Staff look like they're paid to sit on their phones at work. Admitting needs a no personal phones at work policy.

Absolutely terrible! My husband went there Monday night doubled over in agonizing pain. Instead of checking him or calling an ambulance. They made him wait for over 3 hours! Then they realized they were closing in 15 minutes, so they gave him a pain pill and sent him out the door! Long story short, he needed emergency surgery to remove a foot and a half of lower intestines and is now a 32 year old man with a colostomy bag. What absolute laziness and incompetence on the "doctors" part. I see lawsuit in your future

Kids are given priority here. Watched them come in and leave, while I still sit here waiting. Looks like kids take priority over seniors no matter the situation. Might as well have not come at all. Waste of time. When I’m waiting for X-ray to be looked at and I’d be out of here but no take more people in a watch them leave while I sit waiting.

Many thanks to Dr. Martens and his wonderful staff at Oceanside Urgent Care. They were absolutely wonderful in the way they handled my problem. We are so lucky to have these great people helping us in our time of need. Again I thank you

Took my daughter here with what could be a burst appendix. She’s wreathing in pain screaming crying crawling in the ground type of pain. Been an hour and they still haven’t seen her.

I brought my wife to this health centre due to a possible broken wrist which ended up being broken in the end after Xrays. It was our first time here. My wife's english is not 100% perfect and she was having trouble explaining to the check in nurse (Carrie) what had happened to her wrist. When I tried to help her with some explanation of the events, (helping also with her english) this nurse immedialtely yelled "she has to tell me! Not you.for my assessment! " Her rude poor attitude continued during the assessment when she grabbed my wife's wrist hard pulling on it causing her to yell. I could tell she was frustrated trying to understand my wife's english the whole time. Other than that poor interaction, the triage nurse, xray technician and doctor were fabulous with her. The hospital is very clean and efficient.

I felt welcome and at ease during this visit. I decided to come here because the wait times in Nanaimo are the worst. I did end up waiting about 2 hours to get into a room, and about half an hour waiting for the doc. But I did come after 7pm, when there was only one doctor available. Given the circumstances, I saw people leaving with their needs met and when it came to be my turn, I found my needs met very promptly and accurately.

I had a intense ear ache and after being on a Rx for 4 days with no relief I visited this place. The staff were really nice and the Dr on call examined me and was able to adjust my prescription. I felt very well looked after and with a shortage of Drs here Island I take comfort knowing this facility exists.

Excellent health care. Doctors and nurses are wonderful. We are so very fortunate to have this medical clinic in our area.

Shoulder popped out/back in on Sunday eve playing ball, went Monday morn when they opened and was in/out within an hour including x-rays and a sling. All staff I interacted with were friendly, respectful, and efficient!

If I could assign a zero to Dr Bhardaxj I would. Ima senior in for heart attack symptoms and he says he doesn't want to catch what I have. Rude

Service was excellent. Thank you to the doctor and staff. Waiting time was about an hour. It was after 6pm.

I always have an amazing experience when going to Oceanside. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The wait times are very very good, and the Drs are always so informative and caring. I always enjoy my time here.

I was just there on new years day and the staff were wonderful. My friend had a blockage in the tubing that was intravenously delivering antibiotics to him. We went to the Oceanside medical center and they did everything they were able to do for him and then sent us home. They showed care, knowledge and concern for him the whole time we were there. Thank you Trish (the nurse) for your care, your patience and outstanding effort you gave to Tom
