Old Xian's Food

Visited for lunch, the food was good, but both of us had diarrhea in the evening. We only had old xian together that day. I don’t know what happened to the food safety here.

We visited Old Xian Food at Richmond location recently, We ordered the cumin beef biang biang noodles, and they exceeded our expectations. The flavors were rich and aromatic, with the perfect balance of cumin and spices. The beef was tender, and the biang biang noodles were handmade and cooked to perfection.

Service was great, The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish.

Come here for the biang biang noodles with spicey oil - it has a nice chewy texture and is very tasty (we add cumin lamb to it). Cucumber in garlic is really delicious too.

My go-to takeaway in Richmond. Love their noodles and spicy soups and burgers. Great portion sizes too!

If you have a big group, this is not the place for you as they don't have much seating. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids and even though they said the table can only sit 5, we managed to squeeze ourselves. The waitress was phenomenal. She was basically the only one managing the whole place and still managed to ensure that customers were served. We had to wait a while to place our orders but the food came quickly. And it was delicious! Favorites were the lamb soup, cold noodle, crispy sweet and sour pork and the pork burger.

We like their hand pulled noodles as well as the biang biang noodles with cumin lamb. Get this in hot spicy oil and that’s all you need. Nice little spot located in the Continental shopping centre in Richmond. Friendly staff with good service.

My wife and I come here regularly for dinner- their noodles are fresh and have a satisfying chew to them and the flavours in their dishes are great. Our favourites include the garlic lamb, stewed pork with tomato scrambled eggs on “biang biang” noodles, Xi’an spicy oil noodles (vegetarian) and cumin lamb which comes served with rice or between bread like a burger. So far, we’ve enjoyed every dish we’ve tried here. Delicious! Would definitely recommend.

This place is so good! We had to come back several times to get seated since they are always so busy. We ordered the cumin beef burger along with two biang biang noodle dishes. The portions are hella big so if u come with a significant other, unless u guys have big appetites, just get one noodle dish to share

They are clean and kind. Food comes fast and delicious. Our family like to go without any arguments.

Food is hit or miss depending on when you go, but I love this place regardless and will keep coming back. Quality is unbeatable for the price and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The handful led noodles are fantastic, love the braised pork soup, dumplings in chilli oil, potato and cucumber side dish.

The biang biang noodles are lovely, and super thick. Worth trying if you haven't yet! Also nice big portion sizes is a bonus.

Burgers and noodles are fantastic, coming to this place every week for my Monday treat! Server is so nice, price is always nice! Highly recommended for eating Xi An traditional food!

The noodles are very strong, and the taste is suitable for my northern taste! Very recommended! Will come again next time I come to Vancouver!

As always, it's super delicious! The portion is also big! Every time I don't know what to eat, I eat Lao Xi'an. That's right!

One of my best favourite traditional Chinese cuisine in Richmond. We love Liangpi, roujiamo. Very suitable for fast lunch or dinner, quick delivery, reasonable price and good services. Worthy to recommend to friends who love Xian food.

Had the stewed pork on biangbiang noodles and it was amazing. The service was great and fast! I went for takeout and was seated and served tea while waiting. The noodles were perfectly chewy and the broth was gorgeous.

Invincible delicious! Every time when you are in a bad mood, a Roujiamo Liangpi or a big plate chicken will immediately make you feel good! ! !

I ordered his crayfish delicious before and cried my mother! The crayfish are delicious, and the fried potato chips are burnt. Put them in a large plate of chicken, absolutely amazing! ! It's really more upright than the one on Guijie Street!

I have eaten at his house many times, basically no thunder! !

The noodles in the big plate chicken for takeout were not cooked, so I just said that I will give you a copy next time! ! It's so bright! ! !

I swear from the first bite to the last bite I had no idea what was going on around me. It was just me and my plate of noodles. The food was beyond good. This is real authentic northern chinese cuisine.
Our server gave us detailed descriptions of each dish and her recommendations were just so amazing.
The portions were great for the price point too

If you want authentic Xi’An food, this this the place to go. Great service and food tastes amazing!

We ate there for dinner tonight. On the first hand we seat at the middle because other seats were occupied. However, after some customers of the side table left. We asked to take that seat and the waitress refused. She told us that some other customers who ordered more dishes than us also asked for it. But I noticed they ordered the same as me. What a liar! And at the end, she let the new customers, who come after I made that request sat there. I was so mad about that. I don’t ever want to come back again! It totally ruined my dining experience here. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
