Awesome place! They managed to fit me in quickly knowing I was returning to Vancouver and even waited for me to drop off the van when they were just closing. Found other problems than just the one I went in to get fixed but absolutely no pressure to get them repaired. Their prices seem very fair and I felt they were an honest, small town experience. I will go there again if I am in Nelson and need any fixes).

There is nothing like small town service. These guys nail it at OK Tire. No matter how small the issue when I go in, they always make sure my vehicle is in good condition, and safe to drive. They are never over selling, but always provide fair advice. You can't go wrong here.

Told me my vehicle was going to be finished in an hour inna half. Came in then and they hadn't started. Told me to come back in another hour and that they'd call when the truck came in. No call was made. I called and they didnt answer. This was an hour and a half after they closed.

Short guy at counter was rude and made it seem like I did something wrong coming in to get my truck 2 and a half hours after they said they'd be finished and still had to wait.

The were polite, and I felt understood when explaining my issues. The fix was punctual and they explained everything to me upon pick up.

We always get wonderful service from OK Tire. They were informative and helpful when it came to choosing winter tires, and were able to get us in promptly to have them done. Service was done quickly and efficiently, and everyone was extremely friendly. I'd recommend to anyone. Thanks Joe!

Had a flat on tires I bought less than a year ago. Guy told me warranty was void because I drove more than 7ft on flat. Then told me tire was discontinued and tried to sell me 4 new tires. Took it to my local shop, fixed flat for $25. What scammers.

Last week I was going to leave for Edmonton from Nelson first thing in the morning. The evening before I went out to dinner in Nelson and heard a noise coming from my front left wheel. The wheel was very hot. Ceased caliper I assumed. It was after hours so l parked my truck at the Ford dealer. When I called the next morning Ford said they could not look at it for 2 weeks. I called 5 other repair shops with the same 2 week wait. When I called OK Tire the said they could probably look at it today but no promises. My best chance here so I dropped it off in the morning. They called me at 4: 00 PM that same day to say it had been repaired. I was very happy with their service and would go there again. Thanks OK Tire.

We came in with two damaged UTV wheels, they told us to go get breaky and they will have them fixed when we were done.
They patched one and had to tube a rim.

We rolled into Nelson on a Friday with our truck & camper & our brakes were pretty much shot after coming down the Kootenay Pass. Joe was gracious enough to fit us in on a Saturday (his day off) to repair them! His fine son in law, Lee was kind enough to come on in to give Joe a hand. The work they did was exceptionally top notch with every detail nailed to a tee. Not only are these guys A one people but their work was above & beyond! I HIGHLY recommend Ok Tire as they are extremely knowledgeable in their work! Thanks so much!

Wonderful team!

We had a number of issues with our vehicle within a couple months and the team at OK Tire gave top notch service whenever we brought the vehicle in. Super trustworthy and went above and beyond every time.

When issues with our vehicle that were new to the the team arose (it's a hybrid), they took it in stride and sorted out how to get the job done.

Let us use a company car for an extended time and let us store our car at the garage when we just couldn't drive it any more and then tirelessly looked for the right part to order in for our vehicle.

Now we have the car back and she's running smoothly even with high km. Probably have quite a few more km on left on our Ford Escape than we originally thought. (Lee is very knowledgeable about Fords).

Really fair pricing. Will return to OK Tire for any future servicing! Thank you guys!

Quick and efficient service during Xmas holiday. Highly recommend: honest, competent and fair price.

Wonderful experience, we were in Nelson on Xmas holiday and our transmission stopped to work. Ok Tire was open during xmas holiday and on weekend. They were pretty busy and managed to find time for us. Very knowledgeable staff, they explained and showed us all the details of the issue. Even we had major issues on our car, thanks to OK Tire we managed to get safely back to Vancouver. We can only highly recommend OK tire. It was our best experience with car service so far

Lee and his team go above and beyond to give good customer service. We had a flat tire in parking lot once and Lee helped to switch the spare on and get things going

We encountered engine over heating towing a trailer over the mtn pass on hwy 3. We had to pull over on an incline with no cell service!
It is here where we were introduced to a wonderful guy (or and angel, you decide) named Joe from OK Tire in Nelson, B. C.
Joe said he saw us and turned around to come back and offer help. He advised us that we just had a bend in the road to where there was a pull out beside a lake. So we filled the rad with his and our water bottles and let the car cool down. Then we headed and made it to the pull out area.
Not only did Joe stop to help us, he offered to pull our trailer to Vancouver the following Thursday seening that he was going there anyways AND he said if we could get the trailer towed to his shop in Nelson he would look the car over and the trailer.
So that is what we did. The next day he replaced the coolant, as we had used lake water, he replaced the oil as we had a truck driver give us some truck oil to get us down the mtn but we didn't get far before the brakes overheated and had to be towed and he checked the brakes for us. Since he had to take if the tires off for this he even gave us the name of the next OK Tire where we could get the lug nuts re-tourqued.
He even drove us to the insurance company to ensure he could even tow our trailer as it was plated in Ontario. This was reassuring to us as we didn't even think of that.
When he pulled into Vancouver with our trailer a few days later, he told us the trailers break line had been broken which I had noticed a wire hanging down when we left it. He had fixed this and re-routed it so it wouldn't happen again.
My husband and I cannot thank Joe and the friendly staff at OK Tire in Nelson enough for all of their help and service. He went above and beyond the call of duty and made the rest of our journey safe and enjoyable!
If we could give them 6 stars we would!

Tourist, needed quick safety inspection due to strange noise. They quickly found the problem. Quick (immediate!), competent and fair prices, very friendly staff. Very satisfied.

Brought my dads toyota tundra in today for some new tires. Amazing serivce took them one day to order them in. If you need a good service advisor ask for Sarah! She helped pick our tires and was very professional! Dan the tech was awsome too answered all our questions! Would highly recommend going there!

The service here is amazing. My family got stranded in Nelson during a road trip. Sarah, Zak, and the rest of the team did what they could, and even ordered extra parts in case we needed them. The prices on tires are competitive, and they are quicker than other local tire shops at getting your vehicle in for work, either by appointment, or the day of if you're willing to leave your vehicle for the day. I think the staff and mechanics are pretty good too, providing decent service. What I have been disappointed with is having twice ending up with tires that weren't what I was looking for or expecting; once a few years ago they advised and sold to me an oversized tire for my pickup as they didn't have the recommended size in stock (my truck differential made odd sounds with them on) ; and more recently when I went for an appointment to get new winter tires on my car and ended up with alternate lower quality tires than I'd ordered, as they sold off the tires they'd brought in especially for my appointment to another customer who showed up earlier that morning. As I had to drive in from a ways out of town and making another trip wasn't convenient I settled for the cheaper tires, which to their credit they knocked a few bucks off of in compensation when i asked. So, if you're going to do business here I'd advise you be prepared to stick to your guns about getting what you need or want and be prepared to walk if you don't.

I have never been to a shop that has such amazing service. I went in with three little kids all under three and the lady at the front desk was so sweet and accepting to the kids being in the front area. We went in to get our tires changed to winter tires and it turns out there was a bigger issue that needed to be fixed, so the 45 minutes I thought I was going to have to be there turned into a lot longer.instead of me having to sit there with three kids right about nap time the manager offered to drive us home in his personal vehicle. He then personally dropped the vehicle off for me at my house afterwards so that I was able to put the little kids down for a nap and pick the older kids up from school in time. They were also great to deal with on the phone they managed to fit us in last minute to get our tires done, the prices were great and they went above and beyond all expectations. I can't say enough about how wonderful this location is.

Ordered rims, and they were mounted.
The rim's didn't look like the pic on line. The manager was very helpful. Ordered a profile that works for me. Installed at no extracharge. Thank you OK Tire! Staff is very helpful and friendly
