Okanagan Lakefront Resort

This is the second year that we’ve stayed at the Okanogan Lakefront Resort during our summer holidays. The rooms are clean and functional, the mezzanine areas are really nice for hanging out and relaxing. The lake views can’t be beat!

With that said, what keeps us coming back is the casual, laid back atmosphere created by Doug and his crew. We especially love hanging out with Marley and Jinx!

Keep up the great work! We will definitely be back and recommend this resort to anyone vacationing in the Penticton area.

This place was pretty decent. They managed to take us in at the very last minute. It was actually really clean compared to some of the other motels on that street and the front desk clerks were really friendly. The bed and pillows were comfy but the pull out bed wasn’t. Other than that I don’t have anything bad to say about the room. Obviously not a 5 star hotel, but still really good compared to all the other 3 stars on the street.

Wonderful experience, caretaker Doug is awesome.kind, welcoming and so helpful. Marley his dog is my bud. Place is clean and comfortable. Great weekend with so much energy with car show and Elvis. 2nd time here and rebooked for next year. New management took away continental breakfast which is a shame but all in all great location, friendly staff and great experience!

The views from the patio are mesmerising.
There are lots of eateries around the resort.
Rooms were cosy and clean too.

Nice wee spot for an Okanagan break. Directly opposite the beach this property had good parking spaces outside our room, a very spacious room which was clean and had very good pillows. There were three outside spaces for relaxing and Bbq and we had a nice time sitting on the beach facing deck people watching.

The motel is not fancy by any means, but has everything one needs to enjoy an affordable stay in Penticton. Our room was reasonably clean and the kitchenette was equipped with most necessities (a baking sheet would be a nice addition). The location was fantastic, sunset views every night, restaurants and the ice cream shop close by and across the street from the beach. We would for sure stay here again.

It may be something for the owners to consider, but not a deal breaker. We were there for a five night stay, we would have loved a few extra coffee filters or some fresh towels part way through our stay.

Great location and service! Easy to book. I got immediate response when I need to make booking changes. Easy check-in and check-out. Everything is so well organized. When I need assistance, just text and your help is available right away. Room is clean and tidy. Is not new but very clean with a good price. Thanks so much Shelly and Kendra! Will definitely book again on my next visit to Penticton!

Decent suites with all the amenities in the room, would have been nice to have an AC in the bedroom as well. Love the location though, access to the lake and all other spots

The hotel is older but the rooms are newly renovated. The self check in was great after a long drive. And the location is perfect, you can sit on the upper deck and look out over the beach and lake.

Great location across from the beach. Our suite had been recently renovated, and it looked great, although the bedrooms are very small. Nice welcome from the manager. I will absolutely stay here again.

What separates this accommodation from the rest is the customer service AND the ability to communicate via TEXT.it's 2023 afterall.

The rooms were very tidy and neatly set for the incoming guest.

Really, just a perfect stay with an incredible location across from the beach.

Never going to check other properties, will simply call and reserve again.

Great off season booking location.
Quick and clear communication with staff and super friendly.

Have been to Pentiction a few times with low expectations of staying across from the beach in older hotels most of them are average at best but to our surprise and pleasure we entered a nicely redone room that was incredibly clean and comfortable.

Loved the no hassle electronic keypad door locks.
The text communication was absolutely amazing and Shelly was on her game with super quick response to anything we needed for our 6 day stay.
Can’t remember the guys name but they have a handyman that cleans the BBQ and tables, chairs, floors or anything that needs to be done

Only negative thing I’d say about this hotel is the mattresses are super hard. Like rock hard. I recommend bringing a mattress topper if you’re road tripping! Definitely one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever walked into, and the staff was extremely kind and responsive!

We had such a great experience last summer staying here! Staff was amazing! We cant wait to be back this summer!
