Okanagan Hockey Group

We attended the camp in Calgary this last summer. I actually was expecting a little bit more correction during the drills. We also paid for the meal plan as we thought it'd be easier as we are from out of town. We also thought that the meal plan would've included healthier snacks and meals for these up and coming athletes. I wasn't impressed as their snack was unhealthy (chocolate bars, chips, etc.) Meals were all deep fried and one day was hot dogs! I understand kids can be picky eaters but the advertisement was shown to have healthy meals. The only healthy part of their meals were the options of some veggies. I would've liked to see some coaching on proper and healthy eating for athletes. Even though all these things, my child had a blast and learned alot on and off ice!

I have had both my kids aged 7 and 9 attend multiple camps. Both improved massively- learned on and off ice skills. They made friends from all over the world. They loved the meals! Counselors were caring and friendly. Highly recommend and enjoyed watching them! Looking forward to next summer when their cousins join them from SD Cali. We are so fortunate to live near and have this school in Penticton!
