Almost impossible to actually access family physician. Answering service runs in circles (and then routinely disconnects if you are able to get close to the top of the wait list - for those who are lucky enough to actually get queued!) Website only allows phone bookings (which is a problem when it is the physician who has indicated the need for in-person!). Family physician is terrific, too bad she can't be accessed!

Good luck attempting to be a walk in. Even if you have a family doctor your turned away unless you have a booking. I showed up at 9am and they told me to come back at 8am the next day. This place used to be managed so well. You could show up unannounced and get the help when you needed it. Ocean Walk took far too many clents than they could handle and know old clients are feeling the discomfort of not being able to see anyone when most vulnerable.

My experience was good. Went in as a walk-in and the wait was about an hour, just went for a walk and came back. Dr. Scott and the staff were professional and nice.

Here is a review I wish I didn't have to write. The incompetence of the front-of-office staff has led to the following disappointing event. In April, I bought a lovely Thank You card and ordered a big, bright bouquet of flowers for my primary care doctor. The florist created something that looked like a huge present, and tucked the card inside with the blooms. She called several times to check that my doctor would be there before sending the bouquet. It took many tries and she finally got the information. The courier delivered it - handed it to someone INSIDE the office. All of this was documented for quality control. A month after the delivery, I had a telephone appointment with my doctor and asked her if she received her flowers. She was surprised, and said she received my lovely card but no flowers. I double-checked that the florist and the courier did their jobs properly and found that they did. I tried to call the office to find out what happened. Because someone obviously reached inside the bouquet to pull out the card. Why was it separated from the flowers? But it was impossible to get through. Their outgoing message states that they no longer accept phone calls. What kind of a medical office does that?

I tried to let this go but I find the incompetence impossible to accept. My energy, time, and money was wasted. Someone else took advantage of it and I can't do anything about it. It is so very disappointing. Given the bad reviews I've read about their front-of-office staff, I doubt that anything will change.

My family doctor works here and she is good, however the reception staff is.unbelieveablely unprofessional. Everytime i call, if i am unlucky, a male receptist picks the call. Then here the hell starts.

This guy's protocol is:
1.he asks you to go to their website to make an appointment without knowing what you are even asking;
2.he asks you to go to lifelabs website to make an appointment as a second try;
3.he hang up the phone or pass it to someone else if he finds the caller does not give up

I was scheduled for an appointment earlier May, my family doctor prescribeld me a test and said she will be send the form to my email. After two weeks i did not heard back anything from them so i have to call.

This dude ask me to book an appointment on their website first, i told him i had one and just want to get the updates, he then said 'you should go to lifelab instead of calling us'
HOW? I need a form to book that test! He then said 'just make an appointment on lifelabs website', i was so tired of it and said 'sorry i don't think you understanded what i was saying: my doctor should give me a form so i can go to the lab, but i didn't reveice one'.
I think i accidentlly triggered him: he sounds more annoyed than me and replied 'you go speak to the receptist' and pass the phone to another lady.

It turned out they forgot to send me the form 2 weeks ago. I can understand everyone makes mistakes, i give two stars instead of one because this lady admited the mistake and applogized to me.

And i have an advise to the male receptist: if you really hate this job, quit it and do something which makes you happier. You are working with people who are suffering from pain and stress, they should not and cannot take anymore from your unprofessionalism.

Very disappointed & frustrated! I was turned away from the walk-in service. I showed up at 1040am. The receptionist told me that the walk-in is 845-10am and so she told me to come back at 1pm or another day. I find this interesting because on the website the walk-in time is 9-11am & 2-4pm. Therefore they should either talk the walk in or update your website to reflect the actual walk-in times.

"WALK IN" when it suits THEM. Refused consultation at midday on Friday. Very cold reception empty room. Clearly appointments when it suits them. Not the patient.

So grateful to have a clinic in the neighbourhood that welcomes walk ins. Yes it’s a long wait but with such a shortage of doctors we are extremely fortunate to be able to receive such caring medical attention.

One week to get appointment with doctor, another week not yet to get a referral letter, though doctor says it only takes one day. But the assistant asks you to be patient!

I don't know how they do it but despite being clearly very busy, the front desk staff are excellent and know their stuff and manage to be kind, patient thorough and often smiling. And I really very much like my doctor there.

I am impressed by their new website Appointment Scheduling system. Great doctors work here such as Dr. Zahra Sharghi and Dr. Seyed Taha Heydari. Some of the front staff are amazing as well. Thank you for all of the hard work.

Visited a couple months ago. If you're actually a walk-in patient, you will be lucky to wait in line just to get one minute of doctor's time. I had enough to explain maybe half of my newly developed symptoms. I got prescription painkillers which helped, but it certainly didn't leave me with much confidence that the doctor actually heard, let alone cared about my issue as I was left with "come back it if doesn't improve, bye".

Always behind schedule! Not even for once I had a chance to see my doctor on time! Minimum wait of 20 to 30 mins each visit! They get 2 stars because I'm happy with my doctor.

Dr. Scott and Dr Shuraghi have been so helpful to myself and my family. DR. Scott is very respected among not just his patients but also his peers. Dr. Shuaghi is a wealth of knowledge and so kind and personable. Highly recommend!

I have found the best doctor I’ve ever known at this clinic! Dr. Sharghi is so kind, caring and intelligent. She really tries to solve problems, and has superb bedside manners. She’s helped me and my partner so much in the last year of seeing her. If you are lucky enough to have her as a doctor, you’ll immediately notice her emotional intelligence too. She makes me smile

First off, I will say the doctors are great. They are nice, attentive to your issues and respond in a polite and professional manner. My reason for 2 stars is the other staff, specifically front desk workers and helpers. I was at a very low point in life, and when I say low, I mean very, very low. The doctor I saw immediately could see I was in distress and, was going through options with me to help. I at the time did not know the difference between a psychologist and psychiatrist and asked her to explain the difference, she nicely explained what each does and how they can respectively help. After, she walked out to write a prescription and a note for my work, I could hear, clear as day, the receptionists talking and laughing about my lack of knowledge on the subject. I was in a bad mental state, and for them to openly (probably didn't think i could hear) insult me for now knowing something so seemingly simple, I was about ready to burst out with anger and tears. Hit my lowest, looked for help, only to be insulted because i was not educated in that field. Doc gets 5 stars, receptionists get a straight 0.

Doctor Scott how can I even begin. This man has become a part of my family now. He has always been a caring doctor who listens to you and tries to give you the best result for whatever you are going through. Hes attentive and knows what he's doing. I'm grateful to know when I get sick I can go see a doctor who puts his patients first and helps them get back to healthy in the quickest and safest way.

Dr. Scott and the staff at Ocean Walk are unfailingly courteous, professional, and attentive. Dr. Scott's experience and knowledge gets him to the crux of the problem quickly as well as the solution. I appreciate Dr. Scott's gentle manner and taking the time to listen intently despite how busy the Clinic can sometimes get. I now live in Vancouver but Dr. Scott and the excellent staff make it worth the commute.

Great service! I love how the staffs are very patient and nice. The doctors are great! Mostly dr Zahra, couldn’t thank her enough for helping me.
