrity, empathy and tenacity. So grateful to have crossed paths with like minded people. Would definitely recommend them going forward.

They took 71 days to fix my engine. Seventy-one days for bent valves and a timing chain. Every time they missed a deadline, I would hear nothing and then it’s me having to chase them over two months to get the job done. It would still be sitting there.

Then they threw on an extra $1000 for an unrelated car part I never authorized or even discussed, because they couldn’t figure out and still don’t know why the engine light came on after they reassembled it.

To top it off, when I asked about the surprise $1000 extra, Matt (seemingly outraged by the audaciousness of such a question) told me “You’re lucky we even fixed it. ”

I decided to try this company rather than take a 30 minute drive to the dealership. Just a simple oil change but their analysis and report was impressive and much appreciated. Got some early warning for some emerging problems.

Jag and Matt completed the work on my Jeep in a timely and efficient manner while saving me money. I recommend their team for any automotive task. Ocean Park has worked on two of my vehicles professionally and honestly.

Was having problems with my Ford, and took it to Ocean Park Auto. They spent their time contacting ford, trying to get the best price and supplies needed to fix my car. In the end, Matt was honest and told me it would be better to take my car directly to Ford. I appreciated the honesty, and though my car was not serviced by them, I will definitely be taking it back when I need something else!

Jagg was a lifesaver! I was in White Rock as an out of town visitor and discovered quite suddenly that my brake lights had stopped working. It was close to the end of the day and most repair and parts shops were closing up. Jagg happily took me in, arranged to have a part delivered and fixed everything before the sun set! Wonderful people and wonderful service!

I was very happy with my annual inspection on my Audi, I normally take it in to Langley Audi every year and wait 2 hours. At Ocean Park auto, I left my car they drove me home and I picked it up at the end of the day. I feel I have peace of mind knowing my car has been thoroughly checked over.

Just had my first service here and it went really smooth. I was in and out in under an hour and they provided a detailed report after the service which is helpful. As of now I think I’ll be coming back for future servicing!

HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, ORGANIZED and they bend over backwards to make sure you're satisfied. I was looking for a mechanic I could trust and my neighbour recommended these Matt and Jag after sending his young daughter "undercover. " They treated her honestly and fairly and treated me the same. In fact, they have gone above and beyond for me. I can't imagine going to another shop.they rock.

Another shop was unable to diagnose and resolve my 2004 BMW idling issue. I was recommended Ocean Park by said shop.

After my first interactions over the phone they had my car looked at first thing the next morning. I recieved a phone call to go over diagnosis and course of action. I confirmed the required work and they proceeded. I was also sent a comprehensive email and text with detailed information (with photos) on work that could/should be done (at my discretion).

If you are looking for a solid shop these guys are it. Fast quality work, great customer service and transparency that's rare in the field.
