I had an amazing experience at Okanagan Credit Centre, I was looking for a new vehicle for work for a long time and every big name dealership was giving me the run around and making it a nightmare. Until a colleague of mine told me to go to Jon Kaban at Okanagan credit centre! He is absolutely fantastic, I will be recommending everyone I know who needs a new vehicle to go and have a chat with Jon! He makes it a fun, stress free experience! 10/10

It was just on my way home from my first day back to work after a lengthy covid lay-off. My mind filled with a back log of many pressing matters that required making decisions about new directions and changes.
At a moment's glance, as I turned the corner off the side street from work, I noticed this subtle but to the point sign, 'Okanagan Credit Centre'. Unknowingly, I pulled my old early 90's van into the lot and with doing so, started a whole series of events to follow. While cruising for a shaded parking spot, a gentleman that was engaged in conversation with someone else smiled and knodded as I drove by.
I parked and stepped out for a breath of fresh air. I leaned over the box of one of the trucks that was for sale and as I was reflecting, the gentleman slowly strides over and as he approaches, he just said with a concerning voice, 'Are you okay? ' he asked. I replied, Yes. I was just going to have a look around. He said sure, go right ahead. I'll just be right over there. Would you like a glass of water?
Not exactly your typical sales approach, but as I was about to find out, this was not one of your typical car lots either.
We had soon then struck up conversation. I told him a little bit about myself and he shared with me some stories about himself and what their business was about.
I wasn't going to play around or lead anyone on so I just cut straight to the point and said, 'I'm pretty financially tight right now and my credit is not looking good either. I have two young children and an old van that's not safety compliant. I would like to get my family into something a little newer, affordable and safe but I doubt there is anything you can do for me and I don't want to waste your time.
He gave me this warming smile and said, come on Vernon, let's go inside for a bit and get out of the heat.
I said sure. Steve introduced me to his colleagues, Rachelle and Stefan. Steve got me a glass of cold water, asked me a couple questions, got me to sit and relax and meet his dog. What a sweetie. She came right over and introduced herself with tail whipping and kisses.
A few minutes later, Stefan comes over to me and asked, are your keys in your van? Yes.would you like me to move it? No, no. That's fine he said. Oh, these are your old plates. I'll just give them to the insurance agent as soon as he arrives. Would you like to come out and see your new Van? Oh, and Rachelle would like you to go into her office. She has a couple papers she needs you to sign!
I have never met a group of more efficient and positive directive people in all my life. From the time I pulled into the dealership, to the time I was un-expectedly in a beautiful new Mini Van and insured and on my way home, was less time than the amount of time it takes to do a Costco run with the hotdogs after.
No regrets, no buyer's remorse, Just totally at ease and relaxed and happy with the outcome. My wife's extremely overjoyed and my little man love's daddy's new bus 'he calls it's.
Why can't everyone in this industry make it as pleasurable and painless as these wonderful people at 'Kelowna Credit Centre'?
My experience here with this group of professionals, was nothing short of amazing.

Great atmosphere, Steve helped me buy my first car and getting financed with no problems. The finance manager went through all the paperwork work with me to make sure I understood everything. I highly recommend them, especially for first time buyers.

They sell vehicles with misleading and false descriptions, and when you ask if things will be fixed and taken care of they say "YES" but then you have to fight to get it done. I had to go back as the rear wheel barrings were going and I had to fight to get them fixed. The drivers heated seat doesn't work and the windshield washer fluid doesn't work either and now they refuse to fix it for me cause it isn't a safety issue. I have to pay for it? But in previous communication with the sales person she assured me it would all be taken care of for me. They are horrible with customer service, treat you like your nothing once they have your signature. DO NOT BUY FORM HERE.

My family has bought 3 cars from them and we couldn’t be happier! The staff is not only friendly but knowledgeable! Would highly recommend buying from here.

Test drove a truck I've always wanted and worked out trade details on my current vehicle. Placed a $1000 deposit down and was told that the truck was going to have a sold sign placed on it and it was being moved to the back. I was to return back 2 days later and made my travel plans and printed out my bank draft for the dealership. The day before I come up there, the manager calls to tell me that another salesman had sold my truck and they would do their best to make things right. I never got a call back from them and took my business elsewhere. Very upsetting as I felt this dealership wasn't one of those sleazy ones but was proven wrong
