My daughter had an amazing experience here she felt very comfortable with they dental hygienist and Dr Farquhar.

We were visiting family in Kelowna for the weekend and our daughter chipped her tooth. Dr. Farquhar took time away from his family on a Saturday morning with very little notice, working for an hour, with no assistant, to re-attach the broken piece. He did a great job, was great with our daughter, great to chat with, and has an adorable dog.

Dr. Terry Farquhar has been a great dentist for our son but recent changes at the clinic seem to have caused issues with availability and scheduling. We were notified a week prior to our appointment that it would need to be rescheduled to a date almost 4 months away.

We have been coming to this office for eight years. Our child enjoys going to the dentist and feels at ease despite his anxiety issues. Wonderful staff. I recommend this dental office to all my friends.

We have been taking our daughter here and had no problems with the actual dentist.

What makes me give them a 1 star is what just happened.

After avoiding appointments during COVID, we were eager to get her back into the dentist. We only have one day in the week that works for appointments, so we had to book it way off in the future.

Now less than a week before the appt, I received an email from the dentist to confirm our appt, and yet it was booked on a different day.

So I called the office to get it straightened out and that’s where the poor business practices came out. She claimed I had been sent an email to inform us about the change. I’ve scoured my email and no such notice exists.

And even if it did, the company should either require confirmation from the “change of time” email, or should call to make the change. It is not ok at any time to just rebook people into whatever slot you feel like, without asking them.

So now we were told that the next available appt on the day we can go, is almost another 2 months away. Seriously? How is that ok? So we get screwed out of our appt that we booked way in advance, don’t even get notified, and then get rebooked without consultation, finally to have an alternate offered so far out.

Really poor office practice people.

We are now taking her to our adult dentist, and we’re able to get an appt for the same day these people cancelled us without notice.

I am beyond thankful for the team at Okanagan Pediatric Dentistry! My 2.5 year old daughter has been anxious when it comes to the dentist, and has not handled it well in the past but she LOVES the staff here! They are so patient and kind and my husband (who took her in) said incredible things.

We absolutely love Dr. Terry and the team. They are so friendly and welcoming and amazing with the kids. Great place to take your kids!

My child needs dental work done so we came in for a consult. The hygienist we saw was Angela? And she was amazing. She had a really bubbly personality and was great at explaining what her and dr Robb we’re going to check for. We also had some financial worries due to our extended coverage and the front desk was great at explaining the costs. I felt pretty great leaving the office knowing my kid would get her teeth fix and at much less of a cost than what I originally expected.

Always the best experience possible. All the staff are friendly, helpful and amazingly kind and patient. Even with extremely high anxiety kids. My children all have autism and all struggle immensely with dental visits. The
Okanagan Pediatric Dentist office have been so accommodating, so patient and have helped to only do as much as the kids are comfortable with. The kids are more confident and willing to cooperate every time we go.

They always treat my daughter with such kindness and ease her mind as she's very anxious about going to the dentist. She has had pretty major dental surgery as well and Dr. Farquhar was fantastic, he really cares about his patients.

Hands down best pediatric dentist! We travel over 6 hours to visit them. It’s SO worth it when both my kids leave with smiles on their face.

All of our experiences have went great! From oral surgery to procedures in the office we have no complaints. Dr Terry F is very easy to talk to and was very reassuring when I was nervous about our daughter's surgery. I would highly recommend them.

Had a very good experience here. My daughter also was more calm and enjoyed all the animals on the wall.

Dr. Farquhar and his team are amazing! I can’t say enough great things on behalf of both of my little ones. Truly child centred care.

Took my 1 year old in for her first check up, Dr. Rob and our hygenist were both super friendly and very knowledgable, they did things quick which is key with a little one and were able to give me lots of helpful information on how to set my daughter up for future dental success!

Best dentist experience with my son ever. My 6 year old is usually very nervous, but the staff and Dr. Farquhar create an environment that is so child friendly that my son was totally at peace. I'm thrilled to have has this experience.

I don’t often write reviews but I absolutely must in this case. Dr Farquahar and his staff are amazing! 2 out of my 4 kids have had to been seen to with teeth issues.on both occasions my kids were both exceptionally relaxed and put at ease by the staff and Dr Farquahar. I am extremely happy with the whole process and with the treatment of my kids. I only wish that he did adult teeth too haha.

Such a great experience! This team made my son feel so at ease. They were kind, caring, gentle and explained everything to him before doing anything. Instead of leaving in tears, he left with a smile! Thanks so much!

Amazing pediatric dentist. We had our first visit the other day and have seen 2 other pediatric dentist in the past. I left feeling confident in my sons care who is non verbal and autistic with high anxiety. Thankful for dentists like this!

I've taken both of my kids to Okanagan Pediatric Dentist now and have been very pleased with our experiences. All the staff are so kind and caring. My daughter had Dr. Farquhar and now my son has visited Dr. Robb. Both are amazing. I highly recommend both doctors!
